They are skilled craftsmen and provided excellent service. Gary was great at communicating exactly what would be done, how it would look, and even offered ideas that turned out to be better than I had proposed. He met expectations for when he would arrive and when the work would be completed. It was a fabulous experience. I highly recommend Clark's Custom Tile and would definitely use them again in the future.

Clark's did a very nice job laying the tile and picking out the grout. Father and son worked in tandem. Once the project got started in went very quickly. Very satisfied with the results.

Clark's Custom Tile was my lowest bid but not the most organized or on top of things. So I ended up not going with them. He didn't seem to hear me. He kept forgetting my name and didn't hear me to be quiet because my child was in the other room sleeping. So that told me that there would be communication issues. Otherwise, he seems very competent and low in price but I didn't want to go with them because of communication issues.

This tiler was highly rated on Angie's List and pictures of his work were exquisite. I would like to preface this review by saying there were extenuating circumstances in the tiler's life which added to the difficulty of meeting him to get an estimate. I set up an appointment to meet with him and took the morning off work. I waited and approximately 2 hours past the agreed on time, he called to say he had a dentist appointment that afternoon. I had called my job and had to make special arrangements to take the morning off because we were short staffed and co-workers had to juggle their schedules around to accommodate me. So, the tiler never showed up that day and we rescheduled another day and time. I went on to work that afternoon. The tiler was late for the second appointment but my husband met with him on the agreed date and my husband showed him a sample of tile that we had chosen for the tub surround. The tiler said the tile was too thin and was not a good choice. The tiler said he would have a written estimate shortly and would be in touch with us. The written estimate never materialized and we didn't hear from the tiler for a few weeks. We then got a call from the tiler saying he had lost his address book and had not been able to call us because he didn't have our name or telephone number. He said he would provide us with an estimate shortly. Several more weeks went by and he finally left a message on my answer machine saying he had been in an auto accident and had a concussion. He may have asked me to call him the following week or he was going to call me. I never called him and we have not heard from him since.

Sean and Gary did a wonderful job on my shower. They are punctual, professional, skilled and fun! The bid was low for the work they did. They spent several days on this job. They did the following: completely gutted the shower, put in a new shower pan , recemented the shower , installed new tile Their work is absolutely beautiful!! The Clarks install kitchens and bathrooms for the top showrooms in town, like Roth Concepts at Foothill Village. I completely trust them. I had to leave during the day for work and didn't hesitate leaving them alone in my home. I wouldn't hire anyone else. They are very reasonably priced and true professionals.

Perfect from start to finish!! I have a $750,000 home in Federal Heights and wanted someone with a lot of experience. Gary Clark did Karl Malone's house in my neighborhood, so I gave him a shot. He spent a considerable amount of time looking for the exact tile I wanted. I had seen his spectacular work at Roth Kitchen Design Center and they provided me with his name. It is my understanding that he designs the kitchens for other high-end kitchen showrooms as well. Gary and Sean, his son, showed up five minutes early to start the job. They worked non-stop the first day and finished the second day. They told me each step of the way what they were doing and why. They wanted my input on several options for the edge, which turned out beautifully. IT IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!! They were so excited about it, they even took pictures. I would not hesitate recommending Gary and Sean to anyone--they know their craft, they are kind and reasonably priced. They are coming back to install a new shower and do all of the tile work involved. In the future, I wouldn't consider anyone else. Glad I found them!
