The project went extremely well. The subcontractors had all worked with Al on many jobs. Each subcontractor appeared on time, Al did significant portions of the work himself and kept tabs on everyone else. Al has a terrific manner, and when one of the subcontractors made an error (possibly because of poor lighting at that stage) Al saw that it was fixed immediately. In general, the project went as close to like clockwork as one has any right to expect. The project did come in $250 higher than the original estimate, but that was because of a problem that was not apparent until the walls were removed. There were several solutions, and I chose the $250 option before it was done.
Description of Work: Complete bathroom remodel. The old plaster walls were removed and everything was remodeled new fixtures, lights, ceramic and porcelain tile, and a medicine cabinet. Note that the cost was for the work and did not include fixtures or materials. I, the homeowner, paid for all materials, except tile mastic and grout, in addition to the cost stated. It was a major remodel.
