NATIONAL PROPERTY INSPECTIONS

First off, he didn't check the foundation. He missed quite a few things that are very important when inspecting a potential new home. The things that he did find, he told us needed to be repaired by a licensed professional. The realtor decided to use a 'handyman'. When Alan came back to check the work that had been done, he simply eyeballed everything. I feel that he should have mentioned the fact that all the repairs were done by someone without a license. He never brought any of his electrical testing tools in, he never checked on how many panes were in a window we had replaced nor did he check our attic at all. I was very disappointed with the end result of this experience. I would not recommend him to anyone purchasing a new home.

Alan was recommended by our real estate agent and he was very good. He came on-time, checked everything, and gave us the inspection report soon after he finished inspecting the house. He was very detail and spent approx. 4 hours to inspect the whole house. In his reports, he also attached color pictures to show major and minor findings. When seller fixed some of the findings we requested them to fix, Alan was willing to come back and re-inspect the job. He would then give a final report if those items passed (or not passed) the code. This is the first time we used NPI, and we were satisfied with the service. We highly recommend NPI/Alan Stark.
