It turned out very well. They had a quick response and were professional.

Arrived quickley. Spent an hour to an hour and a half and was finished. Everything was left clean. Telephone staff was helpful and friendly. The service provider who arrived at the house was professional and quick to get the job done. My husband usually does most of our home repairs and this was outside of what he was able to handle, and the cost was higher than I expected. However it has been a month and I've not had any further problems.

We needed to buy a new on. Since I had used Rescue Rooter before and was satisfied, I decided to give them a second shot at my business. They came promptly, within an hour upon my having made the call. They took a look at the water heater and said that they could take care of it. I said to go ahead and proceed with the replacement. Well, my wife heard about it being $1,000 and insisted we get a 2nd bid. Her family (albeit 5 years prior) were able to replace their water heaters at a cost of $500 - $700. When Rescue Rooter returned to my house they had just picked up the new water heater and were in the process of draining the tank. I told them to stop and that I would need to postpone the installation until I had enough time to do some comparison shopping. Well, I did that comparison and Rescue Rooter's price was more than fair. I called them around 3PM to tell them they could return and install their water heater. They returned the next morning with a top line heater that I would have never been able to replace had I gone to Home Depot or Lowes plus the labor. I really enjoyed the experience. I'm not good with plumbing. The plumber, Hutch, took a great deal of time to explain to me everything he was doing in a manner that I could follow along. I highly recommend Rescue Rooter. Once again, they've proved very reliable, knowledgeable and friendly.

My wife answered the door. Evidently, he was a very personable man that was focused on fixing our problems. My wife can be a bit "persistent". She was on his heels every step of the way. He came up with a bid that was fair. But it was a little high. The Rescue Rooter plumber listened to my wife and they came up with a Plan B. He implemented Plan B and unclogged the drain. Plan B was considerably less than Plan A. As he was walking out, he saw my irrigation system and said to my wife "I can fix that." She said all she needed was the kitchen sink unclogged. When I got home, she told me the whole story and I was glad I consulted with Angie's List. The problem he said he'd fix wasn't a problem. At least, not a problem on MY property. About 4 weeks later, I had an irrigation problem (that would be TONIGHT). I will call Rescue Rooter to fix my outdoor irrigation problem before the Winter. Great Company. Great Customer Service. Great Work.

I used many plumbing service providers, but Rescue Rooter did a good job. I will give "D" for price.

The process went smoothly. The technician was able to clear the clog. After taking a look at the sewer line with a camera, he recommended redoing the line in the future and pointed out problems due to its age and in the way the original line was put in. He left an estimate for redoing the line plus a couple less expensive options which would probably work for the short term.

I was disappointed that they did not provide any covering for my carpets or floor. My kitchen floor was filthy after multiple trips in and out. I covered my carppet with towels after sdeeing the mess in my kitchen. Other companies I've used have ued a "drop clothe" to protect the floors. The tech called his Manager to come and look at the camera results. They agreed that my pipe had "bellied"and would need to be replaced. I was there to see the camera going through the line and they never stopped the camera to show where the problem was. The cost to remove a section of sidewalk and replace the pipe,as well as installing a plastic sheath inside the existing pipe was going to be $8500. After they left, I called the water companyand was told that they location they had pointed out would be low risk for a pipe problem. Inlooking at my account, they mentioned that in 1995, the same company had replaced a section of pipe in 1995. I remembered the exdperience and realized that they had done the ssame thing - tech cleaned line then manager was called. In 1995, they totally misrepresented what they were going to do and what they did. They had wanted $3000 but settled for $1000 because I threatened to sue them. I'm in the process of getting another company to run a camera through the line to see if there is actually a problem.

They came out the same day we called. That is about this only good thing I can say about them. We called because we had a leak on the main floor, dripping through to the basement. The first plumber came out and said that it was the overflow device on the bathtub. He, however, did not fix it. Told us to call a hot tub person because he didn't have the appropriate tools. That didn't fix it. The second guy came out and said it was the caulking around the tub. He, however, did not fix caulk it before he left. After $450, the leak is worse. And they took our money and did NOTHING!

I feel that their company is very good although I did not have a lot to do with them. They were personable and did what they said they were going to do. I will use them again in the future.

They did an excellent job. They arrived on time, performed excellent work. They arrived when they said they would and had the work finished in the time they said it would take them. I paid exactly the estimate they gave me. There were no "extra" charges applied.

They were very prompt with when they said they are going to be here. They explained the process of what needed to be done. It was completed within the timeframe they gave us. There is nothing that they would need to improve upon. Their prices are average.

As usual, they were prompt, courteous and very professional. The job took a while (maybe 5-6 hours during the day, plus an hour or so the next day), but they had a lot of personnel working on it -- it would have been a lot slower with fewer guys on the job. They explained everything in detail, and were happy to answer questions.

The problem was a dripping shower head. I chose this company because we had had a very good experience with the earlier repair plumbers that they had on three previous occasions sent out to our house. The quality of work done by these men was excellent and the prices we paid for these repairs were very reasonable. However this time, I was told that I would have two choices, the first would be to replace the "valve" cartridges only for about $350 but the chances would be that the rest of the two handled "valve" was old and could still cause problems and that even if this replacement seemed to solve the problem that it would only have a one month guarantee. Instead, he strongly recommended a $961 total, one year guaranteed, replacement of the 2 handle shower "valve". When I asked if it would be possible to try the cartridge replacement first to see if it would work before deciding to choose the much more expensive option he warned me that there would be an additional $175 dollar charge if the leak wasn't repaired by a simple cartridge replacement and a total "valve" replacement was still needed. Reluctantly, I told him I would take the gamble for the more expensive repair but that I wanted to see if the rest of the "valve" was as corroded as he felt it must be given its age. He removed the old "valve" and while I was in another room he left the house with it without telling me why. With all of our water turned off, after over an hour I called the company to find out what was going on. They told me that he had gone to "get parts" for the second time. He arrived back just as I was leaving the house at 6:00 for a required task. (I had earlier tried to change the day of the repair because I was not sure that he could finish the job before I had to leave that night for an important meeting but he insisted that he could do it in the remaining time before the meeting.) Finishing my first task, I returned home at 6:30 where I had to wait until he finished his work at 7:30. As a result I missed the first 45 minutes of an important meeting. (His excuse for the long delay in coming back was that he had been caught in a traffic jam due to an accident.) When I asked him why the price for this repair was so much more than I had earlier paid for the earlier repairs (for example, $379.50 for the removal of a bursting water softener and the installation of a new cut-off valve), he told me that it would require more time and was more difficult to do. However, the previous repair people had also had some major difficulties and spent at least as much time before fixing their problems as had another plumber who only charged us $600 for a new water heater and its installation. Finally, I was never shown the old "valve" to see if I had paid the extra $600 for nothing.

It was a big project. Someone had broken our sewer line installing something else. They took pictures of it and told that they would back me if I went to the court. It was very nice of them and they were very helpful.They were good.

The repairman was very professional and informative. He did an excellent job repairing the problem especially since he had to deal with corroded, very old connecting pipes. We have also had excellent luck with this company in the past when two old fashioned drum traps needed replacement.

I was satisfied. I would have been happier if there was a bigger root issue; they performed a camera inspection after the rooter. It would have been more satisfying if they had video inspected before and after for the same price.

Found basement flooded, called for service around 9:30 pm. Prompt arrival and survey of issues. Work completed in timely manner. Technician was professional and cleaned up when he was finished. There have been no issues since having the work done.

We used this company many years ago and had a very good experience, so when our basement floor drain started backing up after the washer emptied, I called and scheduled an appointment for first thing the next morning. The serviceman showed up right on time and explained the options, prices and guarantees. He was efficient and cleaned up afterwards. The drain is running perfectly now, and I hope it will be many more years before it has to be done again.

The toilet downstairs, they put a new connector in, and two weeks later, there was a leak in the connector and it leaked all over the drywall. I called them to advise them of the issue. They did offer to refund my money but they were not willing to cover charges to fix the issue brought on by their mistake. They ended up hiring a handyman subcontractor to repair the damage.

Wonderful job!! He arrived within 2 hours of my phone call. The man, Ross, educated me on how to prevent this from happening again. He was clean and was very patient with all my questions.

They left a mess and left the carpet dirty and soaked with sewer water. They did not do any clean up. I thought that for the price that I had to pay, they would have cleaned even a little.

They did a good job, and their prices were fair. We have had no problem since they were here.

I would recommend them to friends and family. They gave an estimate and the final price was exactly that. They also performed the work the same day that they gave the estimate. They did a commendable job.

I WOULD SAY MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY IS WORRISOME AND I DONT HAVE PIECE OF MIND. PROBLEMS ARE STILL OCCURRING AND THEY DONT KNOW WHY AND STILL CHARGE ME.
