+ -1 moreNo idea how they have such a high rating here, they are rated MUCH lower elsewhere. Fishy. Went in to the store today to ask about upgrading my fireplace. Walked around the showroom for several minutes and it was completely empty. Not a single person anywhere at any of the desks. Finally, an employee came out from the back and walked right by me without even acknowledging me. I stopped them and asked if anyone could help me. They pointed without pausing to the area where I had been browsing and said "someone should be over there" and then walked right past me and out the door. Spoiler: there wasn't anyone there to help. Totally dismissive so I left If they treat customers who are looking to spend money this poorly imagine how much worse they must be once they get paid. Yikes.

+ -1 moreFantastic work from Hearth and Home. They came out to our place, measured and proposed a few options, installed the system, and did it on time and at the price that they quoted. We opted for a remote control operated gas system since we have other people stay at our place and we didn't want them messing with gas and lighters. Really, really happy with working with this vendor.

+ 0 moreService Tech callled to let me know he was on the way. He showed up promptly and got right to work. We had a remodel done on our home and because of all the paint & dust in the air, want to make sure our fireplace was clean and in good working order. Service Tech protected our hearth while working, cleaned up everything very well. We would use Hearth & Home again.

Description of Work: Hearth and Home has beautiful gas inserts for fireplaces. We found a couple that were very contemporary that we loved. We made several trips to their showroom, had them come out and measure our home for gas lines, and talked with several different salesmen. When we went to their showroom to finalize the deal, we ran into problems. Prices were added to the final bid that we had never seen before. We were told that we were getting a $200.00 discount from them; when, in fact, the manufacturer was offering that discount to the dealers. It was not a "gift" from Hearth and Home. My husband caught other items in their final bid that were duplicates. The salesman seemed surprised that we had caught the duplication. All of a sudden, red flags went up and we questioned the honesty of these people. We left without closing the deal and were sorry we couldn't do business with them. We really liked their product.

Description of Work: He checked my gas fireplace for a malfunction in the controls. He replaced the switch, vacuumed the interior of the fireplace and cleaned the glass. He was careful not to get any carpet dirty or create a mess. He explained how to ignite the pilot light and explained some of the functions of my fireplace that I wasn't aware of.

+ -1 moreTheir people were good to work with and the service was pretty good as well. They did a great job of following up with us and getting back out to fix the fireplace when it malfunctioned. They even followed up again after that to make sure all was well.
Description of Work: Keith Supply installed a gas fireplace and they replaced the front doors on it prior to the installation. There was already an existing space to install it as well. The gas lines had been ran by a neighbor of mine.
