M & O Cleaning Svc

I purchased a Groupon worth 5 hours of residential cleaning services through M & O Cleaning Services. I scheduled the appointment about 1 week ahead of time for 7/2/2010 at 11:00am. They called a couple of days before the appointment and asked to reschedule for 1:00pm on the same day, which I said was fine. Since the house is vacant, we would have to meet them there to let them in, so I asked if they would be calling before arriving or had an arrival window. I was assured that they would just be there at the scheduled time, so we just needed to be there on time. My husband got to the house about 12:45pm just to make sure they would not have to wait. By 1:30, no one had shown up, so I called them. No one answered, so I left a message requesting that they call my husband and left his name and number. Since my husband had taken time out from work to meet them, I continued to call them up until about 2:45, but never could reach anyone. He also called and left a message and got no return phone call and finally left after being there about 2 hours. I finally got someone to answer around 6:00pm and when I asked what happened, he verified my name and the house address, which was correct, and then asked if he could call me back in 5 minutes since he wasn't sure what happened. I never heard back from him. My husband finally got a hold of him this morning (the next day) and the guy basically just said that someone didn't show up and he was sorry. My husband explained that he took 2 hours out of his work day and couldn't understand why they couldn't have at least called him. The guy said he could just reschedule, so my husband said he would if someone could come tomorrow, but they guy said they couldn't do that since tomorrow is July 4th. My husband suggested that since someone obviously didn't show up for work on Monday, maybe they could make it up by working tomorrow. The guy said they wouldn't do that and then complained that they don't make any money from the Groupons anyway. We decided we didn't want to do business with this company, so I called Groupon and they issued a refund. There are a lot of cleaning services out there and I certainly wouldn't waste anymore time with this one.
