Davenport Foundation Repair

I contacted Kenny because of a crack in my foundation that had developed since the company had raised my foundation a year ago. Kenny arrived to assess the problem and recommended a special sealant to fill the crack. He said he could do it free of charge. He came to do the repair but unfortunately the end of his caulking gun broke off. It was late in the afternoon and he said he was booked solid until next week. He then contacted two of his co-workers, Jake and Bradley to see if they could come the next morning. They showed up the next morning and had the job completed in about 10 minutes. Good work! !

The person who booked my appointment was nice . And the representive was on time . He was to email me a bid . But I never got one so I called a few days later and they said they would have him send it . I never got my bid . I don't know why they wasted everyones time and did not send the bid . I would not hire this business .

Excellent. Everything from bid to procedure went great. They even told me where it wouldn't work.

Initial quote was $400. Total came out to almost $4000! However, the company worked with me and got the price down significantly. However, the should do a better job with their estimates. The 2 men that did the work were excellent and also agreed that the estimator should have provided better numbers. We ended up adding another section to be done because we were happy with the service despite the price.

I restored a house built in the late 1800's. The house had a dozen different companies working on the house from the ground up. Davenport was the best company I had the pleasure of working with. From price, speed, to quality of their craft I was so impressed!! Not only that they were fun to work with. I felt like I was a friend and not just another client. I would suggest you chose to work with them too. I'm so happy with the results!!

It was good. The guys that did the work were very courteous and professional. I thought they did a very good job of cleaning up after their work.

Original bid was $6,400. Paid half in deposit. A month later it magically went to $31,150. It took 2 months and threatening legal action to get our deposit back.

Excellent service, care, and clean up. They took time to explain what the problem was, what they could do to fix it, how they would fix it, and what the result would be. I haven't had a leak since.

Davenport was the cheapest by several hundred dollars among the 3 estimates I got, and also promised to do the most extensive amount of work, as well as providing a 7 year guarantee. They were punctual and friendly, and the finished work appears to be very professional.

No service performed. They were prompt and responsive to get us a bid. We ended up not purchasing the property involved, but were very pleased with their service and would go to them again for a bid and use them if we were to go through with the deal.

Initial specialist who inspected the wall was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Did a thorough inspection and provided advice to repair our specific problem with this carbon strapping and epoxy system. I also called in a second company for an inspection and they ultimately gave the same advice. Went with Davenport because the price was less than half of the other, and came with a warranty. We finally called in a structural engineer, just to confirm this was the best repair option and there were no other issues involved. The install team arrived right on time this morning. They were quick and the job appears to be done well. Hope this will be the end of our foundation issues.

Provider did nothing. Sent email and picture of damage and project and no response.

Davenport was professional and efficient from start to finish. They responded quicker than their competitors to our bid request. Our home was a somewhat complicated case to because the cracks in the walls and sticky doors were in the front half of the house even though it was the back half that was sinking. Nevertheless, the Davenport representative quickly diagnosed the problem and provided a detailed bid in two days. The initial Davenport bid was higher than a second bid we received from a competitor, but Davenport was willing to match this second bid. We ultimately received a bid from a third company that was even lower, but we went with Davenport because of the level of quality we perceived they could provide and the fact that it is a longstanding business that is likely to continue (meaning the 25-year warranty would mean something). The job took 4 days to complete and was done on time. The crew was professional and did their best to protect our lawn and sprinklers while digging around the foundation. When I called their office with a question, they contacted the job foreman and he called me back immediately. Ron Davenport, the company owner, showed up during the critical lifting process, double-checked the measurements, and also did some of the manual labor, so that gives me confidence that he is focused on getting things right and hasn't strayed from the company's roots. Once the equipment was in place, the lifting process itself only took a few minutes. It was like a miracle watching all the cracks in the walls close. Even though it was an expensive repair, it is such a relief to have a stable foundation now after living with the problem for many years.

Davenport came quickly to look over the problem, we received a bid within 5 days, and were able to schedule the repair within a week. They came on time, completed the work in one day, and cleaned up after the area. We would use them again.
