Great service I have no complaints. The one thing that I was unhappy about Brandon fixed right away. In our hallway the existing paint showed after the job was done. I called Brandon the owner and without question he sent his employees back out to my residence and applied a second coat which made the job perfect. Quality service would definitely recommend.

Made appointment through the internet. Younger pleasant hispanic man came at the arranged date and time. He was pretty efficient with his time. Preparation was better than I expected and the finished job was very good. While the painter had limited English ability we we were able to communicate enough to get the job done.

Brandon responded quickly to our request for bids and was very personable and professional. He made recommendations on the color and sheen of the paint. The job was scheduled and his employee Mario arrived on time and began work immediately. He protected all of the furniture, carpeting and woodwork. He was very polite and barely took time for lunch. The job was finished within two days and we are very pleased with the results. I would hire this company again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

I chose them because of their good reviews and a friend said they did good work.they started on time, and I found whenever I called they answered quickly. the new construction stuff took about a week, and they did my basement in about 3 days.

My entire experience with Five Star Painting was pleasant and easy. I have hired this company twice now; the first time to paint the interior and the most recent time for the exterior of my home. I liked the job they did so much on the interior that I just had to hire them again to do the exterior work. From the first conversations with Brandon, the owner, to the painters themselves, my experience with Five Star has been exceptional. Each crew memeber exhibits professionalism and an excitement for their work. The prices were reasonable and they did more than just paint, as I needed some powerwashing as well. The prep work was extremely detailed. They did an excellent job of helping me understand the processes and answering any questions I had. Not knowing exactly what colors I wanted, they were extremely helpful in choosing something I am delighted with and happy to come home to every day. The crew cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful of my property. I am so pleased with the results and I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs painting services.

Great job! Very proffessional from beggining to end. They did all the prep work including masking and cleaning for paint prep. Good process in making sure full coverage with solid color. Clean up was also verynice with no spots, stains anywhere. Nice work!

I had 2 bedrooms, a family room, and a hallway, with each room having two colors to paint. I purchased Angie's List $199 painter for a day deal and it was just a little too much work for a single day, so the painter offered to come back for 1/2 day to finish the job at 1/2 the full day rate (just $100 more) The first day, he masked all the rooms and trim, and started with the base coat. I supplied all the paint, but ran out of one color, so he went down to the store to pick up another gallon and supplies during his lunch break. By the end of the first day, almost everything was completed, but the darker color needed another coat, so I asked him to come back the next day to finish and apply a second coat to the darker color. Overall it was a six gallon paint job in 4 distinct colors including taping and cleanup; quite a job for just one guy. I was very pleased with the quality of work. I've never hired a painter before, but this guy was top notch. He worked fast, made ZERO mistakes, and cleaned up after he was done.

Mario's work was very well done. The ceiling took a lot of time to cover the 'dirty beige' with extra white, but the result is really beautiful. We did have quite a bit of paint left over, but it will be put to use over time. I am pleased with the work that was done.

Brandon responded promptly with a visit and a bid for two separate projects. Alejandro showed up promptly at 8:30 both mornings and worked diligently to complete the painting. We were able to use an Angies List special and an additional reduced hourly discount. I was very pleased to have these projects completed professionally and in a fine fashion for a fair price. Strongly recommend.

Fast response, shoddy work. Cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I received a bid from Five Star for a vacant rental property and found the price to be competitive and liked the professionalism of Jordan Gross. A few weeks later I decided to go with Five Star and called at the end of the week to let them know I would like the work done. I was told that it would be completed the following week. On Thursday of that following week the job was not started and I received an email telling me that they would start the following Monday. I didn't receive word again until Tuesday when Jordan called me and said he would like to meet me at the property later that day to start the work and he would call me when he was on his way. I never received a call back so called him and got his voice mail. I left him a message that he didn't need to meet me, the back door was unlocked and his crew could start. Tuesday and Wednesday passed with no work performed until the strangest part of the whole ordeal occurred. Thursday morning I received an email saying there was a crew at the house and the work would be completed by Friday or Saturday. I went to the home at 5:30 that evening and no one had been there. There was absolutely no work done. At this point it had been two weeks since Five Star said they would start the job. I had enough and called the company to let them know I would not be using their services. I then received a call at 7:30 PM saying that they had been planning to start the job later that night. I found this unbelievable as you wouldn't think they would be working that late. One thing that surprised me was that after I canceled the job they offered no apology for the extreme delay in form of a lower cost. Even though I would not have accepted it, as I had no assurance that they would start the job, it would have showed that they wanted to make up to me the delay. I don't know why they never started the job and even told me that people were there working when they were not. I'm sorry I had such a poor experience with them. It seems that others have been very satisfied with Five Star. From this experience I would recommended that you have in writing when they will start and finish the work. I don't know if the reason may be that it was a very small home (the estimate was only around $1500). Maybe they are not interested doing smaller jobs?

I was very impressed with the professionalism exhibited by the supervisor, Jordan Gross. He has a superb, up-to-date knowledge of materials and techniques, and preps his painting crew beforehand about exactly what they will be expected to do. We scheduled the first two parts of the project while we were away on vacation, and when we returned, everything was perfectly done; the rooms were spotlessly cleaned, and except for the fact that there was new paint, you couldn't tell that the crew had even been there. As an added pleasant surprise, Jordan returned a pair of pants that he had taken to the cleaners because one of the crew had accidentally spilled paint on it. So I thought to myself, "My, my, my, I have never seen such careful painters," and looked forward to the last part of the project. Things didn't go so well on this leg, as the crew was much more careless, getting sanding dust all over everything. It took me 3-and-a-half hours to clean up the mess. But, Jordan, being the classy person he is, deducted a very generous amount of money from the final bill that more than compensated for my time. Overall, then, I was completely satisfied with this experience. Both the quality of the job and the care shown by Jordan make me able to recommend Five Star with total confidence.

Excellent. They made sure the job was done on time so that I could move in on time and they came back after to touch up any dings from the move.
