My wife and I are out of state residents who own a townhouse in Abingdon, Virginia. We share an asphalt drive with a neighbor that is quite steep (our townhouse is at the top of a hill) and after researching pavers settled on Abingdon Grading and Paving. Am I glad we did! They are (1) very competent and (2) very honorable. Our job was done quickly and capably. The drives are as smooth as glass. Fellow neighbors elected to have their drives overlay-ed as well with Abingdon Grading and Paving and our neighborhood looks 100% better. Angie, a principal with the firm, is a wonderful source of referral for other tradesman and since we are out of state owners we appreciate her kindness in helping us. I feel we got a great deal of value for our drive asphalt overlay and highly recommend these nice folks..

I called for an estimate (after getting a recommendation from a friend who used them a few years ago) to have it repaired, and also to have it asphalted. The estimate for repair was $2500, and for asphalt it was $12,500. I opted for the repair, and I am very pleased. They were punctual, and professional, and the owner really took the time to explain to me the process. They charged me exactly what they estimated, and cleaned up after themselves. What an improvement! Hassle free & well worth the money!
Description of Work: My driveway was horrible. It was washed out so bad 3 people had to be towed out of it. Five or six guys came with several impressive pieces of road equipment. They cut back some tree limbs, scraped the driveway down, diverted the water, built up a steep spot, put two dump truck loads of "pug mix" on it, and compacted it down with a vibratory roller. It looks great!
