We were very pleased with Chads work. He is a perfectionist in his work, and tried very hard to meet every one of our many requests and changes. He removed and added walls and constructed two large closets in the new master bedroom. He laid new wood flooring, added cove molding to the ceiling and handled all of painting and touch up work. Two new lights were added in the bedroom and several outlets were changed. Our new bathroom is about three times the size of the original. All of the walls, large shower and jetted tub surrounds are of travertine or ceramic tile. The walls are patterned with travertine mosaic. Chad assisted us in finding new cabinets, toiler, sinks, jetted tub. and mirrors which he installed. The bathroom was completely re plumbed for the new layout. A new skylight was installed and our ceiling and the bathroom was rewired. Chads work was excellent in every way, I could not have asked for a better re-modeler. I would definitely use him for any future work and recommend him highly.

I called Chad to get a bid for a family room in our basement, but he was noncommittal. I asked if he could come out and look at it, but he asked me to give him the measurements so he could provide a bid over the phone. This made me uncomfortable since measurements are only half the picture. When I asked if the job was too small for him he would not come right out and say that, but continued to hem and haw and said he could maybe fit us in between bigger jobs. This gave me the impression that he felt he was doing me a favor. Ultimately, I told him I would call if I was unsatisfied with the other contractors which I had no intention of doing. I suspect that because the market is picking back up in Utah he could be more choosey about the jobs he accepted, but I would have appreciated if he would have said that instead of everything else. You may want to call if you have a large job on the horizon, but for smaller ones they don't seem interested.

We can't say enough good about our experience with this contractor. Chad (the owner) clearly has a passion for his work and it shows. We began the design process by giving him general ideas of what we were looking for and liked. From there they incorporated our ideas into a design that fit. The building process was very smooth. The men building the home were all polite and professional. Chad was also very patient with our many questions that we had during construction. He also provided us with many recommendations on the finer details (colors, tile designs etc.) throughout the process. This advice we would have normally expected to pay for through an actual designer. Project was completed on time and within our budget. SS Builders was an excellent company to work with.

SS Builders does fantastic work. We had pretty high expectations, and not only were they met, but Chad also offered some very professional recommendations along the way. The contractor is very hands on, and possesses the knowledge and expertise to stand behind his guarantee of ‘exceptional quality and honest workmanship.’ I would highly recommend the services of SS Builders. They provide good quality work and completed our job within the agreed timeline.
