Universal Signs

This process began on 11/8/2013 and the work was not completed until 4/2/2014, and then not completed satisfactorily. Universal Signs was quick to collect their deposit of 50% and then dropped the ball at every turn. We were promised a 6 week process. Every deadline was exceeded. To convert our old signs from neon to LED, we were promised an installation date of 12/16/2014 for one sign and 12/30/2014 for the other sign. Each of these were installed at least a week after the promise date, and the power to the signs was not connected until 2/7/2014. We lost count of the number of phone calls placed to Universal just to work out the issues with 2 existing signs. The pole sign was not installed until 3/7/2014, when the promise date was 1/2/2014. When it was installed, the workmanship was poor and the lettering was not crisp and white. In addition, the electrical was not hooked up correctly. These issues were not resolved until 4/2/2014. We are still not happy with the pole sign, and will have to eventually replace it with something else. If you are wanting a nightmare, then go to Universal Signs. Prepare for a long, drawn out, unsatisfactory process with no communication and poor customer service.
