Description of Work: They did some re-tiling of a bathroom, replaced a portion of a wall that had some water damage and put molding along the baseboards. This was all done in a basement that had some water damage so they re-did tiling in the bathroom, re-did one wall and put in new baseboards.

Description of Work: I made an appointment with "The Best Handyman Services". They were scheduled to come out on Saturday to repair some baseboards and drywall, etc. that had been damaged due to a leak. They scheduler committed to have someone here Saturday around lunch time and then on Monday and Tuesday. No one came or called on Saturday, I called and left a message and never got a response. Now it is Monday midday and I haven't received a call or any one coming to do the work. I scheduled a carpet stretcher based on this company's commitment that they would come on Saturday and Monday to get the work done. Now I have to try and reschedule that work as well. Just very unprofessional way to do business. They have now lost my business (which I would be a regular customer since we have a large home and have no handyman skills) and now they have also received this negative review. Very unfortunate that is how they do business.

Description of Work: Matt was amazing to work with. Arrived right on time, went over my list of repairs and started working. He replaced all the water shut-off valves in my kitchen, laundry area and bathroom, none of which were easy. He also ran a new water line to my fridge and added 4 new electrical plugs. Would definitely use this company again especially if all the other employees are like Matt.

+ 0 moreUnlike other handymen services I've tried using, Thayne returns calls and emails promptly. His bid was very reasonable, his crew arrived when he said they would and worked diligently every day. Unfortunately, we had heavy rains after the install was completed, and within 5 days many of the boards had cracked and warped and it became noticeable that parts of the fence were a out of plumb. Thayne came right over when I called him and brought his guys back on the job, tearing out and replacing all the boards in question at no additional cost. Both times his workers were courteous and left a clean site. Some handymen services are a one-man band, and it was much better to have sufficient help to just get the job done quickly. Thayne's service is at the top of my list of handymen to call.

It was very cold, but they worked throughout the day and finished just as it was getting dark. We were planning to be away from the house for a few days and were quite happy they were ready and willing to complete the job before we left town. We have absolutely no complaints about the work they did and would not hesitate to call them if the need arises in the future.
Description of Work: Scraped and painted exterior window sills; removed, replaced, and painted soffit and fascia over patio, installed brick mold around exterior door.

He didn't realize the gasket he installed was smaller than the original which ended up spilling a lot of water when he refilled the toilet tank, but he quickly cleaned it up and was very professional. He was about 30 minutes late, but he did call to tell me about 15 minutes after he was supposed to be there.
Description of Work: He fixed my toilet after getting new parts from Home Depot, installed a light fixture and a new medicine cabinet.

Description of Work: Thayne "Cowboy" Gregory was recommended by my realtor for preparing my house for sale. He cleaned up the pool, which had been emptied, touched up the paint on the outside, and, later, replaced the water heater. I was very pleased, especially with his painting and plumbing. His prices were reasonable, and his perfomance was excellent and very professional. I would call him again and so do recommend him without reservation.
