Jake came out, nice guy, and fixed it temporarily, at a steep price of $1,100. That's fine, it was the weekend. The problem is when it was plugged again in 3 days, they asked for $129 to come out again to take a look. Seriously, what kind of amateurs don't follow through with their service. Absolutely don't recommend, find another company that is more reputable.

Everything went great! They were punctual and answered all of my questions. Overall very professional, competent, and reasonably priced.

This is the second time I've used Triple T. I think their service is excellent. Kudos to Lance for great communication. I was pleased with the work. You might pay a little more, but I believe the service and results are worth it.

The service man was right on time and very helpful and courteous. He checked out the things I needed, explain to me what was going on, and then fixed them. He had everything he needed with him so I didn't have to wait for another appointment for repairs. I really liked that I contacted them and they had someone out to my house the next day. Very impressed, I have used them before for my water heater and heater and will use them again in the future.

As far as installation, everything went extremely well. No additional cost, no hiccups - the contractor stuck to the original bid amount. If I had selected another manufacture, the total cost of the unit's replacement would have been less, but I chose specifically American Standard - (Trane) - which is best in breed. I am an extremely meticulous person when it comes to buying consumer products, let alone major investments. I spent weeks and weeks researching on the internet, as well as brought in many different contractors to provide bids. Without a doubt, Triple T Plumbing, Heating and Air was the most thorough, knowledgeable, and cost conscious of all. One other company with good Angie's list credibility was in contention, but the cost savings with Triple T amounted to $1400 less than this candidate. The only difference was 13 SER vs. 14 SER in this price calculation - with all things being the same. Besides pricing, two things made me confident in regards to this company. First off, Jason, was the only person to do a thorough inspection of my attic infrastructure. He went up on my roof 3 times as well. He also proposed that I switch to gas for heating. Although this was recommended by one other company - it wasn't pushed as the "no brainer" option. When I told him I wanted American Standard, he immediately accommodated and got me a quote within minutes. The bottom line - I was impressed with not just his knowledge, but his overall approach to quality. I learned that as an example a $50-$60 tune-up is a joke when it comes to A/C maintenance. With that being said, the level of professionalism was great, and forthright from beginning to end. The only other thing I can add in regards to the review of this contractor, is INTEGRITY. Throughout the entire process, there was always an open transparency. Possible factors and contingencies were always discussed thoroughly. Triple T Plumbing, Heating and Air has been operating since the 1970s. It is a family owned and run business. Jason, who's father started the company, emphasized the importance of their reputation, and although he didn't come out and say it, my guess is honesty is a core value in their business approach. I recently moved to Utah just over two years ago and with little or no connections, only had Angie's list as a reference. I did my homework... and found one of the top notch contractors in Southern Utah for A/C.... My system is working great, and I couldn't be happier. Keep in mind, all research indicates THE INSTALLER / CONTRACTOR is the most critical component in regards to investing in a new A/C-heat unit.

They are good people. It has been good. They have done everything for us in 19 years and I have no complaints. They have been very helpful. They are very reliable and they charge in advance. In between when they come for an emergency, it?s free. That arrangement has been working pretty good. They can also come on a weekend. They also come when they said they would. They know their stuff well.

Jake was great. He showed up right when expected, even with a heavy snowstorm the night before. Before entering our house, he put on some blue disposable slippers over his shoes. From when he arrived to when he finished, we was working and cleaning up all along the way. He answered all my questions and gave me some great tips for maintaining the new water heater. He hauled the new heater downstairs and the old one back up without incident. When discussing their additional services, he didn't try to upsell me. Instead, he just let me know what they offered and how much it would cost and left it at that. He was fabulous, and we are so glad to have a new water heater.

After reading the reviews on Angie's List about Triple T I took advantage of their Angie's List coupon for a furnace tune up. I was very pleased with the office staff who helped schedule the appointment and especially the service technician, Jason, who did the work. He was prompt, professional, and very thorough. He did a great job explaining and showing me my furnace unit and was up front about potential issues with my 13 year old furnace and gave me some recommendations. He recommended replacing a component but did not try to sell me it, but rather explained based on the age of the furnace and component the real possibility of it going out during the winter. The part added $88 to the coupon price, but I feel it was well worth the peace of mind. I appreciated the hands on feel that was provided and the good service Jason provided and his friendly nature. I will use Triple T again.

Most of it went fine. When I called the person doing the scheduling said there would be a service fee of X dollars, the fee they charge to show up, I asked if that would be credited to the bill if they did the work, she confirmed that it would. When the service technician called to inform me what was causing the problem and how much it would be I confirmed with him about the service fee. He was surprised that the girl had said that it would be credited and he didn't think that was the case. Too late for me to not have them show up at this point. Since other companies I have used do. I only called TTT because their sticker was on the furnace. I called to complain and spoke with a guy named Jared and told him what had happened. He called me a liar and said that the girls never say that. He said the he sits next to them and listens to every phone call and they have never said it would be credited, I questioned his ability to listen to multiple phone calls at the same time. Long story short instead of correcting it he chose not to. I informed him we would never use him in the future. He asked my profession before saying that it was ok if we never used him. I sell and manage Real Estate, apparently owning multiple homes and flipping homes (some that need new furnaces) wasn't a big enough deal to him and let me see that they don't seem to be customer friendly unless it can really benefit him. He's now on our blacklist of service providers, by the way the list only has one business on it.

Triple T did a great job. We called several different companies to get bids. Triple T was one of two that actually came out. Their techs did a great job explaining options. It was a basement furnace that ended up requiring some fun duct work. They did a great job and did a good job cleaning up after themselves.

They were very professional and have been called for issues in the past that they have always been quick to repair. They aren't the cheapest out there but they are great to work with. Highly recommend!

They came right away and diagnosed the problem, gave me the options of repair or replace, replace actually being the better, more energy efficient way for me. There was no pressure and I called and asked Lance questions about several things. He made an in home visit to explain all about air conditioners to me and gave me adequate time to decide what I wanted to do. His people came on time to do the installation, and were efficient in doing that. Lance came and checked their work that day, and came in two weeks to again make sure everything was in order. I am very pleased with the result.

When we first moved into this house, the furnace was unsafe. Triple T replaced the furnace, provided a credit plan and have maintained the furnace for the last nine years. They are neat, clean up after themselves and punctual. I highly recommend them.

The whole job went fantastic. The only problems that happened were not their fault. The problems always had to do with other professionals that weren't doing or didn't do their job right.

Another company quoted me $1,400 and it didn't include the regulator. It is an American Standard water heater. They have done a good job for me.

We called them and they took a few days too get here. They worked on our furnace and needed to order a part, so we had to wait a few more days. Everything seems to be working fine now.

Our furnace stopped working, and obviously Angies is the first place I go to look for a reputable company. Wow! Lots of 'A' grades for Heating Contractors. So I start call of few of them, but it's shortly after 5 PM, so I get the answering service. I end up leaving messages for two different companies, both of which called me a bit over an hour later. All good--after hours; cold weather; companies are busy. Both companies quote me the same price on after hour service calls. I decide to wait until tomorrow and just use space heaters for the night. However, after talking with the Triple T tech (who helped me identify that it's a burned out fuse), I decide to go get a new fuse to see if that fixes things. He's got a couple other service calls; so he'll call me when he's done and see how things are. Still, all good. I replace the fuse and it goes out immediately. So, I decide to have Triple T come out and diagnose the problem. Very helpful, friendly person. After 20-30 minutes or so, finds that it's a bad thermostat. "Phew!" I think to myself. "That's going to be a lot less than replacing the circuit board." So we go upstairs and he gets out his handy, dandy quote book and says, "It will be $294 for a programmable thermostat installed, or $2xx something for a non-programmable one." (And than't in addition to the $109 service fee I'm already on the hook for.) Confused, I think to myself, "Wait, aren't thermostat's less than $100 bucks. And, if I remember, it doesn't take that long to install." So then I ask the guy, "So how much of that is for the thermostat?" He responds, "I don't know. We work on a fixed price." So, I glance at the book and identify the model of the thermostat he's quoted and tell him I'm going to call my wife and discuss it with her. In the meantime, I check on the internet while I'm calling her and notice that the "$294" thermostat is between $50 and $75 on the internet. So doing the math, I figure I'm paying at least $600 an hour plus the cost of the thermostat. "I think I'll take care of it on my own," I tell the tech. Luckily, a friend of mine brings over an old thermostat to get us through the night and then I go shopping for thermostats the next day. A couple of other companies I call, tell me they charge $99 installed for a 5-1-1 programmable Honeywell thermostat; a little more for an advanced one, but no where near $294. Another company I call is around the same thing for a different brand. Long story short, I will never do business again with Triple T. I am SOOOOO disappointed in Angie's list. I talked with some guys at the local home improvement store and a few other friends of mine and Triple T has the same reputation--overpriced service. Now I know where they get all their money to do so much advertising. How can such a rip-off company (IMHO) have such a great rating?? Here's the definition of robbery: The taking of money or goods in the possession of another, from his or her person or immediate presence, by force or intimidation." IMHO, charging outrageous fees because of someone's circumstances is a form of intimidation and should be considered robbery. Shame on Triple T.

I have nothing but praises to say about this company. They are very professional and do a great job. They are trustworthy and clean up after themselves. My home looks better after they leave than when they came. They also put up with my dog. I completely trusted them to go to my house and complete the jobs needed while I was at work. They were on time, friendly, and their costs were reasonable. I plan on them finishing more work in the backyard in the spring.

The quality of the service was very good.

WE HAVE USED TRIPLE "T" FOR OVER TEN YEARS TO MAINTAIN AND SERVICE OUR FURNACES AND AIR CONDITIONERS. WE HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

Triple T replaced a $250 filter for $100 because I signed up for it the year before. You pay for what you get and we get good quality. I will say that some of the tubing that they put on is tubing but it may be that every company is switching to that. They are very quick to respond and came back very fast when we had a problem one time.
