Description of Work: Arrived on time and evaluated the faucet and piping. Given location, the technician needed a different repair kit - explained everything and left to get the right equipment. Returned promptly and finished the work quickly and well. No more leaking faucet!

Description of Work: I saw this special on Angies List back in September and purchased it. I contacted Esco and they said they wouldn't have anyone available until the second weekend in October. I figured they were getting a high volume from the special so said that's fine. | |The day of the service came, I scheduled through my job to work from home to be here for the service. Esco called and said their tech was out sick that day and they wouldn't have anyone available for another 3 weeks. By the time that rolls around there will be snow covering the outdoor spicket needing replaced. | |I cancelled the service and am awaiting a refund.

Description of Work: I knew when I signed up for $99 that they would try to get more money out of me somehow. The faucet I had was not the standard 5-15 dollar faucet so the would have to charge me more. There was no access to the back of the faucet so they would have to cut a hole in the ceiling in the basement to access it. when the guy came back with the parts I had him pull on the faucet and behold there was enough slack in the water line to cut it and put a new faucet on. it took him 15 minutes or less. I was impressed at how fast he could do it. But the faucet probably cost 25 at most. Angies List was not specific enough in the service that was offered and I will never purchase another service through angies list because of that. It is a dis service to all subscribers not to list specifics or allow the potential customer to call the service provider before buying to ask the specifics as to what is covered and what is not.

Description of Work: they (he) came and installed one outside electrical box per an office on Angie's list. they came within a week of the initial contact on time and did it quickly and cleaned up after himself.

Description of Work: After cancelling my appointment 3 times for "emergencies", the repairman arrived on time for the 4th appointment. He was pleasant and confident. After having removed my old outdoor faucet, he was unable to connect the new fitting into the walls (house is 58 years old) from the outside and had to come inside (which is fully furnished with lath and plaster walls. He measured carefully and found that he could install an access panel in one of the closets to access the water line. He did this quickly and efficiently with minimal mess. The new faucet seems to work just fine.

Description of Work: The provider came out, looked at the unit and did a repair and refused to honor the deal, said that i had to present him a coupon, made me pay for the full service call and repair and did not apply anything from what I paid Angies list.

Description of Work: The technician tightened the faucets so they did not drip but did not replace one as the Angie's deal specified. Apparently the deal was for a non-frost free faucet-- which was not specified on the advertised deal-- and both of ours have the frost free feature. The technician said it would cost more to do ours. We had paid $99 for the faucet replacement and the technician said he would charge us $49 for the service call and we could get the balance back from Angie's Deal. This was not what we had envisioned of course. Before we could call Angie's Deal we got a call from the ESCO asking for feedback on how the deal could have been worded to make it clear it applied to "basic" faucet replacement only. We appreciated the customer service this reflected. We were offered the opportunity to have the frost free faucet replacement for a reduced cost or to have our money refunded. We will use ESCO in the future based on this over the top customer service, even though we are opting to have our money refumded on this deal.

Description of Work: We replaced a furnace and air conditioning system in our home. Esco workmen were prompt, clean, and did a good job. The system works as expected. The cost was more than other companies may charge, but the guarantee is good. If this system is as good as the 20 year old one we replaced, we hope to never have to use the guarantee.

Description of Work: I got a bid from them to re-do our HVAC system. All new ducts and A/C I was re-using the furnace. Let's just say I wish I would have used them. I could tell they really know their stuff. The price was actually better than the company I wound up using. They had great recommendations. They gave a nice detailed bid. Were not about upselling me unnecessary extras. Came across as really honest. Will use the next time.
