Meticulous Home Remodel & Repair

I found Thayne and his team through Google by searching "Salt Lake City Handyman." I had called a couple of other Handymen that came up and none of them answered. Thayne answered quickly and said that the scope of work was no problem. He scheduled me for two days later. His crew came on time and worked very efficiently. They did great work and I'm very happy. I plan on hiring them again to repair the sections of drywall that were cut out in my garage after the new year.

Steve called before he came, and then came right on time. He did a fabulous job under difficult circumstances as the vents were quite high. A very workmanlike job. I was so satisfied that I have them coming next week for another job.

I needed a wall removed in a retail store. They came out the next day!. They were very easy to work with and their work was top notch!

We have been very happy with Meticulous Home Repair. We had a very difficult time finding someone who would help us with installation of an acrylic shower, and they were one of the few willing to take on the job. They also had nearly immediate availability and helped us get out of a serious time constraint bind (picture no working toilet or shower in a 1 bath house...not ideal). We were able to help complete parts of the project ourselves as well, like sanding down drywall mud, which was a real money saver. We would definitely work with them again on a remodel project should we have one in the future.

I recommend this company. They were easy to work with all the way through (from scheduling to billing). The tech that did the work was very knowledgeable, straight-forward about everything and did a good job. He upgraded our electrical panel from 100 to 200 amps. It did take longer than we expected but the work was well done. We also had him install a new water heater. Even though the project was expensive, it was price about $300 lower than an estimate we had from another company. I would recommend this company and use them again.

I was extremely pleased with this company. I called on a Monday and they were able to send a handyman (Neal) to help me with my list of repairs the next day. Neal was excellent. Arrived exactly on time. Was extremely knowledgeable about all items on my list. Made excellent suggestions and recommendations. Was very pleasant to have in my home for the day. Will definitely be using Meticulous Home Remodel and Repair often as my house continues to age (22 years old!).

After some delay I got the gutter people to my house is was AAA gutter. I can not praise them enough. They were outstanding and I never thought I would say that about gutter repair services. The Young man, again I can't remember names, went out of his was to make sure I loved everything he did. I had a tree growing out of one down spouts and a new one was perfectly replaced with not sign of the tree...HURRAY.. He took the soffit into the office to build and it came back fitting perfectly in the exact place with no reminding on my part. I have more work to do on a garage and I will have it done by the guy who repaired the house. He is really and artist with his work. I really had a great experience with both of these companies and have no problem referring them to any one or having them back in my home.

The work was done well and even though there was a problem with the size of the vent ( I had a four inch and the vent was 3 inches) the work was done. Very pleased with the work.

Everything went great. The doorway was set up perfectly, even better than before. He cleaned up everything when he was done and was courteous and professional. My only complaint would be that the price seems high for the amount of work, however the quality of the work was exceptional.

I had a leaking hose bib on the front of my house. I called another plumbing company to come out and fix it. Within two days after I paid to have the faucet fixed it started leaking again. I called them back to have someone come out to check it and they were so rude I thought "Boy, I need to find somebody to fix this that I can depend on". Enter the Best Handymen Services. Matt, the plumber came out one day after I called them. He took the faucet apart and showed me that there were no new parts on the faucet at all! He went to get the parts needed to repair the faucet. When he came back he had the faucet repaired within 15 minutes! I highly recommend The Best Handymen Services and will definitely use them again!! The labor was fine but they used what I would consider substandard products. They replaced all of our windows but they couldn't have the Rf value that we requested. They didn't frame any of the windows. You probably won't find a better price anywhere but you will get what you pay for. That's actually one of the best things I've had. That's pretty good. They were cheaper to any place else where; every place else was at least $2,000 more just for windows.

It was great. They were very responsive, took before and after pictures. I highly recommend them. I am still using them. I have been using them for the last year and a half. They have done all sorts of repairs for use in the past. We are a property management company, so I deal with thousands of contractors.

It went well. They showed up when they said they would and did the job because we went out of state. It was very nice to have somebody that we can rely on. I heard from my tenant that the clean up was not good. The pricing was reasonable.

They did good. I wouldn't have done it if I didn't think the price was fair. I don't remember having any problems.

They were fantastic. They subbed some of the stuff out and everybody was great.

The handyman arrived later than the appointment but called and let me know what was going on. He put the table together efficiently and hung two pictures. I'm pleased with the service.

They were extremely respectful and professional. They were always on time and did such a great job! We will use them for every project from now on.

Thayne and his crew were friendly, did good work for a reasonable price. I plan on hiring them again for work at our new home.

The first time they showed up, they only allowed about 30 - 45 minutes to work on the job. The second time, they came without the materials/equipment they needed to complete it correctly. The third time, with prodding, they managed to at least get most of what needed addressed, though not in a manner that will last or look good.... Thayne seemed like a nice enough guy, and maybe they are really good at something (?), but general handiwork doesn't seem to be their thing.

Thayne was very helpful and courteous with scheduling someone to come assess a grout issue in our bathroom. He had Richard here the very next day! Richard was quick, polite and did an amazing job! Definitely will be calling them again for future home repairs. Pricing was also VERY reasonable. THANK YOU!

Thayne did a great job! His price is reasonable, he is extremely courteous - he listens! And best of all, his work is outstanding!
