Technician did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing the problem. Heater now runs great! Our problems together began when their tech ran a CO test in the house to see if there were any health issues. His meter was off the charts! Warned us of getting dizzy, nausea etc. I pressed for what we should do and how much it would cost - he was hesitant to relay this info and said they needed to have a secondary check from another meter, but warned it would likely run close to $2K in repairs. In the meantime I called the gas company and had them check my CO levels because I was a lot more alarmed than the tech seemed to be. The gas company warned that with the levels we were quoted we should open the windows/doors and exit the home. The gas company arrived promptly and metered the home/furnace for a long time. Found absolutely nothing. The seemingly bad metering by this company cost me my entire afternoon and a lot of worry having my dog and wife out in the cold. I was also told that they would contact me about testing again - this never happened. The next day (apparently not an urgent issue) their secretary called me to see how it went. That lead to their owner calling me. They were all nice enough people, but things just don't add up. In the end their owner told me they would refund some of my original cost of service to apologize for the poor process. That never happened. Short story, they did a good job fixing the initial problem, but their sketchy processes and poor ability to follow through are reasons I gave them a low score and would not recommend or hire again. Price: I feel like what they charged me was reasonable, not great, but no issue (except for lack of refund). Quality: to be fair, they fixed the issue I called about very well. Quite happy about this. Responsiveness: originally, good - but the lack of follow through really hurt them here. Punctuality: the other issue was the tech quoted me at one point that he would just be 5 min to finish up. I was going to run to Home Depot to purchase a CO monitor for my house (should have had already). He didn't seem to want me to go while he worked. He took over 30 min to finish up while my wife and dog were waiting for me in the car/outside in the cold. Then he said they would call me back later that day about checking again. Never did. I wonder if he knew they didn't need to after the gas company already checked. Something fishy here. Professionalism: at the end of the day this is where they are lousy. If their meter really was showing over 60 ppm and they believed that they should have followed up, they should have metered again, they should have welcomed the gas company also checking (not discouraged me from doing so). Get your equipment working, get your processes in place, and follow through with what you say you will (including the refund - even if I said it was not needed...you said you would do it).

Jake The Plumber showed up on time, with a smile and a positive attitude. He was kind, respectful, helpful and on time. He quickly found the source of the problem that was causing the leak ( we weren't able to figure out where the water was coming from) . He gave several solutions. His price was outstanding! I have found my plumber for life. If I ever have another problem I know who to call first My Buddy the plumber.

We have used another company for swamp cooler set up and shut down for years, but decided to have My Buddy do set up and shut down this year because they did a great job with our water heater and heater replacement. Austen was pleasant and got the shut down done promptly. The price I was quoted was what I was charged, which is always nice to not have surprises on the bill. Thanks My Buddy the Plumber!

EB was great today. He was on time and was very respectful to my home. He was honest about the issues and gave me several options but did not make me feel pressured in any way. Called MBTP on a Monday morning, was informed the service could be performed the following Wednesday morning. Precisely as promised, Taylor from MBTP arrived at 9 am. We discussed the a/c issues and possible causes. Within an hour Taylor had diagnosed the problem (broken fan motor) and had an estimate. Repairs were completed two hours later for a price less than the original estimate. Taylor took the time to explain the repair options and answer all of my questions. The air conditioner now functions perfectly. Outstanding service and professionalism!

The guys were so awesome! They were kind, gracious and respectful. They did their work in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves (big plus!!) I shopped around for a good while to get the best price for the most qualified work, and these are the guys! Derek came out and gave me a quick bid at the fairest price (out of the 6 plumbers I had bid it the job) the work was done exactly how the specs were drawn out and everything looked perfect. Chuck was our service man and he is a great guy and a hard worker! Thanks guys!

This is a great company to work with. We had an emergency water leak issue and needs a quick attention to be fixed. My plumber is out of the town today and referred me to call My Buddy. Jacquelyn answered my call and quickly scheduled me an appointment. Brandon came out right away and diagnosed the issue. We've had My Buddy out for a water heater replacement and then today for a water softener replacement. Our first water heater went out after only five years, and the replacement, which was a warranty replacement of the same model, only lasted three years. We completely lost trust in the company who had installed them so we called My Buddy the Plumber. They knew exactly why the previous two had failed -- they were familiar enough with the model to never use it -- and installed one that has a reputation for quality. I trust their recommendations because of our experience with them. We continue to call them because they're honest, they do great work, they install quality equipment, and they don't overcharge. I have no reservations about recommending them.

We were referred to My Buddy the Plumber because our family plumber passed away. They were very responsive to come out and replace a fill valve on a toilet at my mother's house. The technician arrived on-time and was there completed the work in about 30 minutes. The total charge ended up being $160 ($185 less a $25 senior discount) with a description of work on the invoice being "Rebuild Toilet". The toilet was NOT rebuilt, only the fill valve replaced. In addition, the valve is the noisiest I've ever experienced and takes almost 3 minutes to fill. From what I can see, a similar part at any home improvement store is about $10. I feel the price and description of work was not an accurate reflection of the actual work performed.

Taylor was my technician and did an excellent job of quickly troubleshooting the issue and fixing my system. He had it back up and running within the hour. Great customer service from beginning to end!

Brandon was super helpful in getting the job done. He was very professional. He also gave us some tips and advice on how to maintain our pipes better. The company was very responsive and was able to come after calling this morning. I'm grateful we have water again.

The sewer line was unknowingly only 80% replaced. A year later the 20% that wasn't replaced failed. We had paid for the whole thing to be taken care of, not partially. The plumber offered to fix it for another $5000. ( this is after we had paid over $16,000 initially) we ended up hiring another plumber to take care of it.

They gave me the most competitive quote, were very professional (always wore cover on their shoes to prevent making the house dirty) and considerate of my preferences for the work being done. Another company offered tuning of AC and Heater with any work and as soon as I mentioned it, they offered to do the same. Also, the heating wasn't working because of a loose ground wire and they came to fix it the same day I called. They also cleaned the other old drain I had to make sure all water evacuation was properly done in case of an emergency. Derek was very knowledgeable and helpful; I greatly recommend this company. I wish it was always that easy to find professional and fair priced labor.

Derek installed a new tankless water heater into my home and did an excellent job. He clearly explained all of my options so I could make the right decision for my family's needs. I'd definitely hire them again.

My Buddy the Plumber was very responsive and thorough. They went through the entire checklist from the inspection, and also went through and did their own inspection, finding a few other items that were in need of attention. They initially thought that they would not be able to install a tankless water heater due to the lack of options for the venting, but then figured out a way to do it through the chimney with an extra kit. They completed the work in a timely way and maintained great communication throughout.

TJ spotted the problem right away and fixed it. He was (as all of their employees who I have met), courteous, and very professional. I feel so fortunate to have stumbled upon such a great plumbing service. I've had bad experiences with other companies before--not these guys
