RHINO SHIELD

This was a nightmare. They sent two guys out to power wash prior to painting. I was at home and observed the sloven job that was done and when I talked to them about it, I was told they couldn't do anymore because it was so powerful it would knock them over or off any ladder or height. I called the managers and they said they would come out and redo it. However, the painters continued to prime over dirt. When I talked to the painter he said he had 30 years experience and knew what he was doing. I called the manager and they said they had been out and the job was being done as necessary. The guys spent maybe 3-4 hours a day on sight, what was supposed to be 10-14 days was 6 weeks. They tore off the masking and pulled off the paint, dripped paint on the front porch, drive way, patio, etc. When I asked about the paint being pulled off he said "This paint is hard to use, I don't know why you didn't just use 25 year paint." This did not evoke confidence that this guy had done a lot of jobs! I continually called the managers and they continually over promised and under performed. They finally told me there was a personality conflict between the painter and I, but two days later they fired the guy for his attitude toward them. So, now I've got a poorly started and what the painter calls finished job and they are going to put a new crew on in 1-2 weeks. I put up with this nonsense for 4 weeks but they put up with it once. I requested the job be resprayed and again was over promised "we won't be done until you're happy" and under performed. They said they would walk around and put blue tape on twice before they ever said they were done, but it became a part time job for me. I was the one asked to walk around every night and put blue tape on the missed spots and problem areas. They declared they were done on August 21 and started calling and leaving messages about how they were going to get paid. They billed me on August 13 but didn't get finished according to their "we're done" until August 21. I received no less than 4 messages on the 22nd regarding being paid. Out of total frustration and lack of time to continue to identify problem areas, I called and asked for a 5 gal container of paint to finish the job myself. Now, mind you, this was a $16,000 patch job that I was finishing. Never did they say "we've fallen short, we'll come out and look", they said "Sorry it didn't go smoother, Do you want the balance on your credit card? We can give you the paint and a gallon of primer." However, I am sorry I ever got involved with them and would highly recommend people avoid them at all costs! This paint is guaranteed to "never have to paint again". I genuinely have my doubts but hope I don't have to deal with them again if it doesn't. I still don't have the 5 gallons of paint and primer promised, but then it fits with the over promising and under performing this company is obviously best at.

They arrived very quickly. They were very good at cleaning up. They didn't leave a mess at all. They all worked hard and efficiently. They are very good people.

The quality of work was great, but the price was very high. It was worth it though. They were very tidy and knowledgeable about their job. The workers were also friendly.
