Technician quoted $400 to replace water valve. I asked him to break the cost down re: how much was the part vs how much for labor. He would not, despite my pressing. The office would not break the cost down either. I called the Asko 800 number and learned the part cost $73 dollars and shipping $13. This is point where I joined Angies list. American Appliance did the entire job for $187 and were completely transparent with the breakdown of their charges.
Description of Work: Diagnosed a bad water valve on our Asko Dishwasher. Diagnosis was $90
