Description of Work: They are completing the flooring with laminate wood that was begun by a crooked contractor a couple of years ago. The laminate flooring has been, unfortunately, stored in the original boxes on end in the garage through summer & winter (it should be flat, so it won't warp.) Vahe and the other man have the best manners I have seen in ages. He is articulate, does not waste your time but manages to convey a calming, knowledgable confidence and is often offering reassurances when I begin worrying. That is profoundly meaningful to an elderly, overwhelmed widow! Widows are surrounded by sharks and snakes and getting work done has become a terrible chore -- but not with Vahe. |He explained what he needed, performed a pre-work inspection, called the day before the job, and the day of the job. |When I unexpectedly had to cancel, he was fine and readily suggested a day two days later. He came prepared to work in less than optimal conditions and finished one bedroom in about two hours! And as I look at the floor, I see a beautiful pattern that could only have been intentional. He is an artist! I can say enough good things about them. Thank you!

+ -1 moreVahe came met with us before we purchased our home and provided us with an estimate on the work. He was right on with his estimate for materials and time it would take to perform the work. He was clean in his job area and meticulous with every detail. He was able to maximize the use of the boards to minimize waste. He proactively called us a couple of weeks after we moved in to come and touch up some little areas where the transitions had been installed. This was some minimal cosmetic work that could not be done until the glue used to secure the transitions dried. I have had several wood floors installed over the years and this is by far the best service and workmanship. Thank you Vahe!
Description of Work: Vahe did an awesome job removing existing tile and installing laminate wood floors on over 1,000 sq ft of my home. He was very knowledgeable about materials and advised us on what would look best for us in our new home. He was punctual, dependable and his prices were excellent for the quality of the workmanship. It has been a pleasure working with him and I do not hesitate to recommend him.

+ -1 moreVahe was friendly and knowledgeable on the phone, and in person when he came to my home to look at the project. He let me know when he was working in my home, if I was at work. The job ended up being more complicated than anticipated, because of how uneven the floor was. He let me know every step of the way how long the project was going to take in terms of pouring concrete, letting it dry, and putting down the flooring. I had a deadline by which the job needed to be done, and despite the setbacks, he got the job done on time. I had purchased the laminate on line, but he did the rest of the purchases for the underlayment, moisture barrier, and trim. He showed me the receipts for everything he purchased, and I was comfortable with the final price of the job. The quality of the work was very high. I am very pleased with my experience working with Vahe, and would be happy to refer him to anyone.

Vahe was able to come out to do an estimate right away to replace the bamboo, tile and carpeting in our first floor.. He shared his insight about the type of flooring he thought we should get given our dog, the area being replaced, how long we will be in our home, and his experience with various brands. He met with us at Home Depot and guided us through what floors were best, and went above and beyond by sending us pictures of flooring he found at his local store. We feel we got a very competitve rate and we feel the workmanship was excellent. It's obvious Vahe takes his work seriously and has pride in his craftsmanship. We are glad we chose VaMa Flooring and will do it again in the future if the need arises!

Vahe was able to meet me the very next morning, not only to bid out, but he was also prepared to perform the work needed right then. He made the entire process painless; from picking up the materials that I purchased to providing excellent craftsmanship. The work was completed the same day and he left my property neat & tidy. Once the existing floor had been removed and he was ready to install the new floor, he sent me a photo of the beginning stages of laying down the new floor with a suggestion to change the direction of the flooring to enhance the entire look of the space. I hadn't even thought of doing that, but his suggestion REALLY made so much sense. I love that he cares so much about his work that he not only 'does the work' but see's the entire picture to give you the best results possible. I was also very pleased with his having convenient online payment options, as well as emailing an invoice to you right away.

+ -1 moreWhen I first called Vama Flooring to get information he was available right away and very eager and kind with his time. He showed up the following day to do the estimation. Upon arrival he was very professional and kind and quick with the measurements. We had originally wanted to get several estimates but after meeting Vahe from Vama Flooring it was hard to call anyone else....so I didn't! He called to check us regularly and met us at the Home Improvement store to get the correct supplies! All the while being so professional and knowledgable and super nice! On the day of install he arrived on time with a smile and worked his butt off all day and the final product was PERFECT!!! Better that I had imagined it would be! Thank you! Vahe! I look forward to finding an excuse to using again in the future! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Use Vama Flooring, you won't be disappointed!!!

He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He said he would be able to complete the job in one day, which was important as we are living in the space needing the install. He showed up on time and finished the job as promised. He does beautiful work.

By Wednesday we had hired him and he was scheduled to come out for Saturday. He arrived during the specified time on Saturday. He was very kind and a pleasure to visit with. He cleaned as he worked. He was efficient, professional and very particular about the job. We appreciated his attention to detail. We would use and recommend him anytime for our flooring needs.
