RKD Tile does an exceptional job! Rob was great to work with, as were his entire crew! Although we felt the work was exceptional, we have been pleasantly surprised to keep getting compliments from other workers as they look at our new home, and they are amazed at how beautiful the tile work is. We have had others tell us they haven't seen such a good tile job as this one. Rob and his team were quick to make suggestions and were absolutely the best to work with. We will recommend RKD Tile to everyone.

I contacted RKD Tile on June 21st and left a detailed voicemail of the services I would need and how to contact me. I never heard back so I called again on June 29th and they actually picked up with phone. He let me know they are not taking on any new work until August. This time frame actually would have been fine but the fact that they couldn't pick up the phone to let me know this beforehand is absolutely ridiculous. I will never contact this company again.

Rob was excellent to work with and was accommodating to our overall schedule. We got several quotes and his pricing is VERY competitive when you consider his workmanship and professionalism. Both jobs were completed on time and as expected. Rob provided us with an eloquent solution a threshold problem we had as well as providing some insight on grout selection. I would highly recommend RKD Tile and will most certainly be using them again for our next remodel project

I was very impressed by how wonderful Rob was to work with. My schedule was crazy and I ended up needing to reschedule and communicate with him multiple times. He was always very patient and kind and responded promptly. Steve (who did the installation) was amazing. Great attention to detail and wonderful work. He was very kind and polite and cute with my kids and their endless questions. I will definitely be using RKD Tile in the future and highly recommend them.

Rob Dean was excellent, from his responsiveness to my initial call to coming out for an estimate to providing a bid. I met with several tile companies and he stood out from the rest as being professional, customer-oriented and eager to please. Although he and his team do large projects, he still treated my small project with professional courtesy. I found him easy to talk to, very collaborative and responsive to my time needs. He provided a conscientious estimate quickly and was great in following up. The reason that I didn't use him for this small job is that I hope to use him for a much larger project when we remodel the kitchen

Rob was very flexible and worked their schedule out so that our job could be done on the same day as another small job and we would be charged less. The backsplash looks great.

It went great, Rob and the crew arrived promptly to all appointments and on each day of the installation. They were professional, very talented tile setters and took pride in their work. For example, the shelves and bench aren't just the typical two pieces of tile stuck together on a diagonal in the corner. They are two pieces of tile with another piece sandwiched between, that really give them substance. They are finished off with about a 2 inch trim piece cut from the tile. The corners of the shelves are cut at a 45 degree angle. The trim pieces are mitered at the corners. The travertine has very distinct patterns and they took the time to really think about how each piece was set and how it would look when finished, this also minimized waste. They kept the entire work area, inside and outside, very clean and organized. Before leaving at the end of the day, the work area was picked up and vacuumed. They were very respectful of our home. Anytime there was a question, they consulted with us on how we would like it done. In addition, they gave us options if there was more than one way of doing it. We are very happy with the finished product and would definitely refer to friends and family and would use them again for future needs.

Prior to meeting Rob, we experienced a terrible blow when a contractor came and over laid half of product down, which we paid for, in less than a day. The previous contractor?s work was out of square and not level at all. His joints were wide and uneven. Not at all how travertine should look. He also incorrectly leveled living room floor by incorrectly using a self-leveling liquid. We lived without a floor for nearly 6 weeks until we found RKD Tile. After much deliberation about trying to salvage the floor or to start new, we decided to start the entire project over. Rob demolished the previous contractor?s botched work, sanded and floated the floor, and laid tile with great care and perfection. Rob was professional, patient, and kind friend through an upsetting time. Rob provided me with the floor I dreamed of having and I love it to this day. We receive positive comments on his work every time someone new walks into our home and other bidding contractors ask us for his contact information. I will definitely call Rob again for future tile work.

The company was very professional, punctual, and finished when they said they would. The tile looks great. Very pleased.

Robb came and gave me an estimate. We worked out details and gave him the job. We paid him part of the money at the time or ordering materials and then more when the tile arrived. More than half of the entire cost was labor and this was not paid until the job was completed. The job went just as expected. If there was any problem, I heard about it immediately. Robb provided many hints about how to make the job look better and we took many of them. I would highly recommend Robb and his company.

RKD Tile Inc were great to work with. They worked in my tight time frame. They were prompt and clean in their work. I had a very tricky mosaic tile and he did a great job on it.

Every aspect of his work was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better experieince. He came out promptly to give us a bid for the job. While there, he pointed out issues in the floor that the other companies hadn't noticed and explained how he would handle it. While he wasn't the least expensive, we were left feeling like he was the only one who recognized the issues we faced and how to solve them without leaving us with an undesirable outcome. Our house is older and had been added on to at different times, so there were lots of uneven areas to cope with. He addressed them all beautifully. By the end of the job, we were so pleased with his work and work ethic, that we invited him and his family over for a dinner celebration of the new kitchen and floor. He felt like family to us. Rob is a "salt of the earth" good guy. He is honest, hard working, and very professional. I wasn't surprised as he worked for us to learn that his work is featured in interior designer magazines. He can do the most basic work, but he is an artist with tile, too. I was stunned when I saw his portfolio on his website and felt bad he was stuck with such a boring job. But, he insisted he loves all tile work. We love his work, too. You can see his it on his website and in most of the displays at Bedrosians in Salt Lake City. He has about 25 years experience and knows how handle tough situations such as ours along with the normal.
