 + -1 moreWe were getting a home inspection for a house we were thinking about buying, which was still tenant occupied. I asked Barry if he could coordinate with the tenant, gave him her number and he scheduled everything with her, then let us know what time we needed to show up. I talked with her later and she said Barry called her well in advance, worked with her schedule and was very thorough. We had the day for the inspection all set up, but about an hour before I had to cancel it! I felt awful, but Barry was so nice about it, even though I'm sure it was an inconvenience for him (he was already on his way up to the house and everything). But he was seriously so great about it, and just accommodating throughout the whole process. If I do have to do a home inspection any time soon, I will definitely call Barry again!
Description of Work: I called Barry asking for a home inspection. He called me back promptly, asked me pertinent questions about the home and quoted me a fair price (I called several other places first). He asked where I'd heard about him, and gave me 10% off (maybe it was 15%, can't remember...) when he heard I'd found him on Angie's.

Description of Work: Barry was very through and patient with us while explaining all of his inspection findings. He also provided contextual information for things in the inspection that were specific to Utah (like green labels on the furnace) since we're out of state home buyers. Overall he did a great job.

 + -1 moreWe live out of state and so relied entirely on reviews provided on Angie's List. I contacted Barry one week prior to the day I would be in town to meet him for the inspection. We set a meeting date and time and Barry was very prompt. Our realtor opened the property for Barry and the inspection was underway when I arrived. His inspection was thorough and he finished within the time he estimated. Barry took time after the inspection to review his findings with our realtor and me. The inspection report arrived the next day via email as promised. I will use Barry again and will recommend him to others.

I can't remember the gentleman's name, but he rushed to the house, expedited the sample testing and wrote up a report for the bank so we could close. Exceptional service.
