 + -1 moreWade checked out the whole, very old, circuit before doing anything. We needed a new switch which required minor rewiring of the main panel, but all of this happened efficiently and professionally. He had all the parts needed and made sure that the new circuit and heat tape met industry standards and was installed correctly. The parts were available and he did a great job. We have used I-D Electric several times in the past and they always do excellent work.
Description of Work: We needed heat tape for our newly installed rain gutter. Wade Smith, the electrician, rewired the circuit and installed a new switch.

Description of Work: I have used I-D Electric 3 separate times now and wouldn't use anyone else! They came out to bid on moving a bathroom light fixture, adding outside outlets, upgrading outlets to GFC, and adding and improving outlets in the garage. They gave a range in each bid with a best and worst case scenario, which I appreciated. The electrician came on time and was more than friendly and courteous! I can't say enough about this company but will say that I am consistently amazed at how their bills have always come in at the lower end of their estimates!! You can't beat that!

 + -1 moreThey were professional, fast and accurate. They were fast, neat and clean. In the kitchen, they helped advise me on how many and there position, which I really appreciated.
Description of Work: They installed 5 ceiling lights above my kitchen counters, the price included the fixtures and bulbs, and they also moved some electrical plates. I have also used them to hang light fixtures. The high fixture in my entry was heavy and took a tall ladder (which they had) to remove. They charged me $130 to do this and remove/haul the existing fixture. They're always on time, efficient and nice. They send out 2 guys. Their price seems reasonable.

 + -1 moreThey were wonderful and prompt. Their quality of work was fantastic and all the way round. They worked as per my schedule. I asked them to come after 6.30pm and they came in. They didn't charge me any overtime charges and they stayed here until 9.30pm. I liked their promptness and their professionalism. They were very neat. They cleaned up all by themselves very well.
Description of Work: I used I-D Electric Co for electrical work. The last time I used them was about three weeks ago. They were covered under house warranty and so we had to pay only $60. They fixed lights that were mis-wired, they tracked down a short in my house that shook down plug in, they replaced plug in and they checked lightning in the backyard which was not working. Basically they corrected things that were mis-wired and which were not working.
