+ -1 moreI chose this company because it received favorable reviews on Angie's List. They were the ones with the most local reviews, and a positive image. He was very honest in hist assessment. He said the engione wasn't worth fixing, but I still had the option to pay for a new carbuerator kit...but if the cylinder was scored, then the new kit wouldn't do any good. It was decent of them to not start work without my say-so. In fact, I felt so good about it that I bought a new snow thrower from them when they told me about a sale they were having, and gave me advice as to the best engines out there. If I am going to buy, then it will be done locally whenever possible, from local companies that give back to the community.
Description of Work: Took a 2-stroke lawn edger tool in for repair. I was told the cost was $85, but that with the type of engine it is, they couldn't even guarantee that it would work when they were done. I chose to not take a gamble like that when a new engine (with a waranty) costs a mere $40 more at Home Depot.

+ 0 moreThey provide friendly service and sought to help me solve the issues that I was having in my lawncare. They have a beautiful, clean store with a large selection- that was worth traveling north for. (It was only about 5-7 minutes from downtown SLC to get there). They have a large variety of products that are really helpful to cater to specialized needs (which is why a friend recommended them to me). They also have a beautiful section of fireplaces that they sell, which I will look into for my next project. It is rare for a store like this to be and quot;womenand quot; friendly, but Jenn was a wonderful help to me. She is part owner of the store and is very knowledgeable. She is now my go-to person for any questions. Another thing I plan to buy from them is a back-up generator to help when we have those summer brown-outs or black-outs. They will even install. Sweet!
Description of Work: I bought a lawn mower, trimmer and sprinkler supplies. I needed a lot of help figuring out what sprinkler supplies that I required and they were very helpful.
