SENSKE TREE & LAWN SERVICE

We had Senske spray our apple and pear trees this year both of which have given bushels of fruit over the years. I thought their spraying schedule sounded rather strange compared to what we were used to but we were assured that it would be very effective. But it was a disaster! We lost our entire pear crop and 95% of our apple crop to codling moths. I cut open at least 30 pears and every one of them was wormy and rotten. The apples were only slightly better but you had to cut open about 7 or 8 apples to find one that was edible. Last year we bottled 70 quarts of pears from our tree and ate or gave away many more. This year we got nothing! When we contacted Senske they sent a guy out to check out the situation and he agreed that the fruit was a total loss. The only compensation they offered us was the $380 we had paid to have the trees sprayed. That was far less than the value of all the fruit but we finally agreed to it. WHAT WE ACTUALLY RECEIVED WAS NOTHING!!! Despite multiple phone calls over a 2 month period with promises that the refund would be forthcoming we never received a dime! Needless to say we will not be going with them again. But we would like to save other fruit growers from the same tragedy we had to endure.

Have had this company doing our lawn and trees for several years. They continue to not show for appointments and could care less about their clients. Finally getting rid of them and finding a different company. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Beware of the Senske Scam. Does not honor service agreements but happy to take your money and bill for more. Very poor work ethics, unreliable.

It took two weeks for the workers to come to my home. Finally when they arrived, they did not give me notice, they were just knocking on my front door. I talked with the receptionist and told her exactly what I wanted accomplished in my yard. I had weeds overgrown and lots of stickers (goat heads?) that was unsafe for my grandkids to play in the backyard. I told her I wanted all the weeds gone, I wanted all the stickers gone and the land cleared as we were going to plant grass and do rocks. She told me that they would be able to do that and that my yard would look pristine and all the stickers and weeds would be gone. I was told they had the equipment to clear my yard. When the workers arrived they worked for 1 1/2 hours. When they said the job was done, there were still stickers throughout the yard and the ground was not cleared. When I asked them about it, they said that they were unable to rack the stickers up and did what they could. So much for a pristine yard. They worked hard, and probably did their best, but my request and my goal for my yard was not meet one bit! To top it off, I was charged for 2 hours of work, instead of 1 1/2 hours. They were suppose to come and spray a weed killer and it has been 2 weeks and I have not heard from them. They are disorganized and do not follow through with getting back to you. I am very disappointed with the company as a whole! We paid $300.00 and my husband and ended up having to rack up the weeds and stickers. I do not recommend this company!!!

After $50 a treatment {3 treatments) I have a brown patchy lawn full of grubs and weeds. Also I was told they would spray weed killer on the driveway but the weed there are more healthy than the lawn.

They said they would get back with me and they didn't. I called again customer service said they would talk to supervisor and them call me right away, they never got back with me and I just decided they weren't worth my time and then seasons started to turn down so I decided to wait until spring. Just poor customer service. The initial meet and the review of the tress in question, seemed pretty legit and on. The conversation was good, but that is as far as I got. I tried to work with them because they seemed good. The gentleman that came out was professional until they didn't finish what they were supposed to do.

It was just really easy to do and they did everything they said they would do.

She was very professional and told me what she would be spraying for and what to expect. Also told me wasps would continue to fly around but would not be building nests, if I have a problem they will come back and spray again.If I do find spiders in the house she will come back and spray inside. I have not had a big problem with spiders, wasps are my big problem. They will come out again in October and spray for fall insects etc.

Called the day before coming, left tag that they had been there. I had questions regarding treating trees for aphids- they did not return a call regarding my question.

Senske Pest Control provides a warranty and I saw ants again after he did it. I'd say he's pretty responsive and excellent overall.

I didn't see good Angie Reviews for Senske-Salt Lake, but saw many glowing reviews for Senske-Ogden, a nearby city, and I was told by Senske that Ogden is managed by Salt Lake. This is logical, but I wonder.. The agreed charge was $100.00 per hour. I agreed, based on the good responsible work promised and my own injuries. The apparent boss, a comfortable businesslike woman, assured me the work would be excellent. Next day she returned with four teenagers who giggled and ignored everything she told them. They worked one hour, then phoned to ask if I wanted them to stay. I told them to stay one more hour. After they left, I rode in a car to look. I have three acres, mostly deep woods, future care planned, but I had given the boys only two small areas to work. They had pulled many flowers and no weeds. I couldn't walk to closely examine the roses, but most have died from shallow planting. Sprinklers assure proper water. One of the teens is the son of the and quot;bossand quot;lady, and when I called, she told me how wonderful he is. Next time, he returned with one brand new teen. I explained AGAIN, but it was no better. Each time, she sent new boys, none of whom ever knew what to do. Finally, she sent older Spanish speaking men, I can handle Spanish fine, but they maintained I should spend more money for more time. I asked them to leave. I have never once complained about the price.I just desperately need quality. I've made MANY calls, which are avoided or transferred to someone who never calls back. Senske is a national company, but finding an in-charge-of customers person is hopeless. I've paid their bill, even though one invoice was post-marked in Las Vegas on Las Vegas stationery. I STILL need responsible grown-up yard care. Usually, I saw no invoices. I still don't know who is the and quot;boss.and quot;

I would recommend them to anybody and I am very satisfied with them.

I'm happy with them. I don't have any problems with any spiders or anything. They've been very good. They get the job done, and they've been very consistent. They're responsive and punctual. They're very reliable. Their prices are competitive.

We've been using them for 3 or 4 years and we are satisfied. The pricing is fair.

They killed my bushes on the first visit and my lawn on the second

I think they do a good job; my lawn looks great. The rates are cheap as well; we pay a flat yearly rate for four lawn treatments. We also get a discount because we buy package deals every year. They are always on time and they call and email in advance to let us know when they will be out.

They were over priced and tons of bugs and boors were still around and in the trees. Whatever they were doing was not working. I was not pleased with them at all because of the whole situation and I would not recommend them to anyone.

We just hired them. They did not show up at the time scheduled. I was waiting for them but they never showed-up. They had rescheduled but did not let us know. My wife called them to let them know we were not happy. They finally showed up and did the work well.

They live up to their promises. All work has been done to my satisfaction. I will use them again and recommend them.

We haven't had any problems with company. They are always on time and very professional. They also work well around our kids!

We are very happy with this company, and have had them for four years. They have really turned our yard into a golf course type of grass. I would highly recommend.

IM AM SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK. THEY SHOW CONCERN FOR PETS AND CHILDREN. THEY HAVE A FRIENDLY STAFF WHO ALWAYS LEAVES INFORMATION ABOUT ANY PRECAUTIONS WITH THEIR PRODUCTS.

The whole experience has been very positive. The grass is green, plush and has no weeds. We have gotten compliments on how good our lawn looks.

Senske has been our lawn care provider for years, and we have always been pleased with the work that they do. They are very friendly and willing to do what is needed to get a great looking yard.
