It was awful! Mr. Smith comes off very nicely, but tends to behave like a used Auto salesman, when it comes to pushing HIS ideas & opinions! After showing him what was wanted, & what to stay away from, he did as he damned-well pleased, killed my lawn & rose bush, piled dirt on my water-feature/rock garden, bent the decorative fencing & prepared to pour concrete right where HE wanted it! I asked his workers to stop, but they refused, saying they would only take orders from him! The porch he contracted to have built was not done the way I wanted it, & it is already falling apart. When did the CUSTOMER stop being right??? Apparently, as soon as you hire Jeremiah Rex Smith for the job! One star is too many! On Yelp, Patrick C. states, "I had my drive way repaved close to winter but insisted it wasn't to late in the season. I had him do the work, he was replacing sidewalk also so the city got involved. And thank goodness or i have no doubt my driveway would fall apart in a couple years. My initial bid was about $600 less but nickle and dime a bunch of additive and extras because of the weather, not a problem if it was up front about the extra cost. put handing me a bill from your truck in the middle of the street saying you need more money is horrible. He also ended up charging me for a 4x4 piece that he said wasn't going to cost extra. In the end i'm sure it's a study piece of concrete but I have tried calling several times because there is a dip in the middle and water gathers there when he promised it would drain correctly without a drain system put in. In the end my driveway cost more then the next bid and they were going to put in a drench drain system and do it correctly. Don't trust what this guy says, and his opinion is not right regardless of his nice trusting demeanor. Cross checking what he saying with half a dozon other concrete companies he has come up full of crap. Very frustrated i spend that much money when i know for a fact i could of got a better driveway with proper draining for less money in the end."
