+ 0 moreChris and his team did a great job. Procare met the schedule, team was on time, cleaned up all debris at the end of day and the project was completed in one week. The reason we picked Procare-Chris had a 'vision' of what our yard should look like. He recommended a wall, new border treatment, removal of old tired rocks, tree selection, and adding of a few unique plants. The other landscape companies who bid, didn't give us a fresh perspective. My wife and I are very pleased with the results.
Description of Work: Large project of landscaping the front yard. New plants, trees, border, install brick wall, new lights and added a drip system.

Last year when they installed landscaping in which they have a one year guarantee, they didn't fall through with the guarantee and several plants died. At our business, they planted the wrong shrubs which will have to be removed and they wouldn't return any phone calls.

+ 0 moreChris was excellent! Very professional and prompt in completing the work I hired him for. I loved his design and so glad I followed his recommendations. The end result is breathtaking! I was pleased with how quickly they got the job done. His team worked fast and cleaned up the entire area when they were finished. I couldn't recommend a better company to do business with. I'll be hiring this company again in the Spring to landscape my back yard!
Description of Work: I contracted Procare Landscape to re-landscape my front yard. Since I'm not a designer, I didn't know where to start. I gave Chris my budget and allowed him free reign to do whatever he thought would look good. WOW! Is all I can say! I can't tell you how impressed I am with not only the quality of work the company performed, but the level of professionalism displayed. Procare started with a beautiful stacked rock raised planter bed that's about 3' high off the ground. I've never seen the color of rocks he used in Utah before, so I was rather pleased to find something unique and different being used. They were a beautiful match to my house. There were 2 walls put in and both were backfilled with clean dirt and graded to drain the rain away from my house. After these were done, Procare replaced my entire sprinkler system, including valves and controller. All of my planted areas were placed on a drip line system, making my front yard practically maintenance free. The sprinkler system was designed to accommodate the new shape of my yard and new sod that was installed. Prior to installed the sod, Chris used a soil conditioner to assist the roots of the new sod to take hold. When my neighbors had their sod installed, the company they used didn't do this. I was pleased to see Chris take an extra initiative to ensure quality. There was a spectacular variety of plants selected to accent the house and bring interest to the planted areas. I've enjoyed the variety and can't wait until spring to see everything come back to life again. Last, he installed 9 outdoor lights to highlight the wall and some of the trees, all of which are on a timer that comes on automatically every evening, I have loved the fact that all I do is cut the grass and rake the leaves in the fall. Even in the winter, my yard has maintained it's beauty!

+ 0 moreThe completed wall is attractive and I believe stable, but not the block style I requested. The job duration was estimated to last 3 to 4 days in a single week, but took 3 weeks. Most issues stemmed from not having a contract in place to start the work, as promised; I received the contract when the work was completed. We met on site 1 week before the work started to review the specifics of the scope. The laborers started with little apparent understanding of the scope and unprepared to manage the waste concrete blocks. I directed and watched the laborers myself for over 2 hours. Neither I nor the lead laborer was able to reach Mr. Card by phone. The laborers did a good job in protecting the neighbors' yard, brick walkway, and irrigation system located immediately at the base of the wall. Several days into the job, Mr. Card notified me that the type of blocks I requested would cost an additional $1,000, and the exact requested style was not available. He split the cost with me.
Description of Work: The scope of work included removal of a 55-foot-long 3.5-foot-high cinderblock retaining wall and replacement with a similar-sized engineered block retaining wall (Keystone blocks). They removed old wall debris. They removed an old privacy fence.
