It went well.

I had a tenant with a clogged and leaking sink. I called Drain Champ and they provided me a quote for the service. $60 for the visit/sink and then another $30 for additional sinks/plumbing issues. They came out the next day and got the issue resolved. There was also an issue with the kitchen sink so they checked it out while there. They told me that the kitchen drain is fine, it's just that it's connected to the washing machine pipe so it drains a little slower while the washing machine is running. They were very responsive and came out quickly, price was pretty competitive too.

We just installed a water softener. Upon first flush through and regeneration, we noticed our small floor drain could not keep up at all. Since the regeneration cycle could happen at any time, we looked up someone on Angie's List with good review and called Drain Champ. He came next day, on the weekend, right on time. Quoted us $60 if weekday, $90 if weekend. We were worried about flooding over the weekend, so we chose the $90 option. There was no pressure. He cleaned it out quickly, did not waste any time, and we got back to our day. We have since flushed the water softener with absolutely no problem. We proudly display this magnet on our go to board for good service providers.

Dan runs a small service company, with an emphasis on "service." He was both quick and on-time (not necessarily the same thing). I called him at 8:45, he said he would be at my house at 10:00, and he arrived around 9:55. He did a clean job - no mud or muck) and was done in less than an hour. It was nice to be able to just go home at the agreed upon time, have Dan show up and do the job, and be free to go about my day without wasting time. No losing half a day to "we will have someone there between 1:00 and 4:00," which is a scenario I've experienced too often with other plumbers. Yet the price was somewhat lower than what I've paid other plumbers for similar services (in part because Dan gives a steep discount for doing more than one drain at a time). Dan's approach to my need for a new toilet was "just the facts," which I really appreciated. Many plumbers would try to sell me a package of the plumber's brand of "magic toilet" plus installation (and maybe a service contract). Dan just explained the situation, recommended several specific models of new toilets at different price points (explaining what you get for the higher prices), and then quoted me $60 if I want him to do the installation. No pressure, just information. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased. I've tried a number of plumbers over the years without finding one that I really liked. That problem is now solved!

I thought Drain Champ did a great job of first, clearing the clogged drain line, and then repairing the leaking joint in the drain pipe. Daniel is very professional. He explains what needs to happen, and then gets it done. I had a flapper on one of my toilets that needed to be replaced, which is simple. He gave me the flapper, without any charge, in spite of my urging that he charge me for it. If you need a drain line cleared or a plumbing repair, you should consider Drain Champ.

Call the company & got a quote. Showed up on time. Checked things out and got to work. He really earned his money today. Two drains were easy. The last two, the kitchen sink and downstairs bathroom sink, were tough. Spent the time necessary to to it right the first time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Couldn't have been easier. Dan arrived right on schedule, which I really appreciate since I have to come home from my office to meet service people.

They were great. They came when they said they were going to show up. They actually came another time and re-cleaned the drain because they had some pipe work done or something.

I love him; he is awesome. He is very honest. He also is always very caring. If you need his help, he tries to make it work so that he can be there to help you. He makes himself available. No one can beat his pricing at all. I paid for my kitchen faucet and he didn’t mark it additionally at all. His name is Daniel. He is really phenomenal and I appreciate him greatly.

Our laundry room drain has been getting progressively slower for several months. I've put various drain cleaning liquids down there several times over the months, some have helped a little, none has completely fixed the problem. I also used a hand-operated drain snake with a similar unsatifactory result. Last week, I called a local plumber that had a coupon for drain cleaning in the weekly ads. To be fair, he told me up-front that the $50 drain snaking in the coupon probably wouldn't do any good - what I really needed was his $424 high pressure drain cleaning (just for the single laundry room drain!). I told him all I could afford was the $50 drain cleaning. So he quickly ran his snake down the laundry room drain then left without running a single drop of water down the drain or doing any other test of his work. And he was right - the drain was even slower after his half-hearted attempt. Then it occurred to me that I hadn't checked Angie's List. When I did, Drain Champ's high ratings jumped out at me, so I called Dan. He arrived on time on the appointed day. He looked briefly at the laundry room drain, then looked at the kitchen drain directly upstairs from the laundry drain, and immediately concluded that that was the real culprit, even though we hadn't experienced any problems in the kitchen. When Dan removed the kitchen trap, it was obvious he was right - it was almost completely blocked by black, greasy sludge. So he ran his snake into the kitchen drain and down through the laundry drain. After thoroughly snaking out the drain, he tested his work by running the kitchen faucet and draining the washing machine on its largest cycle at the same time, without the slightest hint of slowing in the drain. He then offered to replace my corroded metal kitchen with a new plastic trap (much less susceptible to sludge buildup) for his cost - $7.00. Now that I've learned about Dan, I won't even consider calling anyone but him to clean my drains.

We used them pretty recent because we had several ongoing issues and he solved all of them. The job they did was amazing. We would tell others that we would trust with anything in our house and we almost gave them a key to the house to work. They were so totally honest and we had a situation where they could have absolutely charged us bazillions of dollars and instead sorted it out, so they could find what was reasonable and realistic. We would use them again and we also refer them all the time. They are the only ones our family uses. These guys were unbelievable and they came in the middle of a snow storm in March to dig a hole because we had an exterior leak. It was like a blizzard and they were out there digging that hole and solving the problem. Every time we used them, it has been amazing. They are the only ones we would use.

Great experience. Called at 9am, set appointment for 1:30pm. Came on time, finished quick. Price was very reasonable compared to prior drain cleaning services. He gave suggestions on how to avoid the slow drain in the future. Would definitely use again.

There was standing water in our basement. Come to find out the drain in the floor of the laundry room was clogged and the HVAC unit drained into it. I used a 3 foot snake and some draino with no luck. I found Drain Champ on Angie's List and like the reviews so I called at 8am on 07/27/11. Daniel was very professional over the phone and said that he would be out at 10am. I asked if 11 would be OK and he said no problem. My wife was home when Daniel showed up and he diagnosed the problem and said he would unclog it for $60. He was done in no time. I got home as soon as he was leaving and he snaked the drain to the main and also gave me some tips on how to prevent the clogging in the future. I was very pleased with the price and service of Drain Champ.

He had to replace part of the soil stack in order to install a flange (there was no existing flange) and only charged 125.00, his original quote, despite the extra work and parts, which included the flange, some pipe and fittings, a wax ring, and a sawzall blade to cut the old cast iron pipe. (It's an old house-1920's). Oh, and he had make a trip to HD for an oddball part that he didn't have on his truck. Most of the other plumbers I've used in the past would have charged at least twice what he did.

Friday evening I noticed water backing up at the lowest drain in the basement. I called that evening and they set up a time to come by the next day at 10 AM. The serviceman came on schedule and used a rooter on the sewer line access points in the the yard. He cleaned out a large clump of roots that were blocking the line. Problem solved. Very reasonable price, especially considering the last minute call on the weekend. Very pleasant to work with. Will use again for regular sewer line maintenance.

Everything went fine as usual. Dan knows what he is doing and sarrives on time and gets the job done. I have recommended him to several of my friends.

Drain was clogged. We needed it fixed quickly as house was up for sale and to be shown later that day. Dan was able to come within an hour. He did a great job, both neat and thorough. I have used another service to clean darins from time to time and thought he was very good. On this date, he was out of town, so I called Drain Champ. The business name is well-chosen and justified. If I were to have another problem. I would use Drain Champ.

Excellent response time. Knowledgeable and reasonably priced. would have spent a lot more with someone else.

We called at 8:00 PM on a Saturday night after realizing water was backing up in our basement when the toilet was flushed. He came over right away and was at our house within a half hour. He put a snake out 110 feet, but could not clear the drain. He said he felt resistance at about 25 feet, suspected we had a "belly" in the line and recomended we get someone out to run a "jetter" through the line. Although he is getting a jetter in March, since he did not have one now and was unable to clear the line himself, he did not charge us anything for the after-hours house call. He was super nice, very professional and wonderful to deal with. I would absolutely use him again and highly recommend him to everyone with a drain problem.

Dan also contacted Lowe's to get the numbers of the toilets he thought would be right for me. He also packed the old toilets in the new toilet boxes and put them in my garage for me. He is punctual and cleans up after himself.
