Description of Work: A flood in the basement damaged the furnace. They did an assessment of the damage and gave us the choice between attempting to repair the unit or replace it. We felt that their assessment was accurate and honest. Since the unit was 16 years old, we decided to replace it. They were responsive to our questions and they did the work as promised and quickly.

Description of Work: They did a home energy inspection and honestly, it was MUCH more thorough than I had expected and it was VERY helpful. They took about 1.5-2 hours and went through everything. They even seal off our house and brought in an infrared gun to read where any cold air leaks were. I was very impressed and I would highly endorse their home energy inspection services.

Description of Work: They came to do the $39 Angie's List toilet tune up, but weren't able to do it due to the style and age of my toilets. To make things right they did 2 free toilet installs on new toilets not even purchased through them. Very amazing customer service!

Description of Work: Multiple cancellations with notification on the last appointment less than 2 hours before the appointment. I had taken off work and was driving home when I received the call. Unacceptable!!! What's especially unfortunate is I had planned to use ESCO to replace my HVAC with high efficiency units, Water Heater to an on demand and install a new water softener. Too bad for them, if they keep cancelling appointments they may not have to worry about anyone's business. They lost mine.

Yes we did call on the third appointment to reschedule and are very sorry. We certainly understand how inconvenient that is, especially when you have juggle work as well. The last thing we ever want to due is reschedule one of our valued customers and only do so when emergencies arise. Again we are very sorry we were not able to connect and hope you will accept our apology. Description of Work: Bought a outlet deal from Angies List. They said that our outlet was not standard, so they had to uncharge. Had several other items I wanted done, so asked them to give me a price. The price came in at over $2000. We decided to call a local electrician company to get a 2nd bid, and that 2nd bid came in at half the cost of ESCO. We ended up asking Angies List for a refund of the $99 as they couldn't perform the work needed. I felt really jaded by the experience, like it was a bait and switch. Would not use.

Description of Work: They did a main water line replacement. There were some serious problems with communication during this project -- between Esco and the city and between Esco and me, the homeowner. Very frustrating. The finished project seems to be working fine though.
