Description of Work: My house cleaner moved to st george I saw a big deal for sandy maid pros I had also noticed my neighbor used them in the past There ratings looked good except for a few one stated that the manager bryon was rude and unhelpful the other stated that it was difficult to schedule service as in it was like they did not want there business At any rate I bought the big deal to try them out I called to schedule and received a recorded message no options addressed my angies list big deal so i was put through to Bryon s voice mail His recorded message sounded sort of rude and demeaning They returned my call and told me to go to website to schedule cleaning as this is how it had to be done when you used a coupon or discount First it took awhile to find the link they dont make it easy second it was a long I mean long email questionnaire and then I was told they would call me on the day of service to let me know when they would be out that day I guess they think my time is not that valuable Anyways i could tell this company would send out deals but hate to honor them Make no sense I have used two other bid deals bought same day they worked out great the company was impressive and the jobs they did should have cost double But they understood why they did this To gain new business I do not want the cheapest deal I want great,honest work at a fair price So I will use them in the future for all my plumbing ,heating a.c. needs Whet they lost in revenue on the big deal got them a customer that will pay off a hundred times over You see my home is 12 years old i will need to replace water heaters for one soon a 2000 dollar job they will get In closing being an owner of the largest chain of Goodyear automotive centers in the west I know a little bit about customer service and the cost of gaining new customers I new Sandy maid Pros would not be a good fit for me They would have gave up 40 dollars on the big deal but received a long term customer paying 300 dollars a month 3600 dollars a year all for 40 dollars most businesses spend close to 500 dollars to get and retain new customers I hope the owed reads this as it would help them survive and prosper in this economy OH AND I FORGOT WHEN I READ BRYON S RESPONSES TO SOME BAD REVIEWS THEY WERE ALL IN CAPS Thats like yelling I thought at the time that was reason enough to pass on this company The management is condescending,talks down to customers I should say I gleaned all this from voice mail,phone message,email and reviews Im thankful I never went further with this company Thanks Howard

Description of Work: I began contacting them on Feb 8. I told them I had guest coming from out of town on the 21st and needed the service prior to that. They were prompt in their response but said they didn't have any appointments before that time. I had to go elsewhere. I would like to get the money refunded if possible. I assumed that the 8th was plenty of time to get an appt by the 21st. If I can't get them any quicker than that I can't use them. I need someone more responsive. Perhaps they got a big response to the deal and just couldn't fit me in. Not their fault but I didn't get my service so I would like a refund if possible.

Description of Work: I asked for cleaning the kitchen, 1 bathroom, interior windows and dusting, vacuuming, etc. It's a small area which was pretty clean to begin with. But I figured with the refrigerator cleaning I asked for; the oven, plus with the windows they would be there at least a couple hours.

Description of Work: Veronica vacuumed and dusted my upstairs and in my finished basement, mopped all the floors, did counters, cleaned 3 bathrooms etc. I was very pleased with her work. I will have her do my blinds and ceiling fans in the future. She was here 3 1/2 hours and was very professional and got right to work.

Description of Work: I had them do a complete cleaning (floors, vacuuming, 4 bathrooms, three bedrooms, laundry room.) We had been traveling a great deal and the house was in sore need of cleaning.
