Pioneer Roofing

The full crew showed up on time, worked through the full day and basically finished the job in one day. . The crew did a great job and cleaned up virtually all the construction mess. A great job done quickly. I recommend them to anyone needing roof services.

Pioneer is professional, fast and reasonably priced. We used them for half the roof and re-used them for the second half. They cleaned the areas and were respectful to the neighbors!!! They are ACES in my book and will recommend them to all we know!!!

Pioneer Roofing did a great job for us. The price was good, they showed up and finished on time. The roof looks great. No complaints, I would use them again.

Pioneer Roofing really helped us out when we needed it the most. Back in 2009, three of our roofs started leaking badly. John Stout and his crew scheduled to do these roofs and did a great job. He even traveled to Evanston, Wyoming to do our office building there. The jobs were very professionally done. In fact, the building inspector saw the quality and asked for Pioneer's phone number so that he could use them for his new home. We recently, March 2019, thought that one of our roofs was leaking. One of the Pioneer Roofing crew came out and determined that the roof was fine but that because of loose gutters, water was pooling and going through the stucco. It didn't matter that it wasn't the roof. He repaired everything and we no longer have any leaks. I'm very appreciative and that is why I am writing this review. Jeanette Daniels, Salt Lake City, UT

It went great. They were supposed to start on a Monday, but due to weather, started the next day. They were done in TWO DAYS. Our house is a small Sugarhouse bungalow with a pretty small roof, but TWO DAYS was amazing. They had to tear off all the shingles from our house. They tarped the yard around the house and took away all of the shingles without leaving a big mess. The garage didn't need a tear off, just an overlay. It was nice to deal with an honest company that didn't tell you you needed stuff that you didn't.

Wow!! Kudos to Pioneer Roofing for an outstanding job installing new shingles on our home! We contacted them on 7/13/17 about redoing our roof, and our new roof was completed by 7/21/17. Roof completely failed in the first 6 months...caused many thousands of dollars in damage. They seemed incapable of repairing it. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

This was a brand new roof (not a repair). The roof leaked from the first rain storm. The company did not ever stop the leaking, which led to thousands and thousands of dollars of damage to the building and contents. Every time they tried to "repair" the brand new roof, it got even worse. I have had many roofs put on over the years, and NEVER had an experience even close to this! They are not capable of even moderately decent work.

I had a previous bid from another roofing company that was $11,000. Decided to have Pioneer give me a bid as well; much lower at $8300. They got started on it fairly quickly and got it done quickly. It looks good, and after 6 mos I've had no problems. I had to pick up some little pieces of the roofing material from the yard and shrubs for a few weeks, but they were all pretty small bits. They had to remove the evaporative cooler and reattach it, and they did a fairly good job of that except the electrical conduit pipe didnt quite match up with the hole in the cooler due to the thicker material and that was just left loose. One little thing that annoyed me is that about a week or 2 after the job the cap on the kitchen fan vent pipe blew off into the yard. It had been put back on without putting any screws back into the holes in it to hold it on. Laziness or just forgot to put them back in? So I went on the roof and screwed it back in, not a big deal and no harm done but a little annoying. To save the $2700 it was well worth it. I would use them again, but the roof should last at least 20 yrs. and if I keep living here I might not live that long, so maybe my last roofing job ever.

The only problem was that some of the workers did not show up. The owner of the business came over the next day to fix any problems. He was very helpful and professional.
