Electric Rooter Drain & Sewer

This was not an emergency since the another plumber had cleared tree roots which were restricting the flow. So their second inspection/opinion was scheduled a couple days out, which was fine. They were fairly prompt and got to work right away. They encountered some remaining roots but told me that the mainline was in great condition and that no liner was needed! Since there was some minor debris buildup, I asked if they could perform a thorough rooting/cleaning. They agreed and brought in a large rooter that would scrape the walls clean (the first plumber had used a wimpy rooter that could be rented at a home center). I was very impressed with their professionalism and honesty. I highly recommend them and will use them again! Saved me lots of money on a unnecessary service.

My sewer line needs to be cleared of roots periodically. It works best when the cleaning is done from the line on the roof. Some companies won't do any roof cleaning. The guys from electric determined they could safely go up on my roof and removed the roots. The cost was very reasonable. I will take their recommendation and clean the line each fall.

One call to John and he promised to be here in two hours because they were on a current call and another customer was ahead of us. John arrived on time with Don within the two hour time frame. They diagnosed the problem. Cleaned out the sewer line and had us back to normal within an hour. They were clear about the charges that included an extra $50 for after hours work. We were having some plumbing issues due to roots in the pipes. I called to schedule an appointment and they were able to fit me in right away. They gave me a window between 8:30 am and 10:30 am and were finished by 10:00 am. I was pleased by the responsiveness, the professionalism of making sure the job was complete before leaving (they ran the showers and toilets to make sure our draining issues were resolved) and the price seemed very fair.

At the recommendation of a plumber I had Electric Rooter in about a year ago to clean a floor drain. After hearing stories of flooding disasters from friends, I called Electric Rooter to come ensure my mains to the street were completely clear. I have two mains that meet in the front of the house and then out to the street. I was happy with their work, and would definitely hire them in the future and recommend them. My one complaint is around timeliness. I was scheduled for the 8:30-10am window. At 10am I had heard nothing so I called them. They had gotten stuck on a difficult morning job, so we rescheduled for the afternoon 2-4pm window and that worked out. I would have appreciated it if they had called me in the morning to update me rather than my having to call them. I could have planned out my day better.

Rooting of the main sewer drain went fine, once the truck finally made it my house. Somehow the last number of my address was changed and the guys were knocking on my neighbor's door instead of mine (the neighbor wasn't home). I'm 99.9% sure I gave them my correct address (it's not like I have multiple addresses and get confused). I happened to spot the truck across the street, but they drove off before I could catch them. When I called in to find out what was happening, I learned of the address problem. Apparently they had even been by once before I spotted them. They came right back, did the job, and everything is fine. It would have been nice if they had called after the first miss, since I could have corrected the problem earlier (I know they had my phone number correct because they had to call me back when I made the appointment the day before). The bottom line is that the guys doing the work are capable and professional, but the front office might need to up their game a bit. To be on the safe side, I would recommend that you have the dispatcher read back your address when making an appointment.

Overall it was great. They were able to provide same day or next day service. They were a little later than the 3 hour arrival window I was given, but the dispatcher was responsive when I called to find out when the crew would arrive. The crews were professional and finished in a timely manner. They explained to me what they did and answered all of my questions. I was thrilled that they did not charge me for the second visit.

Plumbing Plus contracted ELECTRIC DRAIN and SEWER ROOTER to clean my sewer main. This is my first experience with the company and the last time I will let them on my property. They jetted my sewer main and left a huge mess on the floor of my basement. I understand that it's not a clean process but clean up after yourself! They just left when they were "done" they didn't let me know and give me a chance to come and inspect their work. There were huge sewage puddles on the floor and the clean out plug was left off to the side. Extremely Unprofessional! I would give them an F but they did, in fact, clean out the sewer.

I had problems in the drain system of my house. They cleared the whole house drainage. My overall experience is good.

Guys showed up on a Sunday. Came in 15 minutes and started working with the big snake machine. It took a while but they cleared the line. They were polite, cleaned up all messes and did a fine job.

we had a sewer smell going from the laundry room up the wall into the other bathrooms. we felt it was a backed up sewer,and called to have it checked out.reps found the problem just looking at it. called for another truck with the proper equip. to take care of the problem. the 1st reps took picture with phone sent it to the other repair crew and discussed it with them to be sure they would arrive with all of the correct pipe sizes and fittings to do the repair properly. they were finished by noon on the day we called them. the smell lingered for a week and a half before going away.we were advised by the rep what to expect because we do not have a window or source of circulation in our laundry room. were told that in most cases this would take care of the problem we were very happy from start to finish

Had used the company before and will use them again. Workmen needed a reminder not to track winter dirt and snow onto carpets. They promptly cleaned up all stains. Drains working well.

We called and set up an appointment on the same day. Two technicians arrived on time. One of them was the same person who came to help. He also remembered us. We told them that to access the problem point of the main drain, they need to remove the toilet. They were done within an hour. They wipted down the walls and the floors. They were very professional. It was $30 more than last year for the same service.

The blockage was some distance away from the house. Once they'd located it with their camera, they worked with the auger until they finally were able to break through. They were professional and didn't give up until they had located the problem. They also gave us some tips on how to prevent the problem from recurring.

We were overdue for service, which created some problems, but the serviceman coudn't have been better.

After looking over the basement drain system, they went back to the sump pump itself and kept working with it until it began working. Apparently the pump impeller was stuck and I did not know what to look for. Eventually it began working. Within 15-20 minutes of their arrival, they had the problem solved at minimal cost, especially for a Sunday emergency call.

Quoted $110 at time of estimate, and verified the amount twice. After work was completed, their service techs strong-armed me into paying a much higher price. I was in fear for my safety the entire time. I will not use their services again or refer them to friends.

I feel that they did a very good job. I call them and use them every time I need work because they're reliable and pretty reasonable. I know that I will use them again.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT! THEY SAVED US A LOT OF MONEY. I FELT THEY WERE VERY HONEST, AND THE COMPANIES CONCERN WAS FOR WHAT WAS BEST FOR ME AND MY FAMILY AND NOT TO JUST MAKE SOME MONEY. WORKERS SHOWED UP ON TIME.
