We had also used them last fall. They did the work and showed up when they were supposed to and finished promptly.

We have been using them for years. They were good overall.

Non-English speaking workers who didn't know flowers from weeds, didn't get roots of grasses invading woolly thyme ground cover.

They did a good job. They seemed very professional and were on time, which was nice. They were also really nice and had the work done quickly.

They do an adaquate job of cutting the grass but they frequently damaged property by hitting it with their mowers and gouged out areas of grass because their mowers were set too low. They are very slow or neglect to perform any other requested services like picking up dead branches or fallen apples even after several phone calls. They also continued to charge us for lawn services even though we had suspended their service for the fall.

Very nice poeple on the phone, very detailed on what the charges would be and what they covered. They suggested putting a time limit on the work and asked for a priority list so they would do the most important first. Showed up both times on time and did a very good job.

Let me start by saying that I've had inconsistent experiences with this company. I've listed the two jobs separately, so please see that report also. This first job was for a yard cleanup before winter. I called to arrange for an estimate. They were responsive about coming out. They don't really give estimates but said that they charge so much per man per hour. I tried to pin down the representative who was out to consult with me and she told me "it could be as much as $1000, but I really can't say." My yard isn't large but hadn't had a really good cleanup in years. I have approx. 75 rose bushes to trim down and take dead stuff off of. I had some crumbling reinforced cement edging that was very heavy and needed to be taken away. Two men came out and worked hard all day long. They did an excellent job. There isn't a dead limb on any of the roses and they were all neatly trimmed back. I had no difficulty paying my bill with Rasmussen Landscapes.

I called for an estimate on having Christmas lights put up. They told me their usual story which is "we charge so much per man per hour." They had given me a good deal previously on a difficult job. This Xmas light job is a 3.5 hour job for me (a middle aged not particularly handy female), so I said "lets do it." They asked me if I wanted to use their lights for a charge (which they would fix for free if anything went wrong) or my own. I opted for theirs. They arrived promptly. They being 3 young men and one ladder. They spent most of the first hour unboxing new lights. Then one guy stood around watching while the other two hung lights first on the house, then on the tree, seeing as how they only brought one ladder. The appearance was acceptable but not as good as the job I do. They charged 2.5 hours for 3 men = approx $240. I assumed that I was renting their lights (my mistake) and they would be taken down after Christmas. No such luck. A few weeks after Christmas I called to ask about it. They informed me that the lights were now mine but said "sure we'll take them down for you." I wasn't able to observe this job, but it cost me $70 dollars. Apparently two guys for an hour or so. Probably would have taken me an hour or so to pull them down and put them in a garbage bag as they did. So overall an incredably dumb deal. I'm very disappointed that I didn't have the great experience I did on the clean up job. I thought I had found a great landscaper. I'll probably give them another chance on the clean up type jobs, but as for Christmas lights... you must be joking!

I was overcharged for sprinkler turn-on and not informed that the cost would be well over $300 before work was performed. They broke my garage door in the process of leaving. They come every other week to mow the lawn but half my lawn is now dead (sprinklers do not cover entire area of lawn) and no one has done anything about this, they just come, spend five minutes to mow the alive part of the lawn, then leave. They have broken my sprinkler heads a number of times, and they do come out to fix them again at no charge, but can't they just be careful and not break them in the first place? I have to turn off the sprinklers for a couple of days each time to wait for them to come out to repair it. Overall, a pretty lousy experience.

The work they did was fine. The frustration stems primarily from the office staff, who were very friendly, but who were not able to have any coordination with the yard men. The billing system was often redundant or delayed, and their was often only one person (who seemed to be gone all the time) who could help you sort out what had been paid and what was owed. Even after I canceled the service (because of frustration with their billing), they STILL came and mowed the yard (it didn't need it, it was early spring), and then billed me late charges when I didn't pay!

Got the estimate for the job a few days AFTER the dispatcher said I'd get it and got the lawn care two days AFTER the dispatcher said I'd get it. Lawn care staff almost missed the top half of the lawn until I ran out and stopped them and asked them to complete their work, at which point they wordlessly got back out of the truck and did it. The quality of the work was fine, but I wish they could keep their word as far as their schedule and professionalism are concerned.

They do a very good job but they will push to come out more than they actually need to. Most of the workers that come out speak Spanish, which is inconvenient for me and they are not so good about getting back to me when I call. The quality of the work that they do is just fine.

Left nice brochure on the door. Got bid in late winter. Had subs do initial top dressing in early spring and then disappeared. Got billed twice. We re-established contact and they agreed to finish. Workers showed up unannounced, spoke no English, foreman not on-site. Crew was polite and competent but there were several mishaps due to communication problems. Yew trees had soil mounded against their base which had to be removed, refused to lower shrub sprinkler head to new sod level saying "we don't work on sprinklers." Not all fence brackets were installed and they refused to return to correct it saying "we don't usually build that type of fence" and telling us to go buy the parts and finish it ourselves. Material was left on site and we had to call to get them to come take it away. Overall the project worked out okay but a bit more personal attention from the foreman would have gone a long way to making it a better experience.

I felt they were very honest. They did an excellent job. I thought it was an excellent price. They work was done to my satisfaction. I would hire them for future jobs.

They did good quality work. They could be better however with returning phone calls. I had to keep trying to get a hold of them. Otherwise, the lawn looks great.

They took care of the yard. It always looked great. However, there were some language barriers.
