 + -1 moreHe was there within 20 minutes of my phone call and stayed til I was done asking questions. He also checked another plumbing issue with a drinking fountain and didn't charge me. He's personable and friendly, knows his business.
Description of Work: He came and evaluated what I thought was a leaky water heater. He diagnosed a leaking water softener and referred me to someone who would be able to fix it.

 + -1 moreExcellent work, prompt service , good price and nice guarantee on his work. He is willing to give a bid and stick by it.
Description of Work: Layne repaired a couple of sinks and toilets, and installed a specialty plumbing device that was very complex. He was professional, friendly and completed the job very well. He found ways to save us money on parts and left the site very clean and tidy. He also stands behind his work 100%, and in one instance in the past when I used him, came back and tweaked a job that needed it. I highly recommend him to anyone interested. He gave us a bid and in fact charged slightly less than the bid, to my surprise.

 + -1 moreLayne first fixed a long-standing leak in a spot that was very difficult to access. He did it with no disruption to the cupboard and wall that surrounded the leaking pipe. We had feared this by itself would be a many hundred dollar repair, but thanks to Layne's skill it was only $125. Then he purchased, picked up and installed a 40 gallon hot water heater and a water expansion tank for us. The price of the water heater, expansion tank and installation was $500. He finished it all in a single afternoon. We would never again hire anyone else.
