+ 0 moreIt went well. Now I do not have to worry about heating problems this winter as well as sprinklers going on during the winter. Kevin is a real problem solver when it comes to heating and plumbing issues.
Description of Work: I have had John Bess and now Kevin Darby Heating and Plumbing provide heating and plumbing services for me for many years. Kevin winterized my furnace and turned off my sprinkler system.

Description of Work: You cannot do better than John Bess Plumbing and Heating. John actually sold his business a while back but the owner now is just as wonderful. I have been impressed with his extensive knowledge of heating systems, and he takes care of our plumbing problems quickly and at a very good price. I could not be happier and would highly recommend to anyone.

+ -1 moreWe've used John Bess Plumbing (which was taken over by Kevin Darby, a former partner of John's) for literally, the past 25 years. We live in an historic (hysteric) victorian home and have only received excellent, timely service. Strongly recommend using this locally owned business.
Description of Work: Analyzed problem with gas furnace which turned out to be a loose wire. Discussed how this happened, how to correct it if it happens again, and a couple of other items to add to a routine maintenance schedule. Prompt, efficient, professional and affordable service.

Description of Work: Re-plumbed an entire old Victorian home that was completely gutted. Kevin figured out how to make things work within our configuration that other plumbers were not able to figure out. His bid was competitive and his crew was excellent and Kevin checked on the work regularly.

+ 1 moreMy homeowners insurance paid for the service. Everyone was professional, thorough, and cleaned up well. However, my lawn was not the same because he dug up my yard in January. I am planning to use his services again soon.
Description of Work: John did a big job for me. I had water escaping the ground up to my driveway. Something was broken. He had to tear up my lawn, tear up the floor in my living room, and my bathroom door.

+ 0 moreI trust him. He does good work and I trust his prices. My sister has gone to him and everything has always been good. I don't know the price yet but I imagine it will be good. He delayed one week but it was somebody else. Whenever he has come, he has been right on time.
