River Bottom Construction

I hired Wayne Rudd owner of Rock Bottom Construction to build a foundation and pour the floor for a 3 car garage. I signed a simple plan contract and Wayne required 1/2 of the $16,500 up front. Many things were not done to my satisfaction. First no Hurricane ties were installed in the concrete foundation. these were on the blue prints. Wayne installed the bathroom sewer drain only 15 inches below the ground, Hyrum city code is 32 inches we had to argue over this, but his moved it., I asked about the amount of re bar to be installed in the floor. I did not specify the amount in the blue prints. Rebar was on the job site and Wayne told me it would be installed. I asked him not to pour the concrete if it was likely to Rain. He poured the floor without the Rebar. had to cover the concrete. The FINISHED CONCRETE IS AWFUL. there are foot prints in the finished floor. the finish is not smooth, and there are tarp marks all over. I HAVE WRITTEN A LETTER asking what he plans to do about his foot prints in the concrete. I have never heard back. Please call ME Wayne. 801-645-6718

Very happy with the removal of pantry and installation of sliding door. We did have a slight issue with the original quote. Sizing, etc were not specified. I assumed a 6' door and he said he quoted 5', adding $200+ to the quote.
