Description of Work: The sales personnel were professional, prompt to give estimate and although they were worried about giving a realistic estimate for a storage unit piled high with stuff, they did, and it proved to be fairly accurate. I was moving over 2000 miles and they used a 3rd party moving company that had very professional movers (Steven's moving company). Steven's quoted an end price of over double the quote! When i called Two Man Moving and Storage, they told me to request them to re-weigh the truck before and after drop off. They did - with me present, and the cost was as quoted originally - whew!! Some fragile items were broken, but I did not think it was worth complaining about, especially as I packed most of them. They moved me into a condo on the 3rd floor and they worked very hard. I was very pleased with all the personnel I had contact with.

I booked Two Guys movers in advance and received a written estimate that was reasonable. When the big day arrived, they showed up on time and seemed pleasant enough, but things got off to a bad start right away. I had a gun case open on the dining room table with a 19th C antique rifle in it. The first thing they did was dump their damp gloves and clipboard on the rifle. My takeaway was that these pleasant fellows were neither observant nor careful about their work, and since I value my belongings, their actions were worrysome. I explained politely why those items couldn't go on the gun and moved them off. They then let me know that if I wanted anything insured, that the price would go up by a third. I later learned that their insurance rates were somewhat aligned with industry norms, but since these terms had not been explained in my previous two conversations with their company, nor in the written estimate (beyond a cryptic one-line mention that fell far short of their in-person up-sell), I felt a bit held up. As we discussed insurance charges and the proposed work, I turned around and again found the clipboard sitting on my open gun case. Once again I asked that it be moved. I called their office, explained my surprise at the up-charges, and was ultimately told they would do nothing about it. At every point these people were pleasant, but the price surprise and inattention to the most basic instructions regarding the rifle proved too much and I declined their services. I hired another company that ultimately provided a better value. More importantly, they were so good and so careful with their handling of my belongings that I felt no need to insure them for the six-block move, and this was ultimately proved a wise decision. These aren't bad guys. But they're not going to move my stuff.

They did an absolutely fantastic job from start to finish. The estimator was on time, very efficient, and very reasonable on price (even gave me a military discount when I asked). The movers showed up on time and the crew of Lance and Josh were two of the hardest working and professional gentlemen that I have experienced. They packed up all of our belongings carefully and loaded a 26' rental truck using every square inch to make all our household goods fit. My back started to hurt just from watching these two work and I could not believe how hard they kept at it all day. I tried to get them to take breaks but they just kept on going. Our rental truck made it from Utah to Dallas and when it was unloaded ... not one single thing was damaged. I have had many moves when I was in the military and never had one without some damage. It was an amazing job top to bottom and I feel that I got way more then my moneys worth and would recommend them to anyone.

Two man movers did a terrific job. They came when scheduled each day, made arrangeemnts to adjust their schedule to meet our needs and accomodated my gross underestimate of how much time it would take to move our 50,000+ pounds of stuff.

Very professional team arrived on time and began to work on a day that became the latest recorded snow fall at SLC airport. Team worked quickly yet carefully, we have not seen any evidence of damage but not everything is set back up yet. Team limited the amount of tracking snow and mud into both houses. We were so pleased we gave each team member a handsome tip. Please consider doing so too if you are pleased with your service. These guys work very hard.

The move went very well overall.
Description of Work: Moved our entire home in one day. The day was very long, from 9am to 6pm. Thought their charge was reasonable for 9 hours of moving. Very careful movers. No damage in the move except a wooden leg on a cabinet bent slightly and broke off when moving it on the carpet in our new home. They were courteous with my concerns in the beginning about insurance coverage for damage on our belongings and got someone on the phone immediately for us to talk to before the move started. They were helpful in going to our storage unit and bringing back some large items to our new home and were courteous in taking some appliances back to our old home and carrying them into the basement. Very nice crew. I would use them again without concern. Not sure if we just got a great crew and if they change the crew frequently. Perhaps another crew would not be as good. The company did not contact us about our damage, however, even though the crew took a picture of the damage and we had bought extra insurance.

Outstanding! While scheduled for 9:00am, they arrived early at 8:30am and got started immediately. They covered the floors in our old house with blankets to protect them, and wrapped everything moved in both plastic wrap and then blankets for protection. They were very fast, but careful - we had zero damages to report as a result of the move. And best of all, they charged by the hour ($99/hour for two men), worked quickly, and were done in 6 hours - the next best bid I had received was a fixed rate bid of $1750, so Two Man Movers saved me over $1000 on my move!
Description of Work: I purchased a new home and needed the heavy contents (beds, dressers, etc from 4 bedrooms, basement furniture, living room furniture, tables, outdoors stuff, etc.) moved from Holladay to Sandy.

Based on the other bids we got for the move, they were very competitive. Most of the move went fine. They did break a part off of our crib. I really just wished they let us know -I probably would have just written it off as one of the mishaps of moving. Technically, their insurance covers 60 cents/lb -so I probably have a legitimate ~$60 claim. I do understand that stuff can get broken, and I was mostly disappointed that the movers did not let us know -especially as we tipped them fairly well. They were hard workers. However, they were not super professional, leaving garbage at both properties and even (oddly) sticking some trash in a box of ice-melt in the garage from the lunches that we bought them. Overall, effective and inexpensive -but not very professional.

The company was very professional and I felt my items and home were cared for like their own. It was a little more expensive than the competition, but at least I didn't lose any personal items or have to repair damage.
Description of Work: We hired the company to move most of our items to a new home a few miles a way. We also had some items moved to their warehouse for indefinite storage.

We received a quote via e-mail and then setup the move via the phone. The day before moving day they called to confirm the details of the move. The crew of 3 arrived 30 minutes early which may be a problem for some, but it was fine with us. The previous day they offered to give us a heads up call when they were 15 minutes from our home, but I didn't feel that was necessary. Had I asked for that we would have had more warning about the early arrival. 2 guys put the boxes we had already packed on the truck while the third packed up the remaining items in the house (he mainly wrapped up furniture, electronics, and kitchen items). My impression is that they were careful while working quickly. The final bill came in at the low end of the estimate.

The movers came 45 minutes late. All they had to do was load their truck. Everything was boxed, wrapped with plastic wrap and ready to go. I had a piano that I was most concerned about. I had a certain way that I wanted it loaded on the truck so that I could have it in the storage unit a certain way. This did not happen. They just packed the truck the way they wanted to. A time or too I thought that the furniture would fall off the end of the truck. They left the piano on the tailgate of the truck for some time. I held by breath hoping that it would not fall off. When we were unloading at the storage unit I discovered that a coffee table had been damaged badly. I had to call them again to have them pick it up for repair. The repair took 3 weeks. The table looked OK compared to what had happened. I did think that they handled the furniture a little rough, bouncing it on knee's and only one person lifting it when 2 should have been lifting it, if not 3 on the piano.
Description of Work: They moved furniture from one town to another city about 45 miles away. Then finished up at a storage unit.

They where good at their job, but came too early. Then they were late to the new location, but did give us a price break for our trouble.
Description of Work: They helped us load everything. Then they brought it to the new location. They unloaded our things and put it where we wanted it.
