Beehive Plumbing

Although the service provider was very prompt in both communication and arrival and the work was done as outlined, the pricing on a per/hour basis is ridiculous. I priced out the three parts used which at retail would not exceed $150. The time to perform the three repairs took the plumber 1.5 hrs. That’s $600 for 1.5 hours of work or $400/hr.! Being in the residential trade business myself, charging my clients a fair hourly rate plus materials has kept me in business for over 17 years. Had I been able to find an available, independent plumber, charging a reasonable $120-$150/hr rate, my bill would have been around $375. I will keep looking for that trusted, independent plumber - not one of these larger companies that employ multiple people, pay for expensive advertising and a fleet of trucks!

It went very well. When I first called, they were kind enough to give me some troubleshooting ideas to try and fix it myself to avoid having to pay to have it repaired. Unfortunately it needed a new part so I wasn't able to fix it but I appreciated the gesture just the same. He was extremely kind and friendly. I would definitely use them again!

Matt arrived yesterday promptly at 9:00 am and gave me an estimate of $ 800.00 for repair. Appointment was set for the next morning at 9:00 am. Again, he arrived on time and began digging. Part way down he encountered a tree stump I had forgotten about. He checked with the office, taking a picture and consulting. The faucet is right next to the side walk. It looked as though he had no way to access the pipes without either digging down using an excavator, which would have to be rented or removing part of the sidewalk. Weber water is often several feet underground so in order to access it a hole several feet deep would have to be made. An excavator was unavailable, so I chose to have part of the sidewalk removed. The estimate rose to $ 1600.00 due to unknown factors, equipment rental and piping. A jack hammer was rented and the work begun. It was soon discovered that the Weber Water inlet was actually fairly shallow however five leaks were discovered that had been unforeseen. The piping was replaced and new faucets installed. The water was turned on for a good half hour with no new leaks. The sidewalk chunks were removed from the property and grass sections replaced. Though the deep hole had not been required, that had only been discovered by removing the section of sidewalk--an unavoidable necessity. However, discovering and replacing piping that had not been known was done at no extra cost beyond the estimate. While I would have liked to spend less on this work (who doesn't?) the quality is excellent. Matt and Tim stayed to make sure everything was as it should be. They even added a couple of connector rings to my older hoses. I will have to hire a contractor to restore the sidewalk section, but considerable care was taken to make the cuts smooth (as much as is possible). I'm glad to have this annoying problem fixed. The $ 1600.00 price tag stings a little, but I am confident the leaks they fixed would have to be fixed sooner or later, and probably cutting the sidewalk would be necessary again, so from that standpoint, I feel all right. Both men were courteous, professional and thorough. I have used Beehive plumbing in the past and will most likely use them in the future.

I spent Sunday morning trying to locate a plumber who could come out to thaw pipes to the house. Finally got Beehive/Quick Response Plumbing. They had someone here within the hour. Scott worked diligently to thaw the pipes, going out of his way to make sure it was we understood what he was doing. (He was using an electric thawing device). He had to leave to take another job but came back and saw that pipes where cleared.

They’re very prompt and inexpensive. They’re thorough as well. I will use them again in the future.

It went very well.

The lawn care people arrived first. They immediately identified the valve area (I suppose from the photos) and went to work. As they reached the valve, I saw the plumber make a call, and a few minutes later a truck arrived with specific piping. The changes were made quickly following that. He tested the water flow. It was considerably improved. He called me out to show me what had been done, where the problem had been in the pipe. They also replaced an elbow that had been deep in the ground and brought it close to the surface so that if any work would be needed years down the road, it could be done easily and efficiently. Not only did they replace the piping needed in good time, but they blew the pipe clear of small debris as a service and cleaned up beyond the dirt they had to dig up to reach the valve area. Everything was neat and tidy--a fact, I'm sure, that was appreciated by my neighbor. The final cost met the estimate perfectly. I feel like these people really know their stuff! They are cordial and demonstrate honesty and consideration. Like everyone in today's economy I would have liked the price a little lower, but their work and attitude was worth it to me.

They did a good job all the way around. The service was fast. They were accurate with their quote. It was exactly what they said it would be. The price was reasonable.

He was good. He was really upfront and gave me all the information. He was very outgoing and very friendly. He seemed honest and was very professional. He came that day and was very responsive.

They were great. They were on time and I was comfortable with the rep that they sent. They provided all the information that we needed and worked quickly. We had a home warranty and therefore didn?t have to pay anything. Everything about their service was great.

I called yesterday. The young woman who answered the phone was courteous and informed. This is so important. It's the first impression a customer gets, and she was great. I think her name is Lindsay. They could have come out that very day, but I scheduled for 8:30 the next morning. They were on time, courteous, professional, and helpful. They came in, saw the problem, fixed the problem, and were gone.

Beehive responded to my call promptly and showed up on time. They adjusted their schedule to mine as I had to be flexible due to a tub resurfacing project.

I've used Beehive 3 different times. Each time they were fantastic. Tom knows his stuff, and is very honest. I own 4 different rental properties in Davis County, and if I need a plumber, I wouldn't hesitate to call Beehive.

I am very satisfied with Bee Hive. They were very willing to listen, to what issues I was having with the drains and did not just come in and say "Oh it must be this...". They also used slippers when entering my home. They are a very great company.

I was happy with the work that was done. My waterheater is working great. I was surprised at how expensive it was. The year before I had the same type of work done for one-half of the price.
