I called due to high rating on Angie's list. Told him I had hung the drywall in my basement and needed to have it taped and mudded. At that point he said are you a professional? I said, no. He said how many years have you been hanging Sheetrock, then started going on and on not allowing me to talk, saying that he doesn't work after do-it-your-selfers, and it always looks bad, screws are crooked and edges are messed up. I tried to tell him that it's not like that and looks good, my brother in law who did this professionally for 10 years did most of it and I just helped, and the few mistakes I made were fixed. He didn't let me tell him that, all I could get out was that it looks good, and it's not like he was describing. He was very rude and just wanted to tell me how bad it was without even looking at it. I asked if he would just come out and look and he said he knows what it will look like and doesn't need the business, he's already plenty busy. I felt like he unleashed on me because I simply asked for the wrong thing, a simple "we don't do that kind of work" would have been fine, but instead I was degraded and attacked for having the gall to try to do some of the work myself. From the other reviews it looks like they do good work, but in my experience, I wouldn't bother unless you want them to do the complete job start to finish.

He gave us the lowest bid and was very helpful suggesting different options to fix our problem areas. He did an excellent job and cleaned up afterwords. He was fast and professional. He also suggested a great plumber, electrician and tile man for our other projects. He knows all the right people.

Excellent. It was 20$ nore than he originally quoted because there was an additional cracked area we hadn't pointed out to him during the estimate. He was beyond reasonable, polite, and professional.

I am very pleased. Del and D*** did a great job. A very good match. I just finished the painting and you wouldn't know there was ever a problem. They came back a third time to do a little more finish work (even though they estimated only two trips). The price was the same and very resaonable. I highly recommend this company. And they do more than drywall.

They were just the ones I was looking for. I had a couple of difficult problems. No one else was able to solve them and they found a way to do it. The price was good. They were responsive, punctual, and professional.

They were quick to respond to a bid request which was nearly the lowest bid. Established a rapport immediately. They were able to start work within days and finished on time. They were always on time, responsive to unique needs and helpful in solving some difficult problems. I've since recommended them to a close friend and they were equally impressed. Overall, they were one of the best contractor experiences I've had in my 40+ years of extensive remodeling of my homes.

We had a basement hallway that was in need of a complete makeover -- all the walls plus the ceiling. We also had numerous holes in walls in other rooms that needed patching. The two Steves (Steve Sheppard and Steve Jeffers) from Patch 'n Match responded with the lowest bid and did an outstanding job. They worked long and hard to get everything just right. Their attention to detail was exceptional. They interacted with us at every turn, making sure they were doing exactly what we wanted. They were very polite and personable. They were careful to protect our new floor and they cleaned up after themselves. These are true professionals. They know what they're doing and they do it right for a fair price. It was a pleasure to work with them on this project and we would use them again without hesitation. In fact, we are recommending them to our friends. I might add that one of these Steves suffered a family tragedy (the death of a close nephew) during this time and at one point had to attend the funeral. Although clearly traumatized by this unfortunate event, he did not let it affect the quality of the work he was doing for us.

Steve and Steve arrived promptly, the day after my call. They were willing to accommodate my work schedule (which meant working at night), and did the job (repairs three walls) quickly and professionally. The walls had rough globs of mastic everywhere, but when they were done, you couldnt tell the mirrors were ever there.

Dell's work is superior to others we've used. He works quickly, cleans up the messes he makes, is very particular about rehanging rods, or putting doorknobs back in place. His painting is close to flawless and he's a great guy to actually get to know. This is the second time we've hired him to do work for us. This time though, his work was extensive since we were moving out and renting the house. I was extremely pleased with the outcome of his work and best of all, with the price he charged. He was never late and if a previous job went late he always called to advise.

Del did a great job repairing them. He showed up when he said he would and the whole thing was very low hassle.

Very pleasent experience. Del responded quickly to my initial phone call and his price quote was right around what I expected to pay for the work. When he came to do the job, he arrived right on time, was friendly and professional, finished his work quickly - and most importantly, the new room looks great! My neighbor ended up hiring him to do some work on her place as well. Del had agreed to remove the old toilet and flooring in my bathroom at the same time as doing the drywall repair. When the toilet was disconnected, the valve started leaking. He went out to the hardware store, purchased a new valve, returned to my home and replaced it for me at no additional charge.

Del arranged to come early and stay late to help get this project done. He even came on a weekend night to get the work done.

He put drywall on ceilings and then textured and painted them. He did a good job.

Del was very knowledgeable and takes great pride in his work. He went above and beyond what we asked for and we ended up giving him a bonus on top of what he asked for because we were so happy with all he had done.

We have a 100 year old house. We gutted the basement, had it framed and then had Patch and Match do the drywall. They were on time, fairly priced, extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. Due to the age of our house, we had small issues that arose and Del worked well with us to make sure that everything looked great! We are very satisfied and plan to use Patch and Match again in the near future. Del used union guys to help him hang the drywall and demo our stairwell, but then he did all the mud, tape, sanding and ceiling texture himself.

I contacted Del based on a positive review from Angie's List. He is located near my house and I like supporting people in my neighborhood. He picked up the phone on the first ring, asked me what I needed, and said he would come by later that afternoon to assess the project. He arrived that afternoon, gave us a rough estimate on how long it would take, and said he would be back the next morning. He arrived the next morning when he said he would, with all materials on hand. After the patch and float, and after hanging the door, he left that day, and came back the next afternoon to sand the patched areas. All of the work Del did was flawless. I know it is not rocket science, but I have done enough drywall repair to know that things don't always look perfect when finished. Del's work was perfect. You can't tell there was ever a gaping hole in the wall. He also gave me some advice on questions I had about other home repairs. He was courteous, energetic, yet busy while he talked. He is a great person to work with. I have had numerous experiences with drywall "professionals". I wish I had found Patch and Match much earlier. I have put him in my Rolodex for future jobs.

They did an awesome job, as the walls look like new and you can't tell they had been damaged. I have a very old home and the damage was completely fixed. They did a great job at a reasonable price and the man was very friendly.
