 + -1 moreWe went to Home Depot to buy a water heater and found one for $550. Since we wanted it installed, we were referred to Superior Water and Air. When the plumber arrived, he moaned, grimaced and shook his head, then said the current water heater had so many code violations that it was amazing it was still working. The heater and installation would be $1,790. I then called Clair's Plumbing out of North Ogden who I had used in the past. He brought a better heater and installed it for $900. He said the only code violation was a loose earthquake strap.
