We were very pleased from start to finish. Vahe stopped by the same day I called and gave us an estimate. We purchased the laminate from him as well and he delivered it a few days before the job started. The price was very fair and the job was finished within 3 days. Vahe is one of the most professional and personable contractors we have ever had in our home. He went above and beyond, and made sure that we were absolutely satisfied with our flooring. Our floors look absolutely beautiful!!! We would use him again in a heartbeat, and if you are looking to have your flooring done, we highly recommend him!!!!

Vahe came promptly when he said he would and if anything ever came up I was always notified. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and recommended the best products for the job. They removed all the baseboards without damaging the walls, installed the floors, installed the moldings at the base of the cabinets, and put the baseboards back on. We have a two year old in the house and they made sure that if they had to walk on the carpet they removed their shoes. They took pride in keeping the area clean while they worked and vacuumed when they were done. They even cleaned up the dust and mess that was made outside from the saws. The finished product is absolutely amazing and will add so much value to our home. I only wish he offered more services so I could use him for all of my remodel needs. His bid was better then other companies that gave me an estimate and included more work for the cost. I would definitely recommend Vahe and his company to anyone that is looking to have flooring done.

Vahe is professional, knowledgeable, polite, courteous and very skilled. He and his helper arrived exactly on time each day and they left the work areas clean and tidy each night. We have future flooring projects planned and we will definitely hire Vahe for them all. Our hardwood flooring project came out better than we imagined and Vama Floorcovering has earned my highest recommendation. He removed and hauled away carpeting and linoleum from the living room, kitchen and dining room plus 2 stairways and 2 hallways. It was all done so fast! Then he installed our hardwood flooring (we provided the flooring so the cost of service above is for labor) and replaced all the baseboards. The results are stunning! The entire experience from the first phone call to when he drove away after the project was complete was wonderful and simply could not have gone any better. We felt like we were working with a long-time friend, not a hired contractor. In short, the work was done to the highest standard by people we enjoyed welcoming into our home and we feel like we received the best possible value and service. Thank you Vahe! You are the best!

Vahe is amazing. Without a doubt the best home repair vendor I've ever dealt with....and here's why: I am a homeowner of a Sugarhouse condo while living in Portland. My tenant requested new laminate flooring and, after talking with Vahe, I agreed. Before him, Home Depot and other contractors (even ones from Angie's List) just didn't inspire me to make a change. I knew that I would eventually have to replace the flooring and a few minutes on the phone with Vahe convinced me to move forward. His professionalism, kindness, and eagerness to help made him an easy choice. He was great with my tenant and scheduled the install around her job, her furniture, and her baby's sleep schedule. He finished a day and half early while mounting all new baseboards, knocking out my laundry room (for free!) and moving all the furniture back to its original position. My tenant was thrilled....so I was thrilled. The floors look great and came in well under the price of Lowe's, Home Depot, and all other independent contractors. Please use him. You'll be so happy!

Vahe came by. He was nice, and had some good suggestions. However when he gave his bid, he tried to hide how overpriced his bid for labor was by giving an incomplete bid. All of the other providers who bid on work gave complete bids giving the full picture of the work.

I planned to get bamboo, the provider suggested laminate since it is so durable. We have dogs and he said the laminate he uses is very beautiful and strong. He set up the dates for installation and him and his assistant worked all day long for 4 days a partial day. The office was not planned in the original estimate; we loved the other flooring so much we decided to also do the office. I had received other bids and this bid was the best. The flooring looks beautiful. We are very happy with the finished product. I would recommend Vama Floorcoverings.

I am pretty hard core related to anyone who does work in my home, lucky for me I am at the point in life where I can afford to not "do it myself". Given the fact that I have extensive construction and contractor experience, I know what good quality looks like and I definitely know what good customer service is. The scope of work for the job in my house was to lay a new floor in my daughters' bedroom. When Vahe from Vama flooring came by to provide an estimate it was immediately crystal clear to me that he was Personable, Knowledgeable, and is a Subject Matter Expert in his trade. Bottom line is he communicated well leading up to the work as well as during the work. The work quality was excellent and the price was more than fair. This company DELIVERED SIGNIFICANT VALUE and I would recommend or use them again in a heartbeat! I am extremely happy with the work and Vahe made some recommendations which were relevant and timely. This company will get additional business from me, no question about that. I usually don't write reviews but these guys deserve it !!

Vahe was great! We have a really old house, so our floors are very un-even. Normally, leveling the floors would have cost us a ton, but Vahe has a ton of experience and ended up being able to level them in an economic way. The floors are beautiful. Vahe was professional, friendly, and prompt, I highly recommend him!

He was great! He was quick with getting us estimates and starting work. We had a couple hiccups and he worked with us. He left the area clean and neat everyday. He had great suggestions on how to lay the floor. He gave a great price and offered military discount! We wont use anyone else for any of our floor needs. Please ignore the dusty floor of the attached photos it literally was right after completion.

He visited with us several times coming to our house, providing several flooring samples and working out a way to meet our needs within our budget. Hard to find reliable contractors but vahe was extremely reliable in returning calls and coming by and on time on several occasions to coordinate the project of flooring . He was a rockstar!

Vahe was great to work with. He tried to work around my schedule to give me an estimate. He is incredibly professional and thorough and his personal touch made the entire process very straight forward. He does all the work himself and does not utilize subcontractors. We truly appreciated the high level of communication Vahe gave us. His price was much better than I could have hoped and the quality of both the flooring and the installation was beyond wonderful. He was careful to keep out home as clean as possible and cleaned up his work area at the end of each day. His impeccable courtesy and concern for what we wanted in the project convinced us that for all flooring projects, he will be the one doing the install.

Vahe is professional, friendly and very responsive. He installed my wood floor when he said he would and at a cost he stated up front. It looks absolutely amazing and Vahe did an excellent job! I would call him again in a heartbeat and will do so as we slowly remodel our home room by room. We bought the flooring several years ago with the intention of installing it ourselves to cut costs. We finally contacted Vama Floorcoverings just to find out how much installation would cost since it was obvious we were never going to get around to the big areas ourselves. His price was so reasonable we can't believe we waited all this time to get it done! Vahe is talented and a genuinely kind person. Vahe did a great job and respected our time. He was there when he committed to be there, always showing up on time. To get the job done, required he work pretty late one evening and on the weekend. Once he started, he was on the job each day until he finished. Working with Vahe was a pleasure and I highly recommend him and his work.

Vahe and his helper demoed the tile and carpet...which was a big job as the tile removal was difficult and time consuming...they did a good job of it. The laminate installation turned out beautiful...I am very pleased with all of Vahe's work and it was a pleasure to have him in my home. He is a very personable fellow and enjoyable to converse with. Vahe also hooked me up with one of his friends, a tile installer, who installed marble tile in my entryway for a very good price...his work, like Vahe's, was also stellar. I would hire Vahe again in a heartbeat and have recommended him to a friend of mine who is contemplating replacing some of the flooring in her home.

I contacted Vahe in the spring about my install. I ended up not getting it done until August because of my time frame. He was great and used the pricing from my original bid. Unfortunately I did the measuring myself and ordered the flooring which ended up not being enough for the job. So Vahe was great about rescheduling for two days later so I could get the correct amount. He arrived on time and was great dealing with my dogs in the house. He completed the job and cleaned up after himself. The floor looks amazing and I am very happy.

I can't say enough good things about the job he did! He had wonderful suggestions as to floor color and paint colors. It looks wonderful even around my round brick fireplace, which I was concerned about how it would look. He even stuck around after he was done to help us with moving our safe back in place. I plan on him being my go-to for all my flooring needs.

Vahe was beyond amazing to work with! By far the most professional and friendliest person we have hired to work on our home. He's such an upbeat and positive person and his work reflects it. The floors look amazing and were installed perfectly. Vahe was extremely thoughtful throughout the whole process, taking our needs into consideration each step of the way (doing the kitchen area first so it wouldn't impact our use, minimizing dust from the tile removal). He made sure to do things the right way the whole time and avoided shortcuts (explaining where others would take them). I would fully recommend Vahe for any flooring work and if I never need anything again, he'll be the first I call!

He went above and beyond anything I expected. It was a fantastic experience.

I called Vahe and explained the damage and what I needed done. He was working on a large project at the time but gave me a date a few days down the road and said he could do the job then. He called the day before and arranged a time and he showed up on time, looked at the job and said he could do it that day. When he finished the floor looked as good as new. The replaced pieces matched perfectly and he cleaned up and left me feeling very happy. H even showed me how to fix up a spot around my fireplace which I did and it looks much better. Vahe is very courteous and professional. He thinks about the customer more than anything else. We have a tight schedule for this project and he was able to finish the project out of his busy schedule. When we asked him to install the floor during the weekend, he realized the floor has been sitting in the garage for a while, and garage is much colder than room temperature. Instead of installing the floor, he helped us moving the floor inside of the house and waited for couple of days before installing the floor. We appreciate his customer-centric and professionalism.

It was a great experience. We called Vahe on a Saturday to set up an appointment for an estimate for the following week. He.actually made arrangements to show up on Sunday. He helped us pick out our flooring based on our needs. He showed up on time each day and his workmanship is the highest quality. We had some challenges with the cement not being even and he took the time to even it out and also fill in cracks. He is meticulous and thorough and also very pleasant to be around. We would highly recommend Vahe to anyone who would like beautiful flooring installed.
