Horrible! When the salesman, Danny, came to my home, I showed him the blinds I currently have for the front section of my home and said I wanted to match those. He said ok and then told me they had a wood blind that was a better product than what I already have, faux wood. I trusted he would take care of me. WRONG! I ordered the blinds and they seemed expensive to me, but we needed to get them soon because our contractor promised we would be moving in the next weekend. I should have gone with my gut instinct to shop around, but I didn't. Shame on me for that. The blinds were installed when I wasn't home so I did not get to look at them once they were installed to discuss any issues. I again trusted they were in correctly. Second mistake. Then I paid them, third mistake. After a couple of weeks and us still not able to move into the addition (contractor issues) I noticed that the wall by the french doors in the basement had a good size hole in it from the moulding and from the subs coming in and out of the house. I also noticed that a few of the blinds in a section of the addition that is separate from the main traffic flow were chipped. We hadn't even moved in yet and the blinds were falling apart. I also realized that he had sold me 2 1/2" blinds when my current blinds are 2". My so called "better blinds" were crap compared to the blinds I have had for 10 years with no problems. I called the company and I explained my problems and asked to have Danny call me about some issues with the blinds. Once I got ahold of him, he said he would have to pull up my order and come and look at it. When Danny arrived my husband and I showed him the problems. I asked him why he would sell me a blind that chips when he knows I have little kids. Why he sold me a blind that sticks out so far (3 3/4") on the French Doors. And why are they 2 1/2" and not 2" like I currently had. His response was, "I showed you the product" and "sorry, you signed the contract that you knew what you were getting." Wow. I explained to him that I trusted he, the salesman, would provide a quality blind that matched my previous ones. I compared it to scrapbooks. He's heard of scrapbooks, he knows what they are, but he doesn't have a vast knowledge of them. If he came into my store with a scrapbook and asked me to supply him with the paper that would fit into his scrapbook, it would be my job/responsibility to see that he received the correct product. This applies to me and blinds. I know what they are, I've heard of them but I don't have a vast knowledge in blinds. It was his responsibility to provide the correct product. To sum it up, I ended up calling the company and talking to one of the owners, Duane. Who told me that Danny is the other owner. Interesting. Danny made it sound like his hands were tied and there was nothing he could do. I would have liked to have had the company exchange my large profile blinds on the door to a slimmer shade blind. Instead I was offered $95 for both blinds. About 1/4 the price I had paid. So I'm stuck with a crappy product that I paid high dollar for. I will NEVER use them again. And I will make sure my family and friends NEVER use them.

Todd did come out to the house. Did come back a second time. Did not have the requested samples. Promised to come back and call for next appointment. I emailed 2 weeks later. Did get response that he still did not have the materials. Have not heard from him since . We were looking at spending around $ 6,000.00 . I guess he can earn that easier somewhere else. We are going elsewhere after checking with BBB as well. THIS THE AMERICAN FORK STORE LOCATION IN THE INDUSTRIAL PARK.

Did not actually go with the Blindman, but ONLY because I found a different kind of blind. The Salesman, Danny, was so good and explained everything and was a great salesman and very professional. Just wanted to recommend The Blind Man for those interested in any type window treatments. They will do their best to serve you and make you happy!
Description of Work: Danny came and measured all my windows. Same day I received a very detailed report on the sizes and prices of everything that I had asked for.
