Annual checkup of air conditioning. Levi arrived on time, was courteous, friendly, competent and efficient. Definitely recommend.

Won't know that till it is installed on Monday. They have never let us down in 30 years of being their customer!

Everything was fine but the AC didn’t work. Turned out to be a loose wire. He also showed me an electrical switch that was showing its age on the unit so I had him swap it out. He had the part and I didn’t want any problems with hot weather coming. Overall an excellent experience and he wore his mask and gloves!

Came the same night, got necessary part and returned the next morning to install

The technician and service manager responded to a request I had after a leak was detected despite a biannual service inspection contract. They immediately came and spent hours troubleshooting the entire house and finding the leaks then returned and spent 6 hours meticulously fixing and double checking each and every CSST connection in the entire house. They pressure tested the gas system until everything was perfectly secure and there was zero leakage throughout the system. They then did an entire tune up of my HVAC system as a courtesy and charged me for one hour of work. Basically, they took a mediocre and frustrating situation that I could never have attempted to handle personally ( and I’m great with basic handyman skills) and did the best job I could have ever expected because we had been customers for a long time and they cared about fixing the problems; even when a couple of the items may have been out of their financial responsibility. I was truly impressed and it is how I have always run my business so it made a big impression and impact on me. I’d like to personally thank Ryan who did all the work, Jerry who authorized the work, and Denise and Spenser who were also both helpful in scheduling and payment processing etc. I would highly recommend Design Comfort to anyone as an honest and responsible and professional service and plumbing, furnace and air conditioning sales installation and contract upkeep company. If you run into a problem and communicate the issue, they fix the problem and are straight forward with the limits of the job and the levels of expectation and the cost and benefits to you. Very good. The only issue is that the service provider did not have a filter available, so I have had to order replacement filters from Amazon, I will have to replace it myself - no small task for a not mechanically inclined 82 year old.

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. Please just skip using this company.. there are so many to use from. This company allowed my ex-husband to call and verbally authorize service to an address that we had sold months earlier. They allowed someone who did not legally purchase a service contract with them to charge for a visit on my account. I found this out when their technician B- was at my new home providing a service I had paid for two years prior. When I began to question the technician about the billing discrepancies, he became angry. He refused to listen to what I was talking about when I pulled up the fraudulent billing for the service I don't live at or own. He accused me of using profanity, got physically in my face, left our house slamming the door and sped out of our condo complex. I was the original person to call this company for service, and have paid for all the service calls and contracts to our old home. All the charges and contracts have been signed by me and charged to a credit card that I have owned separate from my ex-husband. I have taken financial responsibility for all of the repairs this company has performed. They now want me to prove I legally own the service contract. HUH???? I find a thread in everything I write written about this company... they seem to pass the buck on everything that happens, and then blame the customer. I dont find these people to be willing to admit fault or ever try to make things right when they drop the ball. The most common tactic they take is to shame and bully- never taking accountablility. Very sad when you are paying for them to service very expensive items in your home. LIke a new ac. Sad state of affairs. Mikel S

The technician argued with me about replacing the part. His theory was to wait a year, or until the next summer, and I told him that I wanted it replaced immediately. It took them two weeks to order, receive, and then replace the part that was needed for the air conditioner. I have been using Design Comfort for about 30 years now and within the last 1.5 years, it seems that their quality of work and professionalism have slowly started to deteriorate.

We are on a scheduled maintenance plan. They've changed their name to "At Your Service".

Brendan arrived on time (early, actually) and did a great job in checking everything out keeping us informed of his progress.

We needed a couple parts but it was all handled in a timely manner and to our complete satisfaction. We've had a contract with Design Comfort for years from the time they put a new furnace into our home.

Called first thing in the morning. They sent an estimator who arranged installation within hours. Price was more than expected but used Angie List Coupon which helped a little. Installers were experienced, patient with questions and free with explanations during the installation. Installation was clean and well organized to fit in small furnace room. Would consider for other work as we may relocate laundry room soon.

We have worked with Matt before so he is familiar with our properties. He is courteous, smart and very thorough. He was on time and if any issues came up he was very clear at explaining the issues. We continue to book maintenance plans knowing that by keeping the units well maintained and serviced we avoid larger charges due to negligence.

They have very reasonable prices and helped maintain the furnaces and A/C units. They have done great work and very honest with me. They have not tried to pull any tactics on me.

It was an okay experience. The humidifier they put in the system hasn't really worked well since they sold me the system. We have been going back and forth on that for the last 1 1/2 years. I also have a service contract to service my furnace and A/C unit in the spring and fall. They come every 6 months. I paid upfront for the service contract. That has been going okay. I will unfortunately use them again in the future because I have a service agreement so I am stuck.

I haven't made a decision yet. There was no charge for the service because it was part of a plan.There were some parts that I bought. They were good. They were on time. I would use them again.

Fast, appears to be efficient, friendly guy. Cost not trivial

When the technician came out on the 14th of May to do the annual service and check on my air-conditioner he said a $104 part needed to be replaced. I agreed. He then spent several hours trying to figure out why the air conditioner did not work after replacing the part. He was unable to complete the service. Today one of the owners of the company came out to remedy the problem. After a couple of hours working on the unit, he told me that while he could repair the unit, he did not recommend putting any more money into such an old appliance. I explained that for various reasons, I wanted to limit my expenditures and while acknowledging that the unit is VERY old and that it's miraculous it is still working, I would prefer NOT to replace it. He then told me that for $297 he could guarantee that it will make it through the summer and possibly another year beyond that. I was thrilled! I have had previous experience with this company concerning my old furnaces and they have been very understanding and willing to make repairs that have kept the units running even though they are old and should ideally be replaced.

Tune-up went OK, but of course they found something wrong that needed parts. $136 price initially quoted was for coming out to look at the furnace and work for one hour. The additional work of installing the fresh air vent was a ten minute job of installing a flexable pipe (similar to a dryer vent pipe) from the exterior hole to the furnace area total of 7 feet. I still have to caulk the connection.The bill they handed me was outragious as they charge $300 per hour to do other work. I would not recommend this company to anyone because of their outragious pricing and lack of upfront honesty.

I made an appointment two days in advance to have a knowledgeable person advise me whether to repair or replace my noisy, old swamp cooler, and provide an estimate to do so. A Technician arrived, listened to it, and recommended replacement. When I asked about the cost, he said that his company does not do work on swamp coolers. He then told me that he would have to charge $58.00 for the consultation. I was not told when I phoned that there would be a charge for the call, or that the Company does not do the kind of work I wanted done.
