They gave me what I thought was a good price, but I should have been leary from there. While it is my own fault that I went out of town while they did the work, I came home to find a patio that sloped SEVERELY toward my house. Any time it rained or snowed my back room would flood. I'm no concrete contractor, but even I know that you don't slope a patio INTO a house. I tried over and over to get them to come to my house to look at it, and they essentially gave me the run-around and eventually just disappeared altogether. These people are crooks, and do shoddy work. BEWARE. I did my due diligence and looked up the license to be sure there weren't any complaints. Believe me, there will be one after this. I had to pay to have the entire thing ripped out and done over, doubling what I should have paid for a good job in the first place.
Description of Work: They were supposed to level a portion of my back yard and pour a concrete pad.

To be honest, I wasn't extremely pleased with the quality of the work. When they brought the bobcat in they took a chunk of the fence out and when I confronted the owner he claimed that there was always a chunk of fence missing and I just probably never noticed. They were quick about starting the work and worked hard to get things done, but instead of going out and buying new rain gutter material or asking me to get some, they just ripped it off the other side of my house and then gave me a lame excuse when I asked them about it. The cement didn't have as many lines as it should have so it started to crack shortly after it was poured and there are a few spots where it didn't get completely smooth and it's bumpy. After all the work was done it took a lot of prodding to get them to come and clean up the mess they made on my lawn and on the street. On the positive side, I have a very picky mean neighbor that treated them very poorly. They washed his fence to be nice too.
Description of Work: First they removed a bunch of dirt from the pouring area. They also leveled and compacted the area for cement and then brought in some gravel stuff to go underneath the cement. I had them bury the rain gutter spouts and then fill in some low spots in the yard where the ground had settled. They had cement trucks come and pour concrete and then they smoothed it out and made line in it. Once the cement was done, they cleaned up the mess and power washed my fence to remove any specs of cement from it.

WELL, LIKE THEY SAY, THERE IS ALWAYS TWO SIDES OF THE STORY. THANK MEMBER FOR HER RESPONSE TO OUR BUSINESS. FENCE ISSUE WAS NEVER BROUGHT UP IN ANY OUR CONVERSATIONS, THE LINES IN THE CONCRETE WERE INSTALLED OR GROVED IN UNLESS YOU WANT A STRIPED LOOKING DRIVEWAY. CONCRETE IS NEVER GUARANTEED IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AT ALL, IT IS BOUND TO CRACK AT ANYTIME. YOU TALKED BAD ABOUT YOUR NEIGHBOUR MORE THAN HE TALKED TO US.....J/K. THANK YOU AGAIN AND WE PROBABLY WOULDN'T WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU EITHER.

Concrete King was a nightmare. We were excited about the price that was quoted to us, but we were told we needed to put up half of the cost upfront and that was our mistake. They never contacted us and have never done a single thing! NEVER USE THEM!
