The garage job took a couple days longer than anticipated because of the thickness of the concrete and the unexpected paving layer beneath that, and also added $200 to the original estimate of $1500. He was a pleasure to work with. He started when he said he would, he always answered the phone. His bids were more than reasonable in this market, and his work was impeccable. All jobs were done perfectly and the place was left immaculate.
Description of Work: Moveman hand-demolished a redwood deck ($400); bulldoze-demolished a large double garage and attached shed including thick concrete pad and ancient paving underneath and a mechanic pit and removed all trash and refuse from the demo, and levelled the area ($1500 + 200); loaded up a truckful of enriched topsoil from local nursery (that was an additional $379 from the nursery, arranged by me), delivered it, and spread it evenly on the large new levelled "garden" area ($90).
