Sprinkler Master (West Jordan)

**Avoid this company!** I was given an estimate of $340-$455 to complete some sprinkler work after the tech came out and looked at the yard and ran the sprinklers to see what the coverage was like. They came out and did the work and then I received an invoice for $895. ***!?!? There was never any mention when the techs arrived that the price will have to be increased to complete the job. There was never any conversation that the job or parts cost had changed from when they came out originally and gave me the estimate. The estimate was for 3-4 hours of labor which was $255-$340. That didn’t detail if it was 1 tech or 10. I was never told that now that 2 techs showed up to do the work that the labor was really now 6-8 hours. After the job was complete and the techs were leaving they told me that the labor cost was $85 for each of them. I told them about the price I was estimated and they just said oh it will be more than that. Later that night I received the invoice for $895. I also found out that Sprinkler Master who I had read the reviews for and hired (I thought) was really in fact Dr Sprinkler. The company is fake, the estimate was fake and Jay Auvigne (the owner) is an absolute crook! He did come down in price after I refused to pay double what they had estimated without prior approval. Not good enough and I want to make sure that no one else gets caught up in this scam!

I would highly recommend Jay at Sprinkler Master to anyone needing repairs. He was quick and honest and a joy to work with. He will be on my list of preferred providers going forward and his customer service is second to none.
