Description of Work: Replaced soffit, fascia, gutter, plus new siding on front of the house. Included painting and removing rotting wood. Also included fixing 2 chimneys. I was very pleased with the work, as well as the expertise and the professionalism of Casey Buxton and his experienced crew.Buxton

I believe garage roof and gutter work was performed well. Chimney work was not completed to satisfaction. He claimed to be finished with the chimney. We pointed out that he installed a chase cover rather than a chimney cap, the chase cover was not properly sealed, and he failed to include certain components. Rather than acknowledging his mistakes, he defended his actions by claiming the manufacturer failed to include the required components and that he intended to go back and finish sealing the chimney. We requested he remove the chase cover but he indicated he was too busy unless we paid him to install something else. Very unprofessional. Be careful.

The customer told me they wanted a "basic chimney cap" which is what I installed. When the job was done, they were not pleased for various reasons. I admitted the job did not go according to plan and that I was at fault. I had offered a number of solutions to fix the situation, including to install a new cap at no charge for labor. After not being paid for any work I had done including not being paid for material, I was told to remove what I had installed and leave. I told the customer that "while realizing that I had tried a number of options to satisfy them to no avail" I would not be coming back to remove the work until I had time or was in the area. In this business you try to please everyone you work for, 99% the time it works out great, but sometimes you run into trouble, it's just the nature of the beast. What's important is what you do to fix these sometimes inevitable situations. This case was my only non fixable circumstance ever despite bending over backwards. And let me say again, I was not paid a dime for this job.

They did a great job. They did exactly what they said they would do for the price they quoted. It was within budget. We have recommended them to others. We would rate them highly and would absolutely use them again in the future if necessary.
