The scheduling was no problem, I got a phone call to confirm when the service person was on his way, and he arrived right on time and got the faucet replaced. The installer was very nice and was careful to wear boots and keep everything tidy as he worked even though we had a lot of projects going on and things were already a mess. It's great to have a new faucet before winter. The installer did suggest other services, including some electrical work that I am in need of, but I didn't feel pressured by that at all and I'm glad to know Esco does some things I will need in the future. I did not know the workman would have to access my basement and if I'd known, I would have tidied up a bit ahead of time, but he was very nice to deal with it and I know a lot more about where the pipes are in my house now! My only complaint is that I was charged another 100.00 to do the work because my faucet was freeze-proof? I still don't understand what that was about as I was under the impression my faucet was just a regular one. There was no mention in the "Big Deal" that certain faucets would not be covered by the deal so that part was bad. Maybe the price was still reasonable but since I just trusted Angie's List and bought the deal and didn't research anything ahead of time, I'm not sure. I contacted Angie's List about this and they were unresponsive. So I will probably use Esco again, but may not use a Big Deal again as I no longer trust that I'm getting the offer being advertised.

Service was great. I was needing an A/C tune-up for my two units. The technician was prompt in getting there. Very professional and friendly. He even put up with my dog following him around while he was working. Overall, a great experience. Will be happy to recommend them to others.

They responded promptly to my call even thought it was the day before a major holiday (July 4th). My old water heater needed to be replaced and we couldn't be without it for the 3 day Holiday weekend. They were able to get a crew out and get it installed that day. They didn't charge extra under the circumstance in fact gave me an additional discount because I recently used them for my A/C tune up. They pointed out 3 "code errors" from the previous install (different company) and fixed them all without additional charges as part of the new install. Very knowledgeable, professional and fairly priced.

The technician arrived on time and was very polite. However, he was not very thorough, and jumped to the recommendation that "you need a new furnace and air conditioner system probably sooner than later." He did not check the air filter (it turned out that it was dirty and needed to be replaced.) I had replacement filters sitting next to the furnace, this would have been an easy check. After he left, my air conditioner was still struggling. I called another company this time. It turned out that the coil and blower fan REALLY needed to be cleaned. Once this was performed, my system began to function well. I would not recommend Esco if you are hoping that something can be repaired.

I had ESCO come to my house for an AC tune up. The service man showed up on time and did let me know certain minor things I could do to help get more circulation into my house (ie: leaving doors open, changing filter, etc.) I know my system is old but I just moved in and wanted a tune up only. He told me I needed a new system. He told me that a new system was going to be over $10,000 on average. When he asked me why I was waiting on getting a new system, I told him that I simply could not afford that at this time. He then said I could have their company come out for a free estimate for a new system- when I told him again that I could not afford it. He then insulted me and said that if I can't afford that not to waste their time. He did a minor repair which was an additional $150. Overall I felt that the entire visit was a complete sales pitch and had no interest in doing a tune up alone (which is why I had them come in the first place) rude company that I will never use again.

The firs day owner came in and inspected all the connections. The second day he someone else to hook up the power to the main. They advised me the right thing to in order to reduce costs. Their suggestions were great and to date everything works well.

They were very good. I had a group on with them and I felt the price was reasonable for the work that was done. They produced a very nice report for us and gave us a couple of different options on the ways to do the maintenance issues we needed to take care of. So we got that as we were planning to see through the process. I would recommend others to do this home performance assessment because it is a great document to have to let you know what you need to do keep your house in a very functional order. It is a very interesting process and they are very professional and very experienced people.

We had been thinking about getting a tank-less water heater for several years so the state of that water tank led us to go and replace that with a tank-less water heater. It is good to have unlimited hot water. They had to run a vent where I thought it would be easy to run a vent through a mechanical chase that I had but they thought that wouldn't be the most economical way to do it so they did a different routing for the exhaust of the system and that worked out fine. They just seemed to do a very good job and when we inspected the work, it was very nicely done. They are installers of tank less water heaters and I thought they would be very familiar with maintenance and that turned out not to be true.

They just did a detalied inspection of the house which included the energy systems and the insulation. They checked for air leaks and all that sort of thing and they gave me a report of the various things that I can do to reduce my energy consumption. They had a special promotion and the service normally costs $300 but they were offering it for $39 so I used them.

ESCO installed our furnace/air conditioner some years ago and we have since then had a service contract with them for spring and fall checkups. They come on time (or let you know promptly if there are any delays) and complete the needed work effectively and professionally. I feel our furnace and air conditioner are very well maintained thanks to this regular service.

Upon inspection, it was discovered that the air filter in my basement was NEVER installed properly (20 years ago, but I just purchased the home 8 months ago). Therefore, my entire ventilation system was covered in filth. John cleaned the air handlers and installed a filter holder. He cleaned the Evaporation coil, cleaned the condensation coils, installed r22 refrigerant and a new filter, free of charge. John was great at educating me on my system and helping me make educated decisions about how to proceed with old a/c units. I valued his help and teaching.

Technician arrived on time and worked fast. He diagnosed the problems with our very complex system. The office staff were very professional in handling payment and appointments. We highly recommend this company and we will use them again.

The electrician was punctual, very professional, courteous, knew what he was doing. Did not try and sell anything. Gave information on a needful basis. Would definitely recommend them again.

oI had seen the Home Performance Assessment done on a Fraternity House on which I was working as a project Coordinating Architect for the University of Utah. It was an interesting application of building technology so when it showed up as a Groupon deal, I thought it would be good to see how our 1915 home would perform. The report ESCO presented us was a very good product. It showed all the things we could d along with the repair cost and the consequent energy savings. ESCO is a heating and cooling contractor, so they are experienced at this type of work. When they gave us the report, they recommended the sequence of fixes we could do to make our home the most energy efficient it could be. It is a valuable tool for us to use as we proceed with home improvements.

Travis and Paul were very thorough and provided very honest and valuable feedback on the home's strengths and weaknesses and areas needing repair. I would absolutely recommend ESCO for all home services simply based on their honesty and integrity. This company will not recommend and sell something if it isn't truly needed.

The serviceman came and supposedly performed a tune up on my furnace. He then tried to upsell me on a whole monthly service plan that seemed pointless. He was very salesy and I felt like I was being taken advantage of. Well, less than 1 month later, my furnace stopped working and I called in a different company to fix it. That serviceman told me that he had to clean off several things in the furnace that should have been taken care of in my tune up before. I will never use ESCO again and will never trust them in my home again. Update: I was contacted by ESCO's manager who left me a message apologizing for my bad experience. He also said they were going to retrain the technician and refunded my money. This makes me believe that I just had a fluke bad experience with this technician who doesn't really represent the whole company. I greatly appreciate the manager contacting me and making things right. :)
