Interior and Exterior Residential and Commercial Painting.
We had Tyler come out to give us a bid for the work. The family room walls were in bad shape due to previous home owner painting and mudding over wall paper. We discussed the condition with Tyler and he said he could get it to look great. We did not need to float out entire wall, but his crew could sand them down to make them look nice. A crew of 3 men came out at first. They were extremely sloppy. When they finished the family room, it looked terrible. The wall paper seems underneath popped out so badly, that was all you saw when you looked around the room. There were also numerous drips, runs, and paint on the ceiling, ceiling fan and built in cabinetry. I told Tyler he needed to come out and look. He was hesitant, but did come the next day. When he got to our house, he argued with me saying that I was "lucky it looked that good" given the condition the walls were in before. I pulled out his bid and re-read what it said as far as finishing it out, and he finally admitted that he had missed the seams when he had given the bid, and it would be money out of his pocket to fix it. I told him it needed to be fixed. He did send a dry wall man out to fix the areas and then he had his crew come back to repaint. That is when things really went badly. The (same) crew did a terrible job when they came back. Paint lines were terribly sloppy, they got paint on trim, windows, tile floor, carpet, fireplace, ceilings, wood floor, ceiling fan, kitchen table, kitchen chairs, kitchen cabinets, stove, top of the refrigerator and a leather couch. They also broke three wooden blinds when they put them back up. Again, I told Tyler he needed to come out and look at this. He did a few days later. He was actually surprised at the terrible finish quality but told me he had seen that crew get offended and then purposely do a bad job. That alarmed me. I asked him how we would fix it. He said he would send out a new crew, definitely not the same crew. I said that sounded fair. I didn't hear from him for a week or so, and then he called on July 3rd and said he could send a crew out that morning. I told him with the holiday that wouldn't work (we wouldn't be home), but when would be another time that would work and that also I needed more than 30 minutes notice. He said he couldn't give me a date, but would get back with me. Another week went by and he called again in the morning and said could he send someone over in about 20 minutes. I again told him I needed more notice. Finally he arranged for a crew to come out the next day. My jaw dropped when I opened the door the next morning to find the same crew standing there. I asked Tyler why he brought the same crew back when he had given his word that he wouldn't and I explained that at this point I was not at all comfortable with them in my home. I also asked him if he was planning to stay to oversee things. He said no, he wouldn't stay, and since I was so inflexible, I was lucky to get him back out at all. At that point I told him they would have to leave. He told me he was happy to take half payment if he never had to come to our house again. I paid him half the bid amount and then had to get someone else to fix their terrible painting job and needed to replace broken blinds. The broken blinds were another difficult situation. They were wooden blinds that were 10 years old. To replace just three of them and leave the other 5 would look odd. The wooden ones were very expensive, but Tyler had suggested that we replace all of them with faux wood and split the cost. I said that sounded fair. The last day he came over I asked him about the blinds, he said he didn't ever remember saying that. I did call the owner, Paul, and told him our concerns. He listened to me, but was very unconcerned. He said Tyler is good at his work, and I must be one of those very few unsatisfied customers. Overall, I found Tyler to be unprofessional, arrogant and rude. Also, I will not call him dishonest, but I had to press him very hard to keep his word, and clearly with the paint crew he sent back and the blind replacement, he did not keep his word. I also found their painting crews to be of terrible skills, sloppy, and unprofessional (the first day they were here they thought I had left and I could hear them in the family room dancing around the room playing with one of our children's musical instruments). I would never use CertaPro again and I would never recommend them to anyone. Update as of 01/24/14- When they said they accepted 1/2 payment, they stated when Tyler was here and yelled in my face, he said he would "take 1/2 payment" because he "never wanted to see me again." They had a drywall contractor mud only 4 seams, not the entire room. There is beyond touch up work remaining. It was paint drip, paint on walls, flooring, tile, cabinets, appliances, fireplace, fireplace mantle, furniture and carpeting. There were paint drips in the foyer area. There were 20 different paint runs that needed to be sanded down and repainted. Tyler did offer to pay for new blinds that were faux wood and split the cost. They never offered to replace any clips on blinds, they only offered to replace the blinds as new ones. I never made any threats from day one or anytime about leaving a review if the work wasn't done to my satisfaction. I would highly advise anyone working with this company to beware. They will change their story to tell you what sounds good to protect themselves.

We tried over and over to satisfy this member and were unsuccessful. It is true that we accepted 1/2 payment, but that was because we feared we would not get paid for any of our work. While re-drywalling the entire area to paint was never part of the bid, we did pay for a drywall contractor to re-mud the entire area after we had painted it and then we subsequently repainted it. It is true that there was some touch-up work and clean-up remaining (as is quite common throughout a painting project), but we found it next to impossible to arrange a time that she would agree to to get those areas taken care of. We did not offer to pay for all new blinds. A clip on 3 of her old, brittle blinds did break and we offered to replace those, - not all of her blinds. Her blinds are original to the home which was built in 1994. We are sorry that after repeatedly trying to make this member completely satisfied we were unable to do so even after paying out to other trades people more than the job was contracted for. Reviews are vitally important to our business and we knew all along that this review was coming as she threatened from day one that she would leave a review such as this if she did not get exactly what she wanted (whether or not it was part of the contract). If anyone ever has a concern or question, I am always available and happy to discuss. I would also like to refer people to our hundreds of raving fan customers that we do work for every year. They were punctual and the price was reasonable but the job was pathetic. The guy, whoever has the local franchisee, sent out a husband and wife couple who were just the nicest people, but absolutely did not know how to paint. The guy, who sent them, knew it. They trampled my garden in serious ways. We had to call them a number of times for the paint job. The best example that I can give is that there was a place which was really obvious on the header of one of our windows, on which the paint had bubbled out and needed to be scrapped off. The reason it had bubbled off was because there was a crack in the wood underneath. When I pointed that out, I said that it has to be caulked, primed, and painted. Ten minutes later, they came out and said it was done. I asked them if they were done and they said they did. I will never have them again. The work was worse than we thought as there was no prep work and that caused wood rot and damage that should not have been there.

Thank you for the feedback. We do make a concerted effort to do a great job and provide a great painting experience for all of our customers who we value greatly. Sometimes we do fall short of our own high expectations. When these rare occasion occur we do try to do whatever we can to make things right with the customer. After the initial group went out to do the project there were several areas of concern which eventually led us to sending out an entirely different group who did repaint the majority of all areas. After their work you assured us that everything was done to your satisfaction. If there are still areas of concern, please contact us and we will take care of those as well. The initial group who went out to your house although they had done several jobs successfully in the past did let their quality slide for a number of reasons and we have not had them work on any other projects since. One of our Core Values is to 'Practice Continuous Improvement' and we do whatever we can to live by this. As I said, if there are still concerns, please contact us to let us know. Paul Limburg Owner

From the start, CertaPro was very professional. I live in Florida, my daughter lives in the house in Salt Lake City, so we were coordinating between the three of us. They kept both of us informed at all times, met all of their appointment times, were courteous and answered all questions. The house looks wonderful and I will use them again for future painting jobs.

The paint job didn't work out that well the first time, but they did get it fixed and they got it done fast. They kept doing it until I was satisfied. So, that impressed me. The person I got the quote from hired some subcontractors, who did not do a good job. They missed a lot. When I called Certa Pro Painters about it, the person I got the quote from came out himself to fix the work.

The painters arrived on time and got right to work. They did a great job prepping the rooms including filling nail holes and some mudding that was required in the bathroom from a recently installed ceiling fan. It was a fair price for quality work. Everything looks great and I will turn to CertaPro for my future painting jobs.

fantastic job, i definitely will use them again.
Description of Work: I was a little nervous about having a painting crew come to finish painting my basement. I am dentist and have an eye for detail, but more importantly I painted residential and commercial properties for 5 years before becoming a dentist and therefore I know what a good paint job looks like and what quality paint is. I also know what is involved in doing quality prep work and finish work. After toying with the idea of painting my basement myself for several months, I decided that I didn't have enough time and that I needed to have someone do it for me. I called certa pro and the process was very easy from start to finish. The entire job only took a couple of days and the workers were very professional. All prep work was done quickly and effectively. Painting was done, we did 3 tones with a primer coat underneath. No drips on the walls or doors, lines dividing paint colors were very straight with no bleed through and the quality of paint was very good. I have spent alot of time staring at the wall and the lines ( I know that is weird, but you can't change your personality) and everything looks great. I couldn't have done it better and it would have taken me alot longer. When all was done the crew cleaned up and i couldn't have had a better experience. It has now been about 2-3 years since my experience with certa pro and the paint still looks like new. fantastic job guys.

A three man crew arrived at the agreed time (9 AM). The crew chief and I went over the job and picked out a color of paint. The crew chief left to get the paint and the remaining two workers set about repairing the cracks and masking off the brick and soffits. After about 10 minutes I decided to find out how they were going to apply the paint, spray gun or rollers. If they were going to spray I needed to move a vehicle that might get some over spray. When I asked the two workers about the application method neither seemed to understand or have much of a knowledge of English. After determining that rollers would be used, I went into the house. It seemed odd to me that two teenage boys would not be able to communicate in English. I decided to call CertaPro to find out if they took steps to ensure that their workers were here legally. After three phone calls, to three different numbers; one ten minute hold and two left voice mails I got a call from the company owner. He said although they did not use E-Verify all of his employees had the required documents to work in the U.S. Five minutes later I got a call from the estimator that I met with to get the job. He said that they have always used E-Verify. After a short conversation we agreed that the company owner probably had the best understanding of CertaPro's hiring practices. We left the situation at that and I went about my business in the house. About five minutes later the crew chief was at my front door (without the paint) telling me that he and his crew were leaving. In that five minutes his crew had taken down all of the masking, put away all the equipment including ladders and were getting in the vehicle. I called the CertaPro owner, he was unavailable. I called the estimator and he told me that CertaPro was not interested in my job and then proceeded to accuse me of confronting his crew with accusations using vile profanity, both of which are completely untrue. I asked what was going on and was again accused to being a bad person. I told him his accusations convinced me that his workers are not here illegally. My next call was to the local ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) to report the incident. I called Angie's List that afternoon and made a report over the phone on this service provided. I waited two weeks to give CetraPro a chance to respond, but my report had not been posted. Two days ago I called Angie's List again, they have my report but don't know why it's still not posted on the web site. Maybe posting it myself will help the process along.

Several things listed above are false. Work was not completed. The crew members in question are 20 and 22 years old, not teenagers; the foreman is a US national, but of Hispanic descent. He speaks English very well. The workers speak English, albeit not perfectly. That doesn’t mean that they are illegally working in the country though. We do abide by state and federal laws in our hiring practices and take a great deal of pride in that. After a phone call to myself, the estimator and the office with many accusatory and other concerning overtones and after having confronted the crew in a manner that made them feel disrespected and accused, I left it up to the crew to stay or work for this man. We have a policy of mutual respect and try to empower our workers in situations where they do not feel entirely comfortable. This individual (whether or not he meant to) made them feel threatened, accused and disrespected. They opted to lose a day’s work rather than continue to be harassed by him. Yes we did say that we were not interested in working for him. However, our leaving does not equate to illegal hiring practices nor any other admission of guilt. I’m not sure how this “convinced him” of that. We chose to leave rather than do business with someone who made them feel uncomfortable or harassed. If a similar situation arose where workers we were not comfortable in their working environment we would do the same. PDL

The painter and the contractor arrived promptly at the appointed time to begin. The contractor went over the job with his painter to make sure that he understood what was expected and what we had agreed on. He checked with us to make sure that we were all on the same page and then said to call if we had any questions. Later in the afternoon my husband was checking on the progress of the front door. The painter told my husband that he had just was finished putting the primer coat on. My husband looking at the front door at that time was not too pleased with what he saw and decided to make a call to the contractor to have him come over and check the front door for himself. When the contractor arrived he relayed to us and to his painter that his work was indeed not acceptable and that the front door needed to be absolutely perfect. This meant that the painter would need to do a lot more sanding to take off more of the old paint that was still apparent under the new paint. The contractor then checked the deck doors to see the quality of work. These doors were acceptable to both us and the contractor. At the end of the day it took 2 more visits to get it right. We were happy that the contractor agreed with us regarding the quality and what we expected for the amount of money we paid, especially for our front door. One regret of mine may be is that the frame part of the front door is not quite perfect. How much does one complain??
Description of Work: We had our exterior doors painted. Two are french doors on the deck. One single door on the deck. Then the front door. All of the doors needed to be sanded and primed before being painted as it had been years since they had been painted and they sure showed their wear!

Called on 4/2/2012 for an appointment, Paul showed up, on time, on 4/4/2012. Paul was professional and detailed when he was gathering the information for the estimate. Paul emailed the estimate later that same day. I called Paul on 4/5/12 to schedule the project. Paul scheduled the project for 4/10/2012 and 4/11/2012. The three painters arrived at my house on 4/10/2012 and then stayed late to finish the job because of inclement weather on 4/11/2012 (high winds and incoming storm).
Description of Work: The job included painting six exterior doors and stripping, sanding, staining, and then applying urethane to my front door. The painters touched up around the doors to correct the original painter's work when my home was built. My front door needed a lot of work and the painters were fantastic. My wife and I are extremely happy.

Hi Member, There are many factors that can lead to areas that peel. Your house was built 84 years ago and while it has a lot of character and is beautiful, it has layers and layers of paint built up over the years. Each layer of paint expands and contracts at a different rate. That creates a problem for any new paint to properly adhere and last. Also with multiple layers, come varying thicknesses. Without paying for and receiving a restoration type paint job it is quite possible that some areas will need touching-up within 5 years on such a home. By far the majority of people do not opt to have a level 5 paint job done on older homes because it is not very economical. That would require stripping down to bare wood. If there are areas that need touching up, please give us a call. If contacted within the warranty, we can usually take care of it for free. -Paul Limburg

I was sorry to hear about your troubles with the deck. Decks can be a lot of maintenance. It is common for people to annually maintain or at least touch up areas on their decks. Although we offer a warranty, decks are excluded because the technology needed to have a long-lasting product is not available. Many times even though decks are excluded, when clients have contacted us we have have touched-up areas up for free. We do this because we value them as customers and want them to be our customers for life. Our workmanship warranty is for a period of 2 years and yours has regrettably lapsed. We have an old Victorian-style house (built around 1910). We hadn't had it painted since we bought it, so the paint job was at least 16 years old. In addition to the original brick part of the house, we have an addition that's wood and siding, and a garage that's wood and siding. We checked Angie's List and called a few places for estimates. Tyler came out from CertaPro. His estimate was higher than one other company and less than another. We had called a few places two years ago, and we got estimates then; the CertaPro estimate was less than the ones we got back then. Once we decided to go with CertaPro and called Tyler, he was able to get a crew out the next day to do the power wash of the exterior. Tyler then had a woman from the office come out to help us settle on the house colors. She helped us figure out which parts of the trim and body should be which colors, which was extremely helpful. We would never have considered painting the garage door white, but we love the way it looks and are glad she recommended it. The only complaint would be that I don't think the painting crew was given that information, but they didn't mind repainting a couple areas that didn't start off the right colors. The painting crew was led by Gabriel, who was quiet, but did an excellent job. They spent 3 days scraping and caulking, before they painted. They seemed very thorough. We had a few concerns, because we weren't sure that Gabriel understood us, and we called Tyler--he was on it immediately and clarified what we wanted with Gabriel. Because the painting was done in November, we had some cold, wet days. A few days after the crew was done painting, we realized one dormer had been missed for the body paint and some of the paint on the trim of the garage was cracking (probably due to the cold/wet weather). We called Tyler, and the first warm day that came up, the crew was back and fixed everything. We are very pleased with the work the CertaPro did. Even our neighbor told us how grateful he was that the crew was quiet and cleaned up after themselves. The house looks gorgeous! We would use them again, and we have recommended them to our friends and neighbors.

When they started the job the salesman, Tyler, introduced me to a "supervisor", Joaqin, who spoke English reasonably well, and two Hispanic workers who did not. I never saw Joaquin until the job was essentially over, though the salesman did spend some time on the job and effectively disarmed me of my concerns as the job progressed. The two workers seemed very cooperative and anxious to do a good job, but the language barrier was formidable. It was very difficult to communicate some of the nuances like color of trim, removal of fixtures and unused cables, etc. etc. The absence of an onsite supervisor was much more than a nuisance, and I think largely led to some of the more material frustrations. The two workers had evidently never hung lap siding and their efforts at removal resulted in destroying more siding than had been intended to be replaced. Additionally, their efforts at replacement led to some nearly comical leveling and fit issues, requiring the removal of some of the siding they had installed so that it might be installed correctly. By the time we were finished arguing about what needed to be replaced and my frustation with the incompetience of their replacement, I finally just relented and tried to keep the job moving. The pictures show the waviness that they finally accepted as the best they could do. (Note the lower boards distinctively do not lay as flat against the sheathing as the upper boards which were not replaced.) I was told that the metal corner molding that was needed to replace the bent and broken old moliding could not be found anywhere, so they made an attempt to straighten some old ones that were badly distorted during removal, and covered the bottom run with some gavlinized corner braces from a hardware supplier for the winter, assuring me they would return in the spring to replace them. I have personally acquired the proper molding that allegedly "could not be found" and expect it to be used to replace some of the badly damaged molding that has been re-used if they ever return to finish. Weather was begniing to become a consideration as the job continued into early November, but I was very disappoiinted when the masking was removed from the railing just a couple of days after it was painted when I discovered the paint was generally wrinkling, and actually peeling off in many places. Note the pictures this spring show how the paint has failed to adhere to the railing, now almost everywhere, giving the appearance that it has not been painted in years, yet it has been only a few months. Clearly whatever preparation was done was inadequate or whatever paint was used was incompatible. Note also in the pictures how much of the deck paint has begun peeling...down to the bare wood, although the house itself seems to be adhering pretty well. With such non-adherence on the deck it would seem that the paint they applied would have to be stripped before anything could be trusted to be applied with any hope of adhering. I had initially expected the deck to be sealed rather than painted, but was convinced by Tyler that the paint would be better. They sent me a $350 bill that I don't feel I owe for additional material, allegedly for the "additional" siding that was replaced beyond what had been estimated. It's worth noting that the additional materials were actually necessary by damage they caused by their own incompetence in careful removal of the siding that had been water-damaged. It's now August and the problems remain unaddressed. The jury is still out on the final outcome. I think most of these issues could have been prevented had adequate attention been focused on daily supervision and management of the job when it was going on. Clearly the winter weather prohibited their immediately addressing my concerns last fall, but now summer is over half gone, drier weather has long afforded them an opportunity to correct these issues. CertaPro failed to prevent the problems, and so far CertaPro has failed to even attempt to correct them! I had actually written this up and published it last winter, but Tyler had prevailed on me to take it down and await their spring remedial initiatives. It's August 13 and I'm still waiting. I don't know if my experience is typical, but I will not be as easily persuaded to swallow my complaints now. My patience has worn quite thin, and their response is well overdue! I will take steps to resolve this before our winter again inhibits an appropriate resolution.
Description of Work: They were contracted to prepare and paint the exterior siding, decks and hand railings of a duplex. The job included the replacement of some masonite lap siding that had deteriorated from water exposure, as well as the typical washing and scraping in preparation for a complete paint job, including two redwood decks and metal handrailing. I was assured that the metal corner moldings that covered the corners of the lap siding would be replaced as necessary, and that that the decks would be pressure washed and painted top and bottom, as well as the metal handrailing would be properly prepared before painting.

They painted right over the light switches. They did not take the carbon monoxide alarm down instead painted around it. They also painted over my wallpaper. I will never use CertaPro again.
Description of Work: They came to my house to paint my interior.

It went perfectly. I have no complaints.
Description of Work: I called CertoPro. They responded immediately and sent a man out. He came to my home and gave me a bid. Painters showed up on time, did the work, cleaned up after themselves and left.

I have some very high walls in my new home, and although I had done other painting myself, there was no way I could do these on my step ladder. I got CertaPro Painters information from Angie's List, and contacted them via telephone, along with two other highly rated painters. CertaPro had the most professional telephone response by far. The phone was answered by Lori, who told me she would have Tyler contact me shortly to schedule a visit to the home for a free estimate. Tyler contacted me within minutes, and we scheduled an estimate for the next day. I knew I wanted two walls (one with a window) in a bedroom painted, but was unsure about the bigger project of three high walls in the formal living area (including one window, a staircase, and some detail work around doors). I wondered, just out of curiosity, what that project might cost. Tyler arrived for the estimate appointment just as scheduled. I explained that I would like an estimate for the bedroom walls, and then a second estimate for the living room area. He had no problem with this, and was happy to help with my extra request. Tyler did a quick and thorough job. I actually received an emailed estimate (what I had told him was my preferred method of receiving the information) later that same day. The two other painting services I had called were much slower in returning my call, not as enthusiastic about performing free estimates, and a reminder had to be sent to both of them that I was waiting to hear from them. Just for reference, their estimates were similar in price to CertaPro Painters. I decided to use CertaPro, and called Tyler to let him know. He advised they could start the job as early as the next day, which was great for me! I scheduled them for 10:00 a.m.. Unfortunately, I was ill with a stomach bug the next morning and found myself unable to get out to the house to meet the workers. I contacted Tyler, who was very understanding and rescheduled for the following day. The painters, a team of two, Joaquin and Lupe arrived just as scheduled and after some explanation and discussion regarding the job, got straight to work. I did decide to have the large living space painted after all, which resulted in some difficult preparation work on those very high ceilings. I'll just say I'm glad it was them working on those high ladders and not me. I was also doing some work around the house, and they didn't complain about me listening to the oldies station all day. In fact, I even caught them whistling along a few times. They were very professional, friendly guys and I felt totally comfortable having them in my home. I could also predict that the job would be well done by the time they invested in preparation and keeping the house spotless. After the guys (and I) had worked at our jobs from about 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., they approached me and asked if I would like them to come back the next day or try to finish that night. I told them I still had plenty on my "to do" list, and would be at the house for a while longer. They advised that they would like to finish, but it would take until about 8:30 p.m.. I had no problem with that, and they went back to work. Painting is such hard work, I don't know how they did it all in one day, but the job was very well done. I am impressed with the skill and workmanship displayed. I'm even more impressed that not a drop of paint was spilled (at least not that I saw). They did a great job of cleaning of their supplies and headed out around 8:30, as predicted. I did pay the full amount via check on that day, which qualified me for a 3% discount, and I used the 10% off discount currently offered by CertaPro here on Angie's List. These discounts did make a nice little dent in my overall cost, and were very very much appreciated. A packet was provided, which included a card for a Customer Experience Rating Line. I called the line and completed their questions. I also received a thank you follow up email from CertaPro Painters earlier today. Very satisfied with the service. Would heartily recommend!

The estimator came out promptly and gave me a good estimate. It seemed fair and the reviews were positive on AL so I took it. The day-of the painter came out and started the prep with scraping and power washing. The power washing made a colossal mess of paint chips all over the back of the yard. The painter did check in with me to make sure I felt the prep was adequate. The next day the painting began. The quality of the painting was generally good and they were reasonably quick. Several things really put a bad taste in my mouth though: 1. The painters used a lot of my equipment (ladder, ext cords, etc.) and also washed their brushes/rollers in the container I had my hose in out back. The hose was not removed from the container and ended up sitting in painted water. When I asked them not to do so they then started just washing them off in our bushes. 2. The paint chips were never cleaned up. They also laid down some visqueen over some of our plants and killed them. 3. The next day my neighbor, whose garage abuts ours and who allowed the painters to stand on his garage roof to paint the back of ours, came over to tell me someone had stepped through a portion of his roof. I checked it out and there was a foot sized hole in the roof. There were also paint chips covering the back portion of his yard that I cleaned up. The Certapro rep did come out and patch my neighbors roof. However, despite my mention of dissatisfaction with the other aspects of the job nothing was done to mitigate it. I won't be using Certapro again.
Description of Work: Prepped and painted exterior of my detached garage.

We take these matters seriously and have made corrections to prevent some of those issues from happening again. I am happy that you were pleased with the overall quality, punctuality and other aspects of the job including working with our outside sales staff. If there is anything more that I can do please do not hesitate to reach me. We would love another opportunity to be of service to you again if you are ever in the market. Certapro was able to get to our job very quickly after I accepted their bid, which happened to be significantly less than the other bid we received. I checked the paint that they indicated they were using, and it was top quality, in fact the highest rated by the consumer guide that I checked. The prepping wasn't an easy job as the woodwork was bare and weathered in many places, peeling in most places, and the caulking was shrunken and had to be repaired on most of the woodwork. In other words, prepping was extensive. The painters showed up consistently, working when they could during rainy weather. It took a little longer that they advised me, but that was understandable given the extensive prep work and the wetaher. There was a slight misunderstanding on my part, as to the scope of work (I didn't read the contract again before they came) and I told them they didn't have to paint garage woodwork. After I realized it was part of the bid (Tyler called to check on it's being omitted) and decided that I wanted it done, they came back out and finished up. I will definitedly use them for all of my future painting needs. They came highly recommended by my son, who had them paint the exterior of their home as well, and I'm glad I took their advice.
Description of Work: This job included painting all exterior woodwork of our house and garage, excluding doors. Certrapro washing, caulking, puttying, scraping, and sanding to prep the wood. They primed all wood which was bare and painted two finish coats. They cleaned up daily and upon completion. They left touchup paint.
