YES! Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electric

Call was made to let me know arrival time. Arrived on time. Very professional and polite. Showed me the repairs and made sure everything was working. All traces of pieces removed were gone and surfaces were tidy.

It ended up being a major effort to up-sell. The technician did not call in advance to authorize any additional work. He only called me afterwards. He explained that it required an extra hour of labor. He tested the GFCI circuit before concluding that the outlet just needed to be swapped. In the end, he told me that it took 45 minutes (vice 1 hour) to test the circuit and offered to prorate the extra labor. That was generous. He also tested the smoke detector system. In his words, "It didn't test correctly." Luckily, they were running a special to replace all the smoke detectors. Very convenient. He also tested the blower on the HVAC unit. He suggested that I purchase a preventative maintenance package that Esco was offering. Overall, I feel like Esco used the Angie's List offer to create additional work for themselves. I am very disappointed in their service and sales techniques and will not be using them again.

Never got what I paid for. All I got was the technician trying to upsell me with the following. 1. Buy their warranty insurance for about $1500.00 2. Replace all of my toilets in the house 3. Re-seal all of my toilets in the house 4. Last of all he would actually do the work that I asked for by removing the clog

It was fine I wouldn't say it was excellent it was fine. Try somebody else.

They had to reschedule the day before they were supposed to come, which was a little annoying because it's hard for me to get time off of work to be home for repairs. In any case, when the electrician came he finished installing all three fixtures in about an hour. Since I had purchased two hours of time, he also did a full check on all the electrical in my house, tightened up connections on the box and exercised the breakers. Apparently those are all really important. In the end I was pleased with the work he did.

The work was performed professionally and quickly. The technician was on time, worked as quickly as possible, and cleaned up any mess.

It went well - He explained what he was doing and looking for throughout the process which helped me understand the questions better. He gave options for service, but did not push to sell more or create an artificial need to perform services. He did spend time pushing the annual service plan - pay regular monthly fee and receive 4 free evaluations each year. This did take up longer than I would have liked. I purchased this through Angie's List and it did take over a month before they could service my furnace.

This was real good. They came when they said they would and they got it fixed in the shortest amount of time and they charged me what it was supposed to be.

Robbie came out on Christmas Eve to resolve a scheduling mix up from the day before. He promptly diagnosed the problem but didn't have the part in his van. I assumed that i would be waiting until after Christmas to have the repair completed but he made the 2 hour round trip to get the part and had it repaired the same day! Not only that, but he was able to swap out just the faulty motor and not the entire module saving me about $600 on the original quote. I will be calling Robbie at ESCO for any future heating/cooling needs. Thank you and happy New Year!

Early November office call, 3 week call out day. They called to reschedule , now 10 day out in early December . Called again they need to reschedule . I gave up . Would not have treated treated me this way if I had full rate. Never called back to apologize for my miss handling. Would never use them again.

ESCO bids on each of these projects were at least twice as much as the next closest bid. ($450 to replace a thermostat with a simple $30 programmable model. Really?) The technician was very articulate and affable, a really nice guy, but when he handed me the numbers, I was blown away.

We obviously did not nor would we hire ESCO.

I purchase i hour service for $ 49.00 as it was advertised from Esco plumbing they scheduled my appointment 2 weeks ahead. One hour before my appointment Esco call me wanting to reschedule for 2 more weeks or pay $ 79.00 to keep my appointment that's wrong and false advertisement

The replacement of the boiler turned out to be very difficult and the heating system didn't work for about three weeks after the new boiler was installed and all the pipes in the utility room replace. But ESCO promptly sent two different technicians out of separate occasions, each of whom diagnosed the problem incorrectly. (As I said, it was a complicated problem, in part because we had a complicated system that had been rigged up by a contractor in 1950 with what we think must have been left over parts from a host of other jobs.) Finally, the head of all plumbing came to the house and correctly diagnosed the problem. By this time, one of three pumps that we'd replaced (about $800 per pump) had burned out because the pump had been working hard to pump water through the system, but the system had a blockage that no one had discovered until this third attempt at a fix. The next day, a team came out and fixed the actual problem AND replaced the pump, needless to say, free of charge. All the extra time spent attempting to get the system glitch worked out was prompt and free--despite the fact that we had already paid in full for the many jobs ESCO had done for us. Some companies would have relegated us to the back burner with the thought that they had no more to gain by dealing promptly with a problem, so why not wait till it was convenient? Not ESCO. We've used their service before and always had great results. They aren't the less expensive heating and air and plumbing company out there, but they are the best and stand by their work.

It felt like the goal of the person was just to sell us a services plan or get us to buy a new furnace. Didn't get the sense he really wanted to do anything else ---disappointing

What a joke! Paid for an hour of Plumbing services. You are given 3 times to schedule. Esco called said those times don't work. Scheduled something two weeks out. Day before service I called to make sure they were coming out. They cancelled and tried to reschedule me for something another 10 days out. This is a scam if you ask me. They don't want to do the work. I am sure it's filler and if they get their own work they push back Angies list clients. I cancelled. Live and learn we will see if Angies list will refund me my money now.

Scheduling the appointment with the office team was not great. Once we got it scheduled and the service man came out, he was extremely efficient, professional and went above and beyond expectations. Excellent service!

Pete came right on time and performed the service quickly and professionally. He recommended some liner work which at this time we can't afford, but would use them if we do it.

Very well done. However be aware that the tech will be very picky on location of outdoor outlet. My first choice was doable and within the specifications for doing the job for the price, however the tech wanted to put it in the other location that was less work for him. It wasn't a big deal for me, however it was clear that he wanted to get it done and go but not before spending 20 minutes giving me a soft sell of the ESCO membership program and all of its options.

Tried to make business with them. Called to the company to find out how this deal works. We need to do several different projects (from small and easy project of ceiling fan replacement to new wiring for our patio). So the lady on the phone was unable to provide any specific information (for example - if one hour is not enough to get the project done, how much extra we have to pay). The same thing was about all other questions regarding our other projects. She just said that the technician will give us the labor price at the job site once he starts. To be honest, it sounds kind of weird and we'd like to know the price before we start the project. Because once they start you have no choice but have them finish the project and they can spent any time and charge any amount for it. So we asked to technician to give as a call so we can discuss about our projects. Needless to say that nobody called us.. So buyers, beware!

They wired up a new electrical box and mount for the ceiling fan in about an hour. I told them I could take care of the mounting, wiring, and assembly of the ceiling fan after that, so they did a great job on their side of the work.
