A date was set pending the tile arrival which was delayed due to the fault of the shipping company. After about a week and a half went Kathy the extra mile touching base with Daltile expressing her displeasure with the lateness of the order. She made an appointment with Daltile to help me chose a in-stock tile which I liked even better then my original choice. A date was set for the installation of the ceramic tile. Kathy was prompt laying down protective tarps to prevent carpet getting dirty. The work took about 3 hours from start to finishing laying down the tile and she cleaned up completely. One more date was set a few days later for her to come back and grout the tile which didn't take long at all. I am very pleased with the professional, courteous, friendly attitude work performed by Young Tile Company. I would recommend them highly.

Excellent experience. Sometimes a little late to contact, but minimal. Did what she said, was helpful, neat, skilled and an all around nice person. Had to do on time an materials as she was not sure what she would find due to the situation

Kathy's work is excellent. She was very accommodating to get the job done as fast as possible. This is our only bathroom, so Kathy went the extra mile to make sure we were not without bathroom access for long periods of time. Kathy also offered design expertise that made a huge difference. Our tile supplier sent the wrong accent pieces. Because we were pressed for time, Kathy came up with an alternative that turned out to be far better!!! We are so happy with her suggestions!! Like most projects, there were some unforeseen issues and we asked Kathy to provide additional work beyond the original bid. Therefore, the final costs differed a bit from the first estimate, but all within reason. Our new tile is absolutely fabulous and we will ABSOLUTELY hire Kathy again.

I was originally going to perform this work myself, but I was running out of energy after a long remodel project. I had 2 companies give us a quote. Young Tile got the job b/c they didn't want to proceed with the less-than-best-practice shower pan that the plumber had installed. Young recommended we pull it out and start over and the other company did not mention it. I new that Young was correct that there was a better way. They did not want to give a firm bid b/c the tile was handmade and had variation in size. It was not mounted in sheets, so the labor was higher than typical jobs. We agreed to pay for time and materials. In all it took about 8 person-days to perform the work. They were very clean and very professional. You may be able to find a contractor for less money, but we are very happy and think the peace of mind was worth it.

There were many unexpected and expected obstacles including, uneven walls, out of date tile on bathroom floor that she had to match by hand-cutting 1 inch tile squares to patch old floor, and putting tile around an old claw-foot bathtub to match the walls. Also tiled kitchen floor. The work she did is beautiful and precise. She was also a very tidy and considerate worker and disrupted our home life as little as possible as she worked. Her bid was a little high at first, but worth every penny as we saw her work.
